Chapter 641: 13.06 - Supplies - Pawprints Of Passion

Bing Shi was about to bring down the spear when Tyrion’s eyes suddenly shot open. But it was too late, she had already pierced his right leg with it.

"Aaaahhh!" Tyrion cried out in agony.

"Shush," Bing Shi gagged him with a cloth, "It’ll be over soon."

Tyrion looked at her in horror and tried to get away from her, like a nightmare he couldn’t escape.

’Are we going the ’cover one trauma with another’ approach now?’ Dai An asked when Bing Shi cauterized the wound.

"What’s the definition of being someone’s mate, again?" Bing Shi asked, watching his eyes tearing up, his chest heaving from pain, his face growing redder by the minute, his teeth chewing the cloth, biting down the screams that were threatening to break out of his throat, "Shouldn’t it be a mutual agreement between two souls? Why do you allow your very feelings to be violated, and your opinion ignored? Keep calling me your mate and I’ll make sure each rejection is ten times worse than this little incident."

Tyrion broke out into a cold sweat and began to convulse. His eyes glazed over as his body shook uncontrollably.

Bing Shi treated his wounds and tied a piece of wood around his thigh, making a crude splint. She then proceeded to treat his other wounds and injuries, not paying much attention to his panic attack.

If his heart couldn’t take it, she would only need to bring him back and try again. She didn’t need to worry about the consequences of her actions since his soul was already broken.

Just as Lisandra took off her garments, a massive chest pressed itself against her bare back and another against her front. She couldn’t help but smirk internally, ’I can’t wait to see where this leads. Whatever happens, I’ll be sure to enjoy every moment with them both, fufufu.’

Her powerful soul reshaped the previous owner’s body, making it even more alluring than a few days ago — causing both the snake and tiger beastmen to go almost crazy from their lust.

"Don’t worry, we’ll take it slowly," said Kurus, his voice hoarse as he whispered into her ear. He would have never allowed another man to claim her, but she was right. Who would protect and hunt for her when he went into hibernation during the cold season?

"Mm," Lisandra moaned sweetly, "Take me, ngh," she said, connecting her lips with the handsome snake man.

In this highly radioactive world, there weren’t many resources that Bing Shi deemed as useful, but it was a fascinating world to explore.

Due to the high radioactivity, Shina’s team had no choice but to stay inside Felicia’s space and watch the outside world through the videos she had recorded.

(A/N: For readers that didn’t read the NSFW Chapters, the camera Dai An had asked from Ziek was not for their naughty times but primarily for Felicia’s spirit form.)

Biting on their invisible napkins, Shina’s team yearned to explore the new world as they tackled the task of turning the underground chambers, where they had fought the zombie virus before, into a new lab.

Shina said that once they finished their main assignments, they would get a chance to experience the world through the beastmen Tyrion had killed along the way.

Douglas let his head fall onto the desk beside his tablet, his pen drumming a slow, frustrated rhythm on the wood, "Why on earth do I have to study chemistry instead of helping out with the reconstructions?" he complained, memories of studying biochemical processes of living organisms – his least favorite class – haunted him. He longed for action, for battle!

Henry took notes as if he was on fire, "Because we’re running low on brainiacs, not bricklayers," he said, his pen blazing across the screen, "And someone has to check on Orion’s progress."

Aria observed the unique status of the females. "This is fascinating," she mused. In a world where strength was the benchmark of worth, this reversal of norms struck her as both refreshing and revolutionary. "It challenges everything we’ve been taught about strength and values."

Liam scribbled his notes with the enthusiasm of a sloth on sleeping pills, "What’s so impressive about their females? They look worse than Douglas’ ass, and their temperament is like Juliet on her bad day."

"Forget the women," Laura was similarly fired up like Henry, "Have you seen the males?! They all could give Nathaniel a run for his money!"

Bing Shi and Tyrion have settled into a routine over the next week. Every day, Bing Shi would scare Tyrion to the point of insanity, and then use his knowledge of plants and medicinal herbs to nurse him back to health.

Tyrion had become more cautious and fearful towards Bing Shi and was extremely obedient. He no longer dared to call her his mate and did his best not to offend her.

"I like being alone more than being around others, that’s why we can’t visit a village together," Bing Shi told him, "I have a habit of killing people that bother me, so it’s on you to go there and get some supplies," she explained, "Make sure you don’t cause trouble. You’ve got one hour."

"...," Tyrion bit his lower lip, his fists clenched and unclenched, "What about you? Will you be waiting here?"

"You would have found me anyway, even if I ran away," she said, "As long as you are useful, you’ll stay alive. The moment I deem you useless, I’ll kill you. So, hurry up and get going."

"Okay," Tyrion’s expression changed. He nodded and turned to leave, his face was dark and grim. Animal hides, leather, and some female clothes were all things he needed for her to be pleased with him, but it also meant that he would have to see people.

The leopard village was close enough for him to reach in under five minutes. He could see the wooden palisades and the small huts behind them, and the smoke rising from the fires inside them.

