QT: Against My Will-Chapter 579 - 9.01 - Good Morning, Stinky Bun - Jelly Household
Bing Shi smoothed the hem of her modest green dress, relishing the feel of the soft fabric against her skin. It was a refreshing change from the tactical gear she usually wore as Shina Night. "How does it look?"
She could finally wear a normal dress because her wings no longer stood in her way, yay!
Inside their bedroom, she twirled before Ru Quan in a private fashion show, capturing his full attention. He found himself speechless, but it didn’t matter—her question was directed elsewhere.
Dai An circled around Bing Shi to get a 360-degree view before nodding her approval. "I think this one suits us better."
Ru Quan watched as the two women studied themselves in the mirror, appearing like mesmerizing reflections of each other. Bing Shi glowed in her soft green dress, while Dai An was equally captivating in a lavender dress.
While practicing her godhood in a closed training everyday (during Shina’s beauty sleep or after puting Stinky Bun to sleep), Bing Shi would always save some spare time to focus on imagining herself without wings. This intense concentration led to a remarkable split in her godly form one
day, resulting in the creation of two Bing Shies — one with wings, and another, an exact duplicate, but without wings.
Bing Shi, despite the excess of accumulated powers, found herself at a loss on how to control both bodies after the split. So, she decided to let Dai An use one of her duplicates by controling a portion of her mind. As for the third form, the one with wings, she tossed it inside her space ring — to be dealt with later.
Unlike her spirit form, Dai An, in this new state, couldn’t alter her appearance and she was tangible to touch. In order to touch her, one didn’t have to interact with the spiritual realm like her husband used to.
"The green really brings out our eyes," Dai An continued to mus, still scrutinizing their reflections.
"I think so too. It’s decided then," Bing Shi helped unzip Dai An’s dress, and as Dai An stepped out of the garment, she transformed into a wisp of light, merging seamlessly into Bing Shi together with the duplicate.
Bing Shi folded the dress and sent it inside her space, "You are not going to accompany us?"
Ru Quan traced his fingers across her legs, "Wish I could, Sweetie, but we have to go hunt some gourmet kibble for our hungry Chubbies."
Bing Shi looked puzzled, "Gourmet kibble that needs an army, plus Xuan Mu and Ziek to accompany you? What are we feeding your Chubbies, dragon steak?"
Ru Quan cleared his throat, "It’s faster to stockpile with more people."
Bing Shi gently took his hand as if trying to keep him from leaving, "But you still haven’t recovered yet."
"Dai An’s healing skills were more than exceptional. You can ask her yourself," Ru Quan planted a quick peck on her cheek, "Don’t worry. I’ll be back by lunchtime."
"Alright, but you’ll have to show me your Chubbies today," Bing Shi negotiated. She didn’t even know he had some ’Chubbies’ if he didn’t mention them.
"You’ll definitely get to meet them. Those Chubbies have a way of making themselves known when they’re hungry," With that promise sealed, he gave her another tender peck on the cheek.

"Stiiinky Buuun, wheeere aaaare youuuu?" Bing Shi’s voice echoed through the living room.
Time might have stopped for Stinky Bun but not for his soul that continued to evolve.
Xuan Mu refused to seal Stinky Bun’s powers completely. It would mean slowing their son’s progress, which was already painstakingly slow. Her husband also used their son as a type of training to improve his own strength.
Ying Xiong had to be under 24/7 surveillance, literally. Once, there was no Kuro nor Xiao Pu, and Bing Shi lost track of Ying Xiong during cooking.
It couldn’t have been more than 30 seconds, and that little guy grabbed a box of cereal from the pantry and managed to cross the kitchen to the bathroom and hid the cereal box inside the toilet before she even noticed he’d moved.
When it came to playing and food, this lazy bum would move like a phantom, and hide like a ninja. What a disastrous sight to behold when she saw how the boy tried to ’rescue’ the cereals within the drenched paper box.
Other times, when they would go out for a walk, he would have freely allowed a truck to run over them just because he wanted to take a closer look. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
Approaching the window, Bing Shi stared down at the empty floor.
The carpet exhibited an unexpected talent – it was snoring. A series of low-pitched breathing echoed from the area that had Bing Shi stifling her giggles as she extended her hands.
Suddenly, an invisible little hand swatted at Bing Shi’s, accompanied by a groggy voice, "Daddy, daddy." Go away, daddy. Stinky Bun wants to sleep.
"Wake up, my Spooky Boo," Bing Shi’s fingers ruffled through the invisible spiky soft hair, "Let mommy see that adorable little smile of yours."
"Mommy?" came the adorable, questioning voice.
Bing Shi’s legs got hit by a little invisible bull head and enveloped by a pair of small arms. When she thought letting kids watch superhero movies couldn’t end up that badly, her baby decided to become an invisible cloak and prove her wrong.
"Mommy, mommy." Here. Here. A little boy in black and white prison onesies slowly revealed himself.

