Raised From The Wild-Chapter 258: Princess, You Are Back!
"I ordered this from a company in Usturia," Marx replied nonchalantly.
The general was disappointed. Usturia was so far away. It they ordered from there, then it would be very expensive.
Amaya ate her breakfast quickly and went to where the horses were.
"We have to hurry back to the hunting ground. I need to reach there before 10:00 am otherwise I am out of the game." Amaya mounted Artemis without difficulty.
Marx was about to mount Apollo when General Maza approached him.
"Can I ride this horse back to the Hunting Ground?"
Marx frowned. A few soldiers surrounded him looking at him with hostility. He realized that the general was not asking for his permission.
"Sure. If you can ride him, then feel free." Marx kept his voice polite.
Vasquez stole a glance at his boss and he knew that he was furious.
Marx handed the rope to the general. It wasn’t a proper rein but Marx did not have a problem with that. Apollo was tamed and was a very obedient horse.
The general proudly mounted the magnificent white horse. The moment his butt touched Apollo’s back, the horse lifted its hind legs and tried to dislodge the person on his back.
The general was caught off guard. He almost fell but he was able to hold onto the rope and clutched the horse’s mane.
Apollo was in pain and he became even more angry. He moved violently and kicked the tent in front of him. The tent collapsed into a messy heap.
The general tugged at the rope and it almost choked the horse. The stubborn horse did not give up until he finally threw the general off his back.
The general was lying on the ground. The horse snorted and he wanted to step on the general but Marx stepped in and calmed him down. Marx was worried that the soldiers who had their hands on their guns would shoot at him.
The general was in pain. He was also embarrassed. He cursed the horse and vowed to kill it when they arrived at the hunting ground.
The captain helped him up. The accompanying military doctor checked his body for injuries. Fortunately, the general’s injuries were not that serious.
"I am sorry for what happened earlier general. This is a wild horse and not yet tamed so it is very aggressive." Marx apologized but he was rejoicing inside.
’Good for him. Why would he covet something that is not his?’
Princess Amaya looked toward the east. When she woke up, it was still the crack of dawn but now, she could already see the rays of the sun in the east. They had wasted a lot of time.
"General, I am sorry but we really have to go. You don’t need to escort us, but if you want to come, then let’s leave now." Amaya uttered as she checked her watch. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
Amaya did not wait for the general to respond. She already prodded Artemis to move forward.
Marx hurriedly mounted Apollo and followed Amaya. Behind him was Vasquez. His backpack appeared bigger and bulkier.
Mount Janai was less dense than Mount Paraiso. The horses did not have a problem running fast.
The general cursed silently. He can only watch the trio leave.
"What are you waiting for? Get me my horse and let us follow them." The general’s strong and clear voice resonated around the campsite.
...
Amaya and her two guards arrived at the hunting ground an hour before the winner of the hunting contest would be announced.
The hunters, soldiers, and the other people on the hunting ground were scared at first when they heard the thundering hooves of the horses. Their first thought was that they were being attacked.
However, when they noticed that it was the princess and her guards, followed by General Maza and his soldiers, many were relieved and sighed.
The hunters who were excitedly waiting for the results of the hunting competition were mystified when they saw Princess Amaya riding a magnificent white horse and her guard was also riding one.
"So there is indeed a white horse in the forest?"
"Do you think they entered the forbidden mountain?"
"How should I know? Definitely, they went outside the hunting ground."
"What will happen to us? Are we going to lose? She captured the elusive white horse."
"But we have hunted so many animals. Even if she captured a white horse, her points would still not be enough to beat us."
"Look at them. They looked so disheveled. They must have entered Mount Paraiso."
"Are you for real? If they entered that damned mountain, then they shouldn’t be here. Nobody came out of that mountain alive. And those even have a horrifying end."
"But isn’t she a young lady who grew up in the jungle? No matter how difficult or how foreboding Mount Paraiso is, she should be able to survive because she was able to survive by herself for 17 years.
Sofia who was standing at the entrance of her tent was unhappy especially when she heard the murmurs from the crowd. "How could she come back? It would be good if she did not come back." She cursed silently.
Sapiro who was standing with his teammates was happy. He would no longer be punished since the Princess had come back.
Zanzara got sick the night before and was sent back to the palace to be checked by the palace physicians so only King Ralden came out of their tent to watch the spectacle outside. He already knew that she was found last night. He was also informed when she left General Maza’s campsite.
King Ralden, studied the people who were still on horseback. They were disheveled, a testament that they went into difficult situation.
The king pondered for a while. He knew that they entered Mount Paraiso. But he did not know if they came across things that they should not. Have they seen those creatures? But then if they had, he was definitely sure that they could not come out alive.
He wore a gentle smile as he gracefully walked toward Amaya.
"Princess, you are finally back!"
