° Nathaniel couldn’t help but notice crumpled pieces of paper lying on the top of Shina’s bunk bed. Was she writing a letter for somebody?

° Bing Shi, determined to keep her thoughts private, tried to shield her writing from Nathaniel’s view.

° While Nathaniel maintained an outward appearance of disinterest, his eyes would secretly follow the path of her pen, tracing the curves and lines as they formed letters and words.

° "..." Bing Shi’s mouth twitched with a mix of exasperation. She crumpled up the paper she had been working on and swiftly began writing a new letter. She turned her body slightly, creating a protective barrier between her words and his wandering gaze.

° When he saw her reaction, a mixture of amusement danced across his features. He took out his sketchbook and began to draw for himself.

° A playful smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he sensed Bing Shi inching closer, her curiosity unbridled and her eyes fixated on his artwork.

° "..." Bing Shi couldn’t even finish reading what he had written and was already heating up in embarrassment for taking those words too personally.

° Bing Shi’s gaze flickered to Nathaniel’s lips, their softness and warmth beckoning to her. She wondered how it would feel to lean in and let their breaths mingle, to taste the sweetness of a stolen moment, "..."

° Without a second thought, she leaped off her bunk bed and swung open the window, the cool night air rushing past her. She really wanted to bite off his tongue, grr! She soared through the night, driven by an inner compass.

° And then, as if guided by an unseen force, Bing Shi spotted a figure in the distance. It was Ru Quan, standing atop a rooftop, his strong and commanding presence illuminated by the moon’s gentle glow.

° With a swift descent, Bing Shi landed gracefully beside him. The rush of her landing stirred the night air, |"Lu Kai keeps on teasing and flirting with me with his Nathan, and I’m starting to love it...but don’t tell him."|

° "..." Ru Quan turned, his eyes widening in astonishment as he took in the sight of Bing Shi standing before him, |"Sweetie..."|

° With a gentle and deliberate motion, she reached out, her fingertips brushing against his cheek in a tender caress. And without hesitation, she pulled up her mask and closed the remaining distance between them, her lips capturing his in a passionate and heartfelt kiss.

° Taken by surprise, Ru Quan reciprocated the kiss with even stronger fervor and devotion. He wanted to tell her that Victor was nearby, but oh, whatever. Drawing their bodies closer, his embrace grew tighter as he lost himself in the intoxicating dance of their lips.

° Dai An: |"Bing Shi actually wanted to bite off his tongue and gauge his eyes with her pen. The roots in her behavior seems to stem from the life source Victor had been feeding her with. I told her wearing Victor down this way will have some side effects, so she stopped fighting Nathaniel and getting injured."|

° Dai An explained how the blend of violence and audacity had been stirring a volatile mixture within Bing Shi, causing Bing Shi to switch her place with Dai An in protest.

° Ru Quan thanked Dai An for the explanation and resumed their kissing, but kissing Dai An in a physical body was like kissing a corpse, unmoving and unresponsive.

° When Dai An was in her astral form, he could feel her energy and her vibrant responses, but in her physical state, almost everything was disconnected.

° "What is this?" Victor stood at a distance, his brows furrowing when Leon intentionally shielded Shina from his view. "It feels like you’re trying to be territorial," he couldn’t help but scoff sarcastically at the thought.

° Victor’s gaze honed in on Shina’s unresponsive state. Strange... Her body should be in top condition, but her lack of reaction, coupled with the unresponsiveness of her limbs was clear that she was struggling to maintain her balance, requiring Leon’s support to stay on her feet.

° "Fuck!" Victor immediately teleported towards them and extended his hand before they could vanish.

° Victor stared at the spot where they had stood just moments before, now empty and devoid of their presence. The realization that someone had just kidnapped Shina Night before his eyes completely sank in, leaving him in a state of shock and disbelief.

° Xuan Mu appeared by Ru Quan’s side and kissed Bing Shi deeply in response, throwing her mask on the bed. His tongue pushed into her mouth and teased her taste buds, causing them to tingle pleasantly.

° "..." Bing Shi licked her lips after breaking away from their kiss that was so specific for one person, ’Xuan Mu?’

