Fengyu looked at the expertise, seeing another big growth over the past two years.

"For 23 months I gained 80 expertise... initially I thought I would get 120, but because I wasn’t able to properly raise those additional 20 spirited ducks that came from the fire-patterned duck’s descendant, and the descendant of those, in the end, I only got 10 expertise monthly per 10 ducks, which is very little.

The expertise for this was 1.840, adding the 60 expertise I got in the month I was beast hunting, it comes to a total of 1.900.

Then there was the additional bonus for Wood Recovery – for over a year and three months, I went there monthly to help them recover. The first healing was to heal nine, then over the year it was first one monthly then five monthly, with an average of three monthly. Finally, the last three months were on average six healings monthly, and the last healing got me 170 spell expertise.

Then came his inherited spells – Silver Feather continued to give birth for the whole time. Only when he was gone for a month to hunt did she halt, which delayed the increase of expertise a bit, leading to it being 100 less than expected.

As previously, his ducks would gain 10 spell expertise monthly, and he would use these spells as much as possible, refine them and comprehend their intricacies to keep them proper. Of course this was only the case for the Spring Rain Cloud Spell, the Silver Feather and Wind Step Spells were both too different from the spells he cast usually, leading to them being somewhat shallow.

And lastly was his new spell –

When he got it, he gained a notification, one he had gotten before and accidentally agreed to right away –

Last time it was the Small Rain Cloud Spell and the Spring Rain Cloud Spell.

He had been a bit rash, leading to him having one spell instead of two.

"Last time it was fine, since the Spring Rain Cloud Spell is an upgrade of the normal rain cloud spell. Later I would switch to a higher version anyways, this just happened earlier.

But this time it’s different –

The Vitality Recovery Spell is a targeted recovery spell with a strong power, while this breeze spell seems more like a large-scale spell, whose power is questionable..."

Fengyu looked at the duck in front of him and smiled, "From now on, you will be called Soft Breeze.

Soft Breeze, can you cast your innate spell for me to see?"

"Quack? Quack, quack, quack!" the duck was a bit surprised at getting a name, then thought about it and agreed.

"Quack!" it started flapping its wings, flying into the air.

With its movement, the wind around seemed to be guided, becoming a gentle soft breeze.

It continued to flap its wings, not bothered at all.

Fengyu said as he opened the door for Soft Breeze to walk out.

The duck nodded slightly and went out.

Its wings became faster and the wind around turned into a breeze, spreading all around –

Fengyu went further and further, trying to see its range.

Finally...

"One acre?!" he exclaimed in shock.

"No way, how can it be so large? This... isn’t this the same as allowing everyone in a whole acre to have an initial recovery or have their physical exhaustion disappear?

He distanced himself and went out of the range.

He stopped and analysed the difference between his and Soft Breeze’s spell, until finally understanding...

"Soft Breeze can use his wings to generate this current, it’s more like a transformation of the wind. When I do it, it’s not a transformation but a direct conversion of my own spiritual power to the breeze, which is the usual effect of spells.

So, this spell is really not meant to be used by me?

Hmm...

No, my own breeze is a lot more concentrated than Soft Breeze’s. Its power is a third of the power of Vitality Recovery, while Soft Breeze’s is a tenth.

If I can find a way to safely absorb spiritual power the whole time, then I can truly transform this spell into a higher version.

Though in the end, my range won’t ever reach Soft Breeze’s..."
