Raised From The Wild-Chapter 330: The Godfather
Princess Amaya retired to her room to rest before having dinner with Donello and Raquim. She was informed that her Uncle Sapiro would join them, and he would arrive in the early morning.
Amaya settled on the edge of the bed and placed her feet firmly on the floor. With a gentle tap, the call button came to life, and the screen flickered to reveal a young boy of about twelve, with big, bright eyes that seemed to sparkle with curiosity. He was dressed in a loose orange shirt, which hung loosely on his chubby frame. Despite his plump appearance, his arms and legs were long and slender, giving him an oddly endearing look.
"Sister!" Amaya heard Ren’s voice calling out to her with excitement. His bright, radiant smile was almost palpable through the phone. She couldn’t help but want to run her fingers through his thick black curls, but instead, she gave him a gentle look and asked him in a concerned tone, "How do you feel in your legs and arms?"
"I am okay, Sister. My arms and legs are getting stronger." He smiled, and his long eyelashes fluttered.
’What a beautiful face. What a pity..’ Amaya did not continue with her thoughts.
Dave has discovered that giving Ren and Ava a special calcium booster shot improved their limbs and shrunk their spider legs. Their spider body also appeared less round.
Princess Amaya designed a body suit for the half-human, half-spider siblings to hide their true appearance. With the assistance of Dave’s people, the suit was created, and the siblings were able to live openly in the palace, posing as orphans whom the Princess had adopted.
The siblings were rare computer geniuses. They possessed an innate gift for hacking websites and bypassing security measures without leaving any trace. To hone their craft, they would often spend countless hours in Maharlika’s basement, where the latest and most advanced computers were housed. With an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and a passion for exploration, they immersed themselves in the world of technology, constantly pushing the boundaries of what was possible.
"Ren, where is Ava? Is she not by your side?" Amaya asked.
"She is currently working in the computer room on upgrading the firewall of the e-commerce website."
Amaya nodded. She turned serious.
"I need you to investigate someone. Her name is Adelle Black."

As the sun began to set, a sleek black car pulled up to the gates of a sprawling mansion that sat atop a hill. The car was unmarked, without any logos or emblems to identify it. Charles Gray exited the car and made his way into the mansion’s spacious living room. From there, he continued walking until he reached a room on the ground floor. The room was a library, filled with shelves of books and a large mahogany table placed against the wall. Gray made his way to the table and pressed a hidden button located underneath it. Suddenly, a section of the wall in the library parted, revealing a secret stairway that led to unknown depths below.
Before he could descend, he lost consciousness and fell on the carpeted ground. A muscular man appeared from behind a bookshelf. He carried Charles and entered another secret door on the left wing of the room.
The man placed Charles Gray on the bed, and a woman wearing a white scrub suit attached different apparatuses to him.
"Did he recall anything after encountering her?" a deep, low voice inquired.
The doctor observed the monitor on the wall and said, "There have been no changes in his brain scan. He shouldn’t remember anything beyond the memories that were implanted."
"Then, why did he spend time with the siblings this morning?" the deep low voice inquired again.
"That’s true. But he also spent the same amount of time with a few female athletes who won. Our people who secretly guarded him reported that he did not treat anyone special."
"Hmm. Is there a need to administer the drug to him?"
"No need! Too much of the drug might damage his brain and affect his intelligence." The doctor spoke casually as if he was just talking to a colleague.
He is one of a kind. Despite having his memory erased, he became even more brilliant. The businesses he handled all flourished in a short time.
"Wake him up and take him back upstairs. I’ll wait for him in the Phoenix Room," the deep voice said. The muscular man emerged from behind a shelf and carried the man from the bed.
...
Charles was seated on a visitor’s chair facing a huge mahogany table. He couldn’t recall how he sat down, his last memory was of standing and about to enter the secret passage.
He didn’t give it much thought, stood up, and hurried to the stairway leading to the Phoenix Room.
Six elite guards stood like statues before a big wooden door with intricate wood carvings. He knew that there were guards hidden around.
The room was completely empty, devoid of any furniture except for a magnificent golden throne that was placed on a one-meter-high platform. The walls opposite and beside the throne were covered with mirrors, which allowed the person sitting on the throne to have a complete 360-degree view of the person standing in front of him.
Charles Gray knelt before the man on the throne, who wore a black mask.
"Greetings, Godfather." He said respectfully.
"Rise. I want you to know that since you’ll be marrying my daughter, Adelle, you don’t have to worry about certain formalities. Your engagement ceremony will be held a day after the ’Battle of the Titans’ concludes. This is the perfect timing, as many VIPs from all four continents will be present. I would like this engagement to be the talk of the entire world."
"As you wish, Godfather. I will go with your arrangement." Charles Gray remained calm. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
"By the way, I heard that Hotel Amore has managed to double its net profit in the first half of the year. Congratulations! It’s great to see the business doing well. Also, I just wanted to let you know that I’m glad I was able to help you when your parents passed away in that car accident."
"Thank you, Godfather. I am grateful for all that you have done for me. I am nothing without your help. My life is yours."
The man he called Godfather smirked behind his mask. "That is all. You can go back and prepare for the banquet. It is time you meet all our allies."
"I’ll take my leave, Godfather." He bowed slightly, turned around, and left. When he was out of the room, his eyes turned icy and he clenched his fists.