° Xuan Mu’s appearance threw her off a loop. No...more like his looks. He was donning a face and a tactical gear, which was precisely the same as Leon’s. Did he possess Leon’s body?

° "I’m still here," Ru Quan answered her question from behind, "I’ve split a part of Leon’s essence temporarily, forming a sort of copy that Xuan Mu could inhabit."

° While astral bodies or souls could be moved around more ’freely’, physical bodies were tied to the laws of the physical world. That’s why possessing a body was consistently easier than altering their original bodies.

° Bing Shi still hadn’t seen her husband’s true form. Furthermore, she didn’t even know where it was, though she was certain it wasn’t within their shared space.

° She looked around and discovered that she was no longer in the military camp, nor their home, but in an unfamiliar bedroom with no doors and windows.

° "We are inside Leon’s space." Ru Quan offered an explanation, "For some privacy." Victor had the ability to pinpoint her physical form no matter where she was, should he decide to do so. This should buy them some time.

° Bing Shi’s gaze shifted. She noticed a figure seated in the corner of the room, shackled to a sturdy wooden chair.

° It was Lu Kai. The cold metal dug into his wrists and ankles. His shoulders, though slightly hunched, were straighter than one would expect under the circumstances. His chin was raised as he stared at Xuan Mu and Ru Quan.

° "I thought we were in this together," Lu Kai uttered, his words carrying a tinge of hurt. "To stand as a team, to face our challenges hand in hand. But now, witnessing you willingly cast me aside... it leaves me questioning our shared commitment."

° With a deliberate motion, Xuan Mu guided Bing Shi’s gaze to meet Lu Kai’s, and quietly added, "Why not make it more real for Lu Kai’s Frosty and Scorchy by taking away the privilege of being your husband?"

° Curiosity sparked within Bing Shi as she asked, "Wouldn’t it cost me my privileges as his wife?"

° Would Lu Kai ever give her attention as Nathaniel if she wasn’t his wife?

° Xuan Mu paused, choosing his words carefully, "The only way to find out is by giving it a shot. Considering that he is already doing it, depriving you of your privileges and having fun at your expense..." 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

° Bing Shi pulled a red flag out of her space and threw it at Lu Kai, "Geez, and I thought I was the only red flag in our relationship."

° Dai An, ever the entertainer, couldn’t resist the opportunity to add her own flair. Taking on Shina’s appearance, she appeared beside Lu Kai and caught the red flag.

° She positioned it between his thighs, adjusting it carefully to make it stand upright, "Are we going to break up with hubby nerd for fun?"

° Lu Kai smiled slightly as he took on Nathaniel’s appearance, "That would be a silly reason for a breakup, don’t you think so?"

° Bing Shi flung her combat shoes in his direction, her behaviour changing immediately, "Oh, will putting you through some domestic abuse be enough of a reason then?"

° Lu Kai avoided the shoe and shrugged provocatively, "Well, who am I to argue with your wise decision?"

° In a swift move to prevent her from lunging at Nathaniel, Ru Quan had wrapped his arms tightly around Bing Shi’s midsection.

° Bing Shi squirmed within Ru Quan’s hold, her feet fluttering in the air. With her fingers forming tiger claws aimed at Lu Kai, she exclaimed, "If everyone’s okay with it, then why not? Whoever hugs or kiss the other first will have to—"

° She paused, mischief dancing in her eyes, "Take on the role of the character that the other concocts in the next world! The loser has to fully immerse themselves in the character the winner creates!"

° Lu Kai met her gaze, "Try me," he whispered, the challenge evident in his stance and tone.

° With an energetic leap, Dai An leaped onto the lap of the third Leon in the room, "Hubby boy, why are you here too?"

° Ziek gave Dai An a grin as he handed her a camera. The moment her weight settled atop him, he wrapped his arms around her cold waist and laid his head on top of hers, "Someone’s gotta keep these crazy bastards in check."

° Dai An turned on the camera and did a close-up of his hands first before pointing it at Bing Shi, "I and Bing Shi can endure more than you can imagine."

° "Yeah, well, I couldn’t give two shits," Ziek replied, his indifference apparent in his voice.

° "Fair enough," Dai An whispered, a heartfelt appreciation evident in her voice. She and hubby boy had teamed up after they were scolded by others for killing the mood during their naughty times.
