Isla Lane suddenly spoke up, and everyone present looked up at her, not knowing what she was going to say, everyone had a puzzled look on their faces.
Alice Turner, however, had a bad feeling in her heart. Although she didn’t know exactly what Isla Lane was going to say, she knew it had to do with her and Benjamin Shaw.
Sophia Wood glanced at Alice Turner, then turned her gaze towards Isla Lane, "Let’s go to the living room to talk."
Her eyes were on the mother-in-law across from her, but her heart was with Alice Turner. She didn’t know what the mother-in-law wanted to say to them; could she possibly know about their divorce issues?
No matter what the mother-in-law wanted to discuss with them, she felt it would be better to discuss it in the living room. There were too many people here, and it seemed inappropriate.
"Yes! Let’s go to the living room to talk."
Receiving Sophia Wood’s hint, Christopher Turner stood up from his seat. After standing up, without pausing for a moment, he left his seat and walked towards Alexander Shaw and Isla Lane.
Seeing this, Sophia Wood also immediately stood up from her seat and, together with Christopher Turner, walked towards the Shaw couple.
Seeing the father-in-law and mother-in-law walking towards them, Alexander Shaw and Isla Lane couldn’t sit still any longer; they both stood up one after the other.
After the two walked over, the four of them left the dining room together; they went to the living room to discuss things.
Alice Turner really wanted to follow and see what was happening, but as she was about to get up, she held back; her aunts and uncles were all there, and it wouldn’t be appropriate for her to leave.
Benjamin Shaw, however, had a nonchalant attitude, sitting there laughing and chatting with Easton Holmes, as if the matter being discussed didn’t concern his mother at all.
Lily Turner was most curious about what happened to Alice Turner’s left hand. As for what Isla Lane was going to discuss with her parents, she wasn’t particularly concerned about it.
"Sister! Let me see your hand." Lily Turner quietly tugged at the sleeve of Alice Turner’s left arm, whispering.
Alice Turner didn’t follow her lead by taking her hand out of her pocket; instead, she communicated with her using her eyes, "I’ll show you later."
There were other people sitting nearby now, and she didn’t want to take out her injured hand for display.
Lily Turner pouted in disappointment, but she didn’t keep pressing Alice Turner to show her. She started to worry in her heart about what happened to her sister’s hand. Why did her sister keep refusing to show her?
Could her sister’s hand be injured? It must be injured, otherwise, she wouldn’t keep it hidden in her pocket.
"Alice! Lily! We’re going to head back now; you two, please let your parents know later." Seeing that their brother and sister-in-law, along with the Shaw couple, went to discuss things, Olivia Turner and Finnian Turner discussed it and decided to leave first.
"Why don’t you stay a little longer? My parents will finish talking soon." Seeing their uncles and aunts, along with their aunt and uncle, stand up, Alice Turner and Lily Turner quickly stood up as well, with Alice Turner speaking to try and keep them from leaving.
"We won’t wait."
Olivia Turner and Finnian Turner refused Alice Turner. After refusing, both families, led by them, left under the farewell of the Turner sisters and the Shaw brothers.
After seeing off their aunt’s and uncle’s families, Alice Turner walked towards the living room.
