When Alice Turner returned with the food, Easton Holmes left the hospital room. As he left, he only mentioned that he was going out to handle some business; however, he didn’t tell Lily Turner what it was. "Sis! Thank you!"

Looking at the steaming bowl of wontons in front of her, Lily Turner felt a surge of gratitude. She reached out to pull Alice Turner to sit beside her, "Let’s eat together."

As she spoke, she handed a small spoon to Alice Turner.

"I’ve already eaten outside, you go ahead and eat." Alice Turner placed the small spoon back in its spot and pushed the bowl of wontons on the small table closer to Lily Turner, "Eat it while it’s hot, or else it’ll get cold soon."

How could she compete for food with a pregnant woman? If it were before, she would have been impolite about it.

Lily Turner wanted to persuade her a few more times, but before she could get her words out, Alice Turner waved her hand to stop her, "No more talking, just eat."

To avoid further back-and-forth with Lily Turner, Alice Turner stood up and went to sit on the sofa, pulling out her phone to play games to pass the time, conveniently avoiding Lily Turner who was eating on the hospital bed.

Hearing the sound of mobile games coming from the sofa, Lily Turner glanced over, seeing Alice Turner engrossed in her game. Only then did she slowly withdraw her gaze and begin to eat the wontons.

Ever since becoming pregnant, Lily Turner discovered her appetite was gradually increasing. Previously, she couldn’t even finish a bowl of wontons, but now she ate every last drop of soup.

After finishing her meal, Easton Holmes still hadn’t returned. She looked curiously at the door of the hospital room.

What on earth is he doing? Didn’t he say he’d be back soon?

Just as Lily Turner was wondering at the door, Easton Holmes pushed the door open and walked in. Seeing him enter, she blurted out, "What took you so long?"

In reality, it hadn’t been long at all, just the time to finish a bowl of food. She was mainly curious about what he went out to do.

"I went to discuss changing your hospital room with the hospital management." Easton Holmes responded as he strode inside.

Upon hearing this, not only was Lily Turner surprised, but even Alice Turner, who was playing a mobile game on the sofa, was shocked. She promptly got up and came over, holding her phone.

"Change the hospital room? Is this room not good?"

This was a high-end VIP hospital room she had specifically chosen.

"I switched it to a sunnier room."

Easton Holmes’s implication was that this room wasn’t sunny, yet the real reason for changing rooms had nothing to do with sunniness.

The current room Lily Turner was staying in had already been leaked online by a nurse. He believed fans and paparazzi would soon come knocking.

He didn’t want her to know about these things. If she did, she would surely worry and become upset, which wasn’t good for her or the baby.

Hearing this, Alice Turner instinctively glanced out the window. Although it was night, she could still tell the direction, and indeed, this room wasn’t sunny. She said no more.

Lily Turner, however, wasn’t so settled. She refused to change the room, providing a slew of reasons, "I think this room is quite nice, and besides, it’s just for a few days. We’re not staying here long-term."

"Even for a few days, you should stay comfortably."

Easton Holmes walked to the bedside, bent down, and picked up Lily Turner. As he lifted her, he whispered softly in her ear, "I’ll explain to your sister."
