Chapter 1003: Chapter 1003: You Don’t Need to Worry So Much

Sophia Wood was very cooperative; she didn’t say much and got up to leave, giving space to the two sisters.

"Sis! Has something happened recently?" As soon as Sophia had closed the door and left, Lily Turner spoke eagerly.

Earlier, when Lily accused her of lying, Alice Turner knew Lily would ask her about it. Having anticipated this, she wasn’t surprised at all.

"Would you believe me if I said no?" She stared at her younger sister beside her, and it was clear that her sister had already figured something out.

Lily immediately shook her head, "No!"

She met her sister’s gaze, and it was obvious that her sister had been through something lately.

"You’ve guessed right, something indeed happened." When Lily was pulling her aside for sisterly secrets, Alice hadn’t planned to hide it from her. She stared blankly at her sister for a moment and spoke of what had happened in the past two days, "Thomas Fisher and I are in love."

"Oh my god, is it true?"

Lily was surprised to think that Thomas liked Alice, but what she hadn’t expected was that Alice was already in love with Thomas. She thought Thomas was still in the pursuit stage.

Alice nodded, "It’s true; yesterday, we confirmed our relationship."

Her sister’s reaction was much smaller than she’d anticipated, and the heart she had just raised slowly settled down.

"That’s wonderful, sis! I wish you all the best!" Learning of Thomas Fisher and Alice Turner’s confirmed relationship made Lily very happy, and she immediately offered her blessings. But when she thought of Benjamin Shaw and Thomas Fisher’s relationship, she suddenly grew worried, "What if that man finds out? Will he call you a troublemaker?"

The two men were best friends; that man certainly wouldn’t do anything to his good buddy, but regarding her sister, he wouldn’t be polite. He was so obnoxious, acting like that in front of their family.

She wasn’t worried about what the man might do, but about her sister getting hurt.

Alice sighed deeply, "He will definitely call me a troublemaker. He’s already warning me to keep away from his good friend Thomas."

Her biggest concern wasn’t being labeled a troublemaker but the reaction and attitude of the four parents once they knew. It didn’t matter what they said about her, but he would be implicated by her.

"That man already discovered you two? How did he find out? Did he do anything to you?" Hearing Alice’s words, Lily’s heart that had just settled lifted again as she anxiously looked Alice up and down.

Seeing this, Alice was both amused and exasperated, raising her hand to lightly tap Lily’s forehead, "You don’t have to worry unwarrantedly. He didn’t do anything to me, and besides, your sis isn’t someone easily bullied. I definitely won’t let myself get the short end of the stick."

If that man dared to mess with her, she certainly wouldn’t be polite in return. Such a man wasn’t worth her worrying over.

"He really didn’t trouble you?" Lily was still a bit uneasy and asked once more.

Alice shook her head and stated with certainty, "No."

She said no, but her heart didn’t believe it at all. That man was deliberately giving her trouble; he wouldn’t even go through with the divorce he promised, making her fume without knowing whom to vent to.
