Sam is currently inside a cave deep inside the forest.

The cave is full of medical equipment that he created. It looked a lot like the modern equipment, but after years of research in the Dusk, these devices are all made to suit the needs of the cultivators.

In the middle of the cave, on the table in front of him laid a Blood Yena, completely unconscious. Sam is currently monitoring its bodily functions with the observation ability.

Blood Yena are kind of unique creatures. They live in large packs. Packs larger than wolves and they have a strict hierarchy. At the same time, they are much more cunning and intelligent that hyenas.

However, there is one thing that makes these creatures more unique than the rest of the canines.

They are outcasts. Not just canines, the rest of the beasts all despise these creatures because of their uncontrollably gluttonous nature. They cannot be satiated no matter what.

Whenever they are full, they consume that energy by copulating and increase their tribe. The female yena consume a lot of food during the pregnancy period, which helps them go crazy for the food. And Male Yena constantly looks for mates to satiate their food.

One could only imagine, how much they consume just for procreation.

Of course, a single pack can only have so many mates for these creatures. In a general case, it is more likely that the males start fighting each other. But in case of these things, they don't. Instead, they look for mates in other canines.

Wolves, foxes and hyenas mostly.

That is also the reason for the existence of such a variety of Yena Species.

In the information Sam has, the reason for such successful spread of Yena species is the highly reactive and cohesive gene they hold. When Sam came here and witnessed just how many species the Yena have and how much they assimilated the genetic strength of the other creatures, he couldn't help but feel a bit creative.

That is the cause of some experiments.

He made some quick arrangements for the Golden Hinds. There are not many strong beasts within those Golden Hind tribes. And the actually strong ones can protect themselves.

So, Sam's main task is to deal with the weak ones.

Sam did two things. He let out of his beasts to act as the body guards. He even let out his specters, shadow mice and shadow undead. Then he arranged a bunch of formations that could help with dealing with the slightly stronger foes.

The rest of the golden hinds will be taken care of by themselves.

While things are like that, he delved into the experiments.

He did some genetic research and came across some really interesting qualities of the genes. To put it simply, he realized that the Blood Yena, the original species have a gene structure that appeared to be 'incomplete'.

Whenever this genetic structure is merging with the genes of the other species, they are gaining a sense of 'completion'.

And that is the reason, the variant Yena have much better control over their gluttony unlike the Blood Yena.

This gave Sam a great idea and he got tempted into making a living biological weapon. He created a genetic serum that will react with the DNA of the Yena. And this genetic serum is created with the genes of microorganism.

This provides a slight completion to the genetic structure, but at the same time the Yena will become carriers of an extremely powerful virus.

This virus has symptoms very similar to rabies and they are amplified by a million times to react against the spiritual energy possessed by the other creatures.

So, now Sam is testing the first ever live subject of the genetic serum.

From the looks of it, everything is perfectly normal. There are no adverse affects to the creatures. The only effect the virus will have on them is that it consumes all the excessive energy from the consumption of large amounts of food.

That means, the Blood Yena, will not immediately look for a mate and it will take much longer time to become full.

At the same time, once the virus within the body reaches a certain level, it will be excreted and will be replaced by its own offspring. This allows the Blood Yena to stay at proper health. In long term, the packs of Blood Yena will not be as big.

In a way, Sam is indeed finishing his mission. And his method will make sure that the Golden Hinds might not even face this problem ever again in the future.

"How do I make them ingest this?"

He already estimated that the demand will raise in just a couple of days. But he didn't expect that he will see the highest demand for the weapons.

"Did you get the report on the consumers for these weapons? Why are so many people buying?"

He couldn't help but ask. Of course, the ease and the power are the main reasons. The sales are numbering in tens of thousands from the day one. The only problem is that he thought some big family might be trying to snatch the load of these weapons. He cannot have Thalassa itself hoard these weapons.

The assistant nodded and passed another report.

It is analysis on their customer base and from the looks of it, they don't actually belong to Thalassa.

"I knew that these would be in demand, but this much? There are so many repeat customers. What they fuck are they doing with them?"

He couldn't help but mutter out loud.

The assistant then spoke.

"Sir, we have our scouts following some of the buyers with highest number of purchases. To our surprise, not only did their background not link to Thalassa, it is quite opposite. The biggest buyers are actually people with no background.

They don't even have money to actually buy this many.

Once they heard of it, they came to the store, used all of their life savings to buy one. In a few hours, they came back with their guns exhausted as well as a bunch of goods and money to buy more guns. That is how they became the biggest buyers.

And the scouts said that these people are going on a rampage in the Thalassa territory. One of them was a former genius who got his family killed because a branch family member of Thalassa couldn't control his temper and suffer humiliation.

Now this young man took those guns and killed more than half of the people involved in the incident of his family's massacre. He doesn't seem to want to stop any time soon. Usually, he shouldn't have been able to do that, but with guns he was able."

Joran took a deep breath.

"I wonder how the Thalassa will react to this."

He paused and went into a deep thought.

"Send the stock they demanded. Let these things sell as fast as they could. Just keep an eye on the Thalassa family and their movements. If there is any major retaliation from them, let me know immediately.

Now, what about the wine? What are the sales like?"

The entire room's atmosphere retuned to normal.

"Sir, the demand for the wine is creating quite a ruckus. The influential people are all acting for large batches to be sold. They are even winning to let us auction the wie…"

The meeting went on.

Back in the Academy realm. The chaos that started with Olympian region as its origin is spreading like a wild fire to other regions. None of the regions were spared.