A few guards were patrolling the area, their ears and tails twitching restlessly as they noticed him.

"Hey! What do you want?!"

"Stop right there!"

The two guards leaped down from the tree they were on and approached Tyrion.

"Supplies."

"What do you mean supplies?!"

"Animal hide and fur," Tyrion said, showing a few clear crystals.

The two beastmen looked at him in surprise. "Where did you get this? Who are you?"

"Will you sell the items or not?!!" Tyrion asked angrily, not wanting to answer any more questions.

"Y-Yes! Of course, please follow us," the guards stuttered, leading Tyrion towards the village.

The two men were surprised that the young man was able to obtain so many clear crystals. He looked like a herbivore yet, his aura was intimidating like that of a feral beast.

Tyrion followed the men without any further objections. He needed what he had asked for. His attractive build and physique were covered in fresh injuries, his body was weak and sore, and his face was pale and tired. He was a mess. The few villagers who saw him looked at him with a mixture of pity and contempt, and most of the females ran away in fear.

’This is... This is my first time seeing such an unpopular target,’ though Bing Shi, ’No girls seem to be interested in him, but let’s hope it will change after he meets the heroine.’

Tyrion was oblivious to their reactions, his thoughts focused solely on obtaining the supplies, and on the female waiting for him in the woods. He was so focused on the task that when a little female came to purchase the same things he wanted, he gave her a threatening stare.

She jumped in fright and the leopard male beside her hissed. "Hey! How dare you glare at my female! Do you want to die?!"

Tyrion ignored them and grabbed the last pile of animal hide and leather, and throwing the money to the shopkeeper, who stared at him wide-eyed.

"H-Hey! We were here first, you bastard!" the male shouted angrily, blocking Tyrion’s path.

"Out of my way," Tyrion wanted to flung him aside but he was too weak and exhausted. His legs were trembling and his body felt like it was burning.

"Paxter, stop. There’s no need for violence," the little female stopped him, "He looks like he needs a medic," she said, looking at Tyrion worriedly.

"You are being too soft, Meiyang. That bastard doesn’t deserve any sympathy," Paxter snorted.

Tyrion didn’t care for the words exchanged between them, his only concern was that he didn’t have time to waste.

"Hey, are you alright?" Meiyang approached Tyrion and placed her hand on his shoulder, but she suddenly felt a hand grab her throat.

"Who do you think you are?!!" Paxter growled, and the other villagers became alarmed.

"I have a woman waiting for me," Tyrion said, his pupils constricting in a cold manner. Everyone tried to save the beautiful female, and pounced on the man.

"Meiyang!!!"

"Get off her, you monster!!"

"You will pay for this!!"

"She was worried about you and this is how you repay her?!!"

"Unbelievable!!!"

"Release her now!!"

Tyrion quickly let go and ran away, his face pale. The villagers had no intentions of letting him go, and chased after him.

"Don’t let him get away!!"

"We’ll teach you a lesson for hurting a female!!"

"You’ll regret this!!"

Bing Shi observed the entire scene from her vantage point, and sighed. ’He wasn’t moved by the heroine’s kind heart at all,’ she thought, ’And he even hurt her... Tsk, tsk, tsk, how disappointing. Not even the sweetest and cutest heroine could get his attention, let alone his affection,’ she mused.

’I wonder who his ex-mate was? She must’ve been a real piece of work, to turn a beastman so desperate that he would rather live a miserable life with you than seek companionship with a better female,’ Dai An chuckled.

Bing Shi watched the villagers catching up to him but before they could pounce on him, female screams were heard from the village.

"Ahhh!! Help!!"

"Ahhhh!!! No!! Ahhh!!"

"Ahhhhh!!"

The villagers dropped everything and hurried back to their females, leaving Tyrion behind. He took the opportunity to make his escape and disappeared into the woods.

Bing Shi walked towards him. "What did you do back there?" she asked, "I thought we agreed that you wouldn’t cause trouble."

Tyrion threw the supplies and collapsed onto the ground, panting and gasping for air. He was so exhausted that his hands wouldn’t stop shaking. "They... were... in... my... way," he panted, feeling dizzy and disoriented.

She knelt beside him and took out a healing potion Alain had prepared to test its efficiency. "Here," she said, feeding him the liquid.

Tyrion drank the medicine, his face twisted into a grimace, and then proceeded to vomit it.

"Hey!" Bing Shi cried out, "Don’t waste it!"

Tyrion gasped, wiping the tears from his eyes. He just couldn’t take it anymore and rubbed his tears with his fist, and then started crying in frustration.

’You bully,’ Dai An accused playfully, watching him crying his eyes out. He looked so vulnerable and fragile that one couldn’t help but feel sorry for him.

Bing Shi’s brow twitched. "Shut up."

Tyrion whimpered, covering his face. He was in no condition to put up a fight.

"Come, let’s go before they come back and slaughter us," she said and tied a rope around his waist. She climbed up the tree and pulled him up then processed to cover his scent and tracks.

The hollow of the tree trunk was large enough for the both of them, so they settled down inside and waited until the chaos had calmed down.
