QT: Against My Will-Chapter 623 - 12.03 - Game Of Hers - Interstellar Voyage
Shina continued to lay motionless on the ground despite Nathaniel’s dangerously close proximity. He decided to check her condition, but in an instant, her eyes snapped open.
With unexpected movement, Shina thrust her hand outward, and an invisible force erupted from her palm, slamming into Nathaniel with incredible power.
He was sent hurtling backward, crashing into the room’s far wall, as if an unseen storm had just swept him off his feet.
Shina too recoiled slightly. The mate bond caused her body to momentarily feel the weaker impact of her own force.
’Where is my little flirty bully?’ Lu Kai cried internally, ’I want back my sweet Bing Shi, my Seraphine, my sweetest wife.’
’Bing Shi is still in closed training,’ informed Ru Quan, ’Has anyone found out why she is being so greedy with trying to do so many things at once, especially helping Stinky Bun and XiaoPu?’
’She said she wants her babies to grow up faster so she could have us all for herself sooner,’ responded Xuan Mu.
’And you bought that crap?’ asked Ziek, finding it hard to believe she could love him that much, ’Hell, her kind of straightforwardness was always a whole different puzzle."
’I didn’t buy that crap,’ Xuan Mu sighed helplessly, ’though it’s the nicest sounding type of crap I’ve ever heard.’
Lu Kai watched Shina from a safe distance, and found the act of her sleeping dull and uneventful, |"Dai An, are you there?"|
|"Little Monster."| Lu Kai called out to Dai An quietly in an attempt to summon her without interrupting Bing Shi’s closed training, |"My Bitterbunny, answer me please."|
Because of Bing Shi, Dai An had a tendency to ignore all distractions, her husband included. Shina’s earlier actions was a preset spell Dai An had used to repel any males who tried to get too close to her body.
Shina found herself sprawled on the ground due to an error in the spell Dai An was practicing. Her goal was to train her body to carry out her human routines autonomously, much like coding a program.
Dai An had much more fun this way which was obvious by the internal joy Bing Shi felt.
’Dai An, Hubby is calling for you.’
Bing Shi, who would get distracted by anything, was also completely ignored by Dai An.
Dai An was deeply immersed in her practice, and wouldn’t pause it for, in her opinion, a trivial reason. It would take something as her life being hung by the thinnest of threads to break her focus.
Lu Kai found himself compelled to stay in his Nathaniel persona to avoid breaking down in tears over being ’neglected’ by his wife. He made a vow to endure any pain for the sake of the one he had placed above himself, above everything. But this type of pain held a sway over him that defied logic. He was just not used to it.
Not realizing that he was being affected by Lu Kai’s feelings, Ziek unconsciously appeared inside their bedroom within the space. They would usually hug Bing Shi’s dress to sleep, but feeling unusually naughty today, he swiped her pillow and squeezed it tightly in his arms before taking a nap. It was a habit he did not out of a need for sleep, but more so to indulge in daydreams.

When Bing Shi returned home that evening, she was greeted by the sight of the slumbering Ziek, who looked absolutely adorable in his sleep.
He slept sprawled out like a star, his fingers clutching onto the pillow as if it were a lifeline, and it teetered dangerously on the edge of the bed, threatening to tumble to the floor.
For a man who didn’t use to sleep much, she now often found him taking naps throughout the day. Was he tired? He must be, right?
She created a bubble around his head and quietly left the bedroom, ensuring his rest remained undisturbed. She would like to take over some of her husband’s burdens, but didn’t know where to start at all.
Victor seemed to be the biggest sore point in his eyes, and there was probably nobody else besides her who would be able to make him leave. She had been working on a plan for quite a while now, but who knew if it would work.

Victor didn’t know what Shina plans were, but he couldn’t just wake her up with a punch to her guts. Not that it would wake her up anyway.
He entered Shina’s room quietly, his gaze lingering on her still figure. He leaned against the wall, his voice laced with a dry, sarcastic edge. "You’ve really outdone yourself this time. Creating a lifebond with the Hauxley guy, trapping yourself in this... whatever this is...I’m almost impressed."
He knew she could hear him and waited for her response, but the room remained still. When Nora told him Shina had created a made bond with the male lead, he almost couldn’t believe his ears. But then he saw Nathaniel’s situation, and thought it was quite a smart move from him.
Victor sat by her bedside and rested the back of his head on the mattress, his eyes staring at the ceiling, "Why does every path I take lead back to you?" he muttered quietly. Whether it was one of his manipulation tricks to get under her skin or not, only a few could tell.
Dai An didn’t respond to his question, but she internally commented on his bad sense of direction for always ending up by her side.
Victor observed silently how a levitating marker wrote a message on a sheet of paper. He read the words aloud, his voice echoing slightly in the quiet room, "Are you up for a game? A test, really. What if we locked away our memories, and explored what would happen? No past, no preconceptions, just the here and now. Are you brave enough to see where we might end up without the baggage of our histories?"
Nora immediately tried to stop her brother, {Don’t be crazy Victor. This is too risky. Erasing memories, even temporarily, can have unpredictable consequences.}
Victor’s laughter suddenly filled the room, "Are you bored to death again?" he asked Shina, his voice dripping with a mocking edge.
The woman he got to know always found a way to entertain herself, even jumping into the most dire situations for the sake of it. Perhaps this little game of memory was just another one of her twisted adventures.
{"This isn’t a game, Victor. We’re dealing with real consequences here,"} said Nora, {"Sealing your memories is no different from killing yourself and going through a reincarnation cycle."}
She was hinting on how Shina would definitely take advantage of it and kill him.
Victor’s eyes glinted dangerously. {"But isn’t that what makes it exciting? The risk, the uncertainty. It’s what we thrive in."}
The thought had certainly crossed his mind over the millennia, to experience everything for the first time again.
Perhaps it was the familiarity of his existence, the mastery of countless skills and arts that had held him back.
What was the worst that could happen? Maybe he would wake up and be happy senseless to find out he had a beautiful lover and a cute daughter or maybe he would really be killed. As he looked at Shina, he couldn’t help but question whether it truly mattered at this point.
"So, how do we begin this game of yours?" Victor finally asked.