A few moments later...
Ying Xiong tilted his head as mommy led him to the bathroom, "Mommy, mommy, mommy!" Daddy stole Stinky Bun’s tooth! He opened his mouth wide to show his mommy his missing tooth.
Bing Shi couldn’t help but gasp in shock, "Oh, how could he?!" she exclaimed.
The boy returned to his sleeping spot and picked up a sword with his left hand and a truck toy with his right, "Mommy, mommy!" Mommy, let’s fight daddy together!
Bing Shi quickly scooped up her little warrior, "Does Stinky Bun want to fight on an empty stomach?"
As Stinky Bun swung his foam sword with all his might, ready for a fierce battle, he suddenly halted in his tracks.
Bing Shi kisses his cheek, "Stinky Bun also has to run some errands today, remember?"
His tiny face lit up with realization, and he turned to his mommy, "Mommy, mommy!" Stinky Bun remembers!

A few moments later...
Stinky Bun’s cries filled the bathroom as he adamantly resisted the idea of brushing his teeth. His current desire was to have his meal before anything else. Amidst his tantrum, he managed to hiccup out, "Daddy, daddy!" Daddy does it differently!
"Eh?" Bing Shi expressed her surprise, momentarily pausing in her attempts to calm Stinky Bun. "But Mommy has always brushed Stinky Bun’s teeth like this."
Despite wanting to fight daddy a while ago, now Stinky Bun was calling for Daddy, as if only Daddy could solve his toothbrushing dilemma.
"Then could Stinky Bun show Mommy how Daddy does it?" Bing Shi asked, subduing the heaviness in her chest. It was as if something wanted to squeeze her blood dry like a tangerine inside a fruit juicer.
Stinky Bun shook his head vigorously, tears still glistening in his eyes. "Daddy, daddy," he insisted, resolute in his desire for Daddy to be the one to brush his teeth.
Bing Shi tried to coax Stinky Bun into cooperating, "Alright, then we’ll wait until Daddy comes back and brush Stinky Bun’s teeth."
She didn’t brush Stinky Bun’s teeth, just as Stinky Bun wished. But also insisted on statying in the bathroom until daddy arrived.
As abruptly as it had started, Stinky Bun’s tantrum came to an end. He became more cooperative, especially when he realized that Daddy was taking too long to return.
Bing Shi continued holding his toothbrush, "Mommy is afraid to hurt Stinky Bun’s teeth, I think we should still wait for daddy," expressing how she didn’t want to make Stinky Bun cry again.
A little child’s actions could certainly stir up unexpected emotions, but Bing Shi was always ready to turn a challenging situation to her advantage.
After Stinky Bun learned to brush his own teeth with his mommy’s assistance, Bing Shi passed a butter croissant to the little guy’s hand.
They were running out of time, so she quickly helped him put on a comfortable outfit and carried him towards the private elevator.
"Mommy, mommy," Stinky Bun pointed at his feet. Stinky Bun wants to wear his truck shoes on his own.
"..." Bing Shi quickly took off his shoes and let the boy put them on by himself.
Ying Xiong sat on the floor, and put on his shoes smugly. The little boy would have no way of telling which shoe was for which foot if it weren’t for a truck sticker that would only match if he put his shoes on the right feet.
Bing Shi tore a piece of a croissant and put it inside her son’s mouth. The advantage of having a foodie baby was that she didn’t have to establish strict eating routines and there were barely any mealtime battles.
Stinky Bun had been used to receiving praise from Mommy and Daddy for his little accomplishments, so when he didn’t hear the usual words of encouragement after he put on his shoes on his own, he couldn’t help but feel a bit grumpy.
Bing Shi, sensing her little one’s mood, leaned down and planted a sweet kiss on his cheek as if she didn’t notice, "Let’s go, we’re running late."
