Raid: The Blacksmith-Chapter 64: Obtain the Skill?: Part One

An unorthodox theory that stems from an uncontrollable curiosity. And definitely not because I secretly really wanted the Skill even though I said I was okay with not getting it...
Definitely not...
"Class-Types and Skill-Types. One of the most centered topics in the world of Warriors."
All Classes and Skills are divided into three categories known as ’Types’. Each category of Skills falls under one category of Classes. The Class categories are Support, Stealth and Assault, while the Skill categories are Aid, Covert and Battle. Aid-Type Skills fall under Support-Type Classes, and Covert-Type Skills fall under Stealth-Type Classes. Similarly, Battle-Type Skills fall under Assault-Type Classes. An Assault-Type Class Warrior will mostly possess Battle-Type Skills and the same goes for the two other Class-Types and Skill-Types, however...laying emphasis on the word ’mostly’, it’s not impossible for a Warrior of a certain Class-Type to have a Skill of a Type that doesn’t at all match with that of their Class.
"Such is the situation where the concept of compatibility comes into play..."
Though it’s not impossible, it’s also not simple as certain conditions need to be met. ’Compatibility’ refers to the fulfilment of those conditions. With zero compatibility, it’s impossible for a Warrior to gain a Skill of a Type that doesn’t match with that of their Class no matter how badly they want it.
So... While having Skills of Types that don’t match the Type of one’s Class is doable. No one has the ability to gain any Skill they want unless that Skill matches with their Class perfectly.
"Well... No one except me, of course."
The more I think about it the more I realize just how much of a hidden gem this Class of mine is.
"This topic has had most people ask the question, ’’What constitutes the compatibility between a Class and Skill of mismatching Types?’’, and until now, no one has ever really had a straight answer. Some people have even often just said ’’dumb luck’’, and left it at that."
However, I see things a little differently.

The Warrior.
People often make the mistake of seeing Warriors as nothing more than their Class, Skills, Spells and Special Attacks. Almost disregarding the truth of the matter that is that, the Warriors were in fact normal people before Awakening. Normal people with significant lives, occupations, and even certain achievements based on said lives.
"Taking all of that into consideration, I can’t bring myself into believing that none of that holds any value to the System once it turns us to Warriors."
While the concept of Awakening has long since been established to be a random prospect and not some chosen one mumbo jumbo bullshit, therefore proving that the System doesn’t or can’t know a specific individual personally, it stands to reason that after an Awakening, a good chunk of information, ranging from the Warrior’s appearance and name, to even their experiences and past, is processed by the System, right then and there.
"Otherwise, I doubt we’d have status windows and Hidden Quests in the process."
"The way I see it, the System isn’t or at least shouldn’t be oblivious to whatever skills or capabilities we have or whatever actions we commit beyond the powers given to us based on our Classes. I think that depending on their significance, they should carry enough weight to positively influence the compatibility of a Class and Skill of mismatching Types. People may think that while, for example, a Ninja, being of a Stealth-Type Class may be able to gain a swordsmanship Skill, which is a Battle-Type Skill, since it’s common knowledge that ninjas can use swords, they won’t be able to gain a spearmanship Skill, which is also a Battle-Type Skill, simply because, ninjas don’t use spears. However, I’ve come to believe that depending on the Warrior in question, it’s within the realm of possibility for even a Ninja Class to gain something like a spearmanship Skill."
This would further explain why and how creating a weapon allows me to gain a Skill of a corresponding nature.
"And with that in mind, we’re back to why I’m still in this Dungeon... If the Dungeon only closes after I leave then as long as I don’t leave, it won’t close and if it doesn’t close then the Skill I want may still be up for grabs-ehh I mean uhh...the Skill that I’m totally okay with losing and am only going through this much trouble for in order to test a theory of mine, is still up for grabs...."

"Hah, so glad I’m alone."
"Anyway. The way that it works is... If I create a weapon Stealth-Type Class Warriors use then I’ll get a Covert-Type Skill. That Covert-Type Skill will act as the link that’ll skyrocket my compatibility with One With The Wind. At the end of this, I could have two Covert-Type Skills."
I guess I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little excited. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
"Alright, let’s get to it!"
Since Craft has already been activated, I activate Weapon Fanatic along with Bladework, Item Space, Cultivator and Pentagon Element King. I then conjure out the Dragon Furnace, and the Everchanging Anvil along with the Hammer of Unknown Origin from the Item Space. Afterwards, I conjure out all the Thousand Twin Death Needles from the Item Space as well.
"It’s unfortunate, but I really can’t do anything about this degraded Poison Steel unlike with the Thunderium from before. While Poison Steel is exponentially weaker than Thunderium, its composition is a lot more complex so I couldn’t pull off that same trick I did before unless I was knowledgeable with poisons. Which means that the weapon I’ll be making from this will probably have poison on the same level as the one secreted from pure Poison Steel instead of an upgraded version like Thunderite was for the Thunderium... But that’s okay. I’m sure in due time I’ll come across some pure untainted Poison Steel as long as I keep exploring Dungeons which will allow me to further develop the weapon I’m gonna make."
Using the Everchanging Anvil as a surface, I start to flatten the needles by hammering away at them with the Hammer of Unknown Origin, coating it with flames using the Pentagon Element King Skill. I hammer the needles atop of one another ultimately force-molding them to each other while constantly exposing them to the flames of the Dragon Furnace to make sure they mold well. Since there are 1002 of them with 2 of them being evidently much bigger than all the others, I divide them up into two groups each with five hundred normal needles and one big needle.
After molding and flattening them, I’m left with two fairly sized oddly shaped flat plates made of Poison Steel. I start the shaping process, constantly hammering and burning them up with the Furnace. Though not all of it, I shape each plate into a small blade. A dagger. Both designed to resemble the fangs of a snake. I wrap the handles up with Hayzar’s Goblin Skin after cutting it thoroughly. I then start fine tuning and sharpening the blades by grinding them accordingly against the Anvil, resulting in two amazing daggers radiating an aura of elegance. It must be because of Hayzar’s skin, but the daggers’ edges take on a luminescent emerald color. I don’t hate it. No. I don’t hate it at all.
"Alright now to finish things off." I grab all that’s left of the Poison Steel, turn it to molten using the Dragon Furnace then make two thin chains, each a meter long out of them using the Anvil. The chains each have an end where they join into one longer chain and on their other ends is where they each join with one dagger. I join each of them with their respective dagger and thus conclude the creation of my new weapon. After deactivating all the Skills I had activated and transferring everything except my new weapon back into the Item Space, I start playing around with it.
I wave my daggers around, their blackish-silver chains dangling from them and waving along with them, almost like they’re dancing...
And then...

The chains’ ends join, resulting in one longer chain with a dagger on each end. Letting go of one, I tighten my grip on the other and continue launching strikes and slashes all around. It’s like a whip with a blade on its end. The reach is significant, which pleases me. I swing the makeshift blade whip, running the end blade along the floor as slashes form across like Chinese writing strokes. The floor of the Harpy Countess is definitely durable, so the fact that these blades can slice through without much resistance is liberating to say the least. I pull back as the dagger I had let go comes flying straight at me and I catch it. Then pull both daggers towards opposite directions.
