QT: Against My Will-Chapter 534 - 8.51 -A Heart Wants What It Wants - War Of The Wickeds
Living with a pack of bloodhounds was like living with a group of expert detectives that were always on the lookout for anything out of place.
Following Tia’s actions, Bing Shi enhanced her senses and sniffed the air, "Why do you smell like Bertha?"
Shina’s inquiry hung in the air, the weight of her words causing a momentary silence to descend upon the room.
Victor, however, seemed unfazed by the questioning. Brushing it off, he made his way toward the showers.

Victor stood in the shower, the sound of the running water providing a comforting backdrop, which was abruptly interrupted by the entrance of another person, instantly capturing Victor’s attention, "..."
Bing Shi stepped into the steam-filled shower area, "Is she alright? Did you hurt her?" her voice cut through the sound of running water. What was wrong with this man? Why did he never lock his door?
Victor let out an exasperated curse, frustrated with his own habit of leaving the doors open as an invitation for others to join him in some steamy activities. "Why don’t you ask her yourself?" he replied, water cascading down his body.
"She’s a private person. I don’t want to bother her with sensitive questions. I figured you could handle my nosiness better."
A sudden jolt of electricity surged through Bing Shi’s body, her muscles involuntarily tensing up. She used her arm to block the upcoming attack.
Victor grabbed her by the hem of her uniform and showed her against the shower stall, "Every time I happen to be naked, you conveniently find your way into the room. Let’s not make this a damn habit, alright?"
"I knocked." Bing Shi’s said as she instinctively reached out, gripping Victor’s wrist tightly. In an instant, her feet left the ground, and she found herself suspended in the air, "Ah, I’m all wet now."
"You knocked?" he scoffed as he looked her up, incredulously, "Don’t play innocent with me."
Absent was the usual sight of clothes clinging to a person’s body, the captivating allure of water droplets highlighting their contours, which would typically stir Victor’s desires and ignite his passion.
She stood in the shower, water cascading over her, but her waterproof uniform remained remarkably dry.
With her hair tightly secured in a bun, it seemed as though the droplets themselves were determined to shun any suggestion of sensuality, keeping her attire pristine even in the midst of the downpour.
There was one element that stood out even more —the monkey mask that adorned her face. The stark contrast between her captivating presence and the whimsical mask created a unique juxtaposition.
Simultaneously, a vivid spark of energy crackled around them, illuminating the surroundings for a split second. As if influenced by the sudden surge of his lightning powers, the water took on an ethereal glow, almost like tiny stars dancing in the mist.
Victor’s jaw tightened imperceptibly, "Why don’t I show you what I did to Bertha so that you can assess her situation yourself?" He remembered the girl who begged him not to tell Shina Night, even offering him her life in exchange, "I helped her to lose some tension."
He leaned in slowly, positioning his face just beside hers. His voice dropped to a hushed whisper, his words intimately reserved for her ears alone, "She squirmed in my arms like a little baby bird, and her heart pounded harder than ever when our lips met...I could still remember how Bertha felt pressed against me, her soft breasts pushing against my chest, and her legs squirming under my touch."
"Well, never mind," Bing Shi said. With a swift release of his wrist, she broke free from Victor’s grip, "I’m just here to say that even though I like Bertha very much, I don’t mind sharing her with others."
She continued. Her emphasis on each word was like a sharp blade, slicing through his heart with precision, "I didn’t inflict any harm on her lately, so I wondered if she was looking for it elsewhere."
Victor’s lips thinned into a tight line before he spoke again, "There was never a punishment for breaking the bet, was there?"
Bing Shi arched an eyebrow at Victor’s question, "Oh, Victor, punishment implies you’re a naughty child in need of discipline. I thought you were past that stage."
Victor cracked his fingers. He wanted to squeeze her neck until she choked; tear off the mask to see her face, and watch her expression as she slowly suffocated, "You may think you have nothing left to lose, but trust me, there is always something more to lose. Don’t push yourself to that edge."
Bing Shi’s unsettling chuckles pierced the tension, adding an unsettling layer to the conversation as if she found the idea of her own suffering to be a source of twisted entertainment.
While Dai An had grown accustomed to pain and found solace in its depths, the cruelty Bing Shi encountered on her path to godhood left deep scars on her soul, etching themselves into her very being.
Bing Shi’s eyes behind the mask twinkled with a mixture of excitement and vulnerability, hinting at the layers of complexity hidden beneath her enigmatic facade, "Do it. Let’s push each other to that edge and see where it takes us."
Victor experienced a delicate flutter in his chest, barely noticeable but enough to quicken his pulse ever so slightly. Did he want a relationship with Bing Shi, one built on trust, support, and shared experiences?
No. He found himself yearning for something more ambitious, something that ventured into darker and more unconventional territories.
As the tension between Bing Shi and Victor escalated, the very energy within the barracks seemed to respond, causing the lights to flicker momentarily. The electrical current, normally steady and reliable, mirrored the charged emotions that filled the space. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"Are you two dogs done biting each other?!" Tia called out, her tone eager and impatient.
Bing Shi patted Victor’s shoulder, "What dogs, Tia?! There is only a small pub here, playing with a chew toy!"
Tia sensed the mounting charge of electricity in the air and decided to stop whatever disaster was about to happen to their barracks, "You know, for such a small pub, you sure know how to rile up the biggest wolves."
Bing Shi grinned, appreciating Tia’s playfulness and the way she injected humor into the situation. "I guess I have a way with big animals."
Tia barged into the bathroom, "Need some assistance with the chewing toy?"
"It’s fine. Maybe next time." Bing Shi quipped, walking out of the shower and closed the door to the bathroom behind her.

Victor slowly took his fist away from the shower wall, feeling the throbbing pain of his knuckles. As he pulled back, cracks appeared on the once smooth surface of the wall where his fist had made contact.
She was like a tempestuous storm on the horizon that beckoned him to venture closer, even though he knew it could lead to his downfall.
Victor leaned forward, pressing his forehead against the cool tiles of the shower wall. With his eyes closed, he focused on the sensation of the droplets pounding against his skin, willing himself to relax.
His breaths came out in ragged gasps, his shoulders heaving with the effort of holding back the emotions threatening to spill over.
Like a whisper in the wind, he heard the voice of his desires, urging him to take the plunge. His rational thoughts of self-preservation dissipated into thin air.
Despite the undeniable danger she exuded, he found himself teetering on the edge of an insatiable yearning for her attention. In his mind, the risk of doing something reckless seemed worth it.

Tia laughed, wrapping her arm around Bing Shi’s shoulder in a friendly manner, "Well, just make sure you don’t bite off more than you can chew."
Meanwhile, Nathaniel entered the lounge, holding a scorched military radio. It emitted black smoke, a clear sign that the device had met its untimely demise when the electric particles reached the sockets upstairs.
Without saying a word, he raised his hand and sent an icicle flying toward Bing Shi’s direction. The icicle narrowly missed her, embedding itself in the wall behind her with a loud thud. However, it had successfully separated her from Tia.
Bing Shi looked at Nathaniel with a raised eyebrow, her playful demeanor replaced with a more serious attitude."What’s the matter, Nathaniel? Are you trying to start a fight with me too?"
"You looked like you were craving some frozen treats," Nathaniel replied dryly, "But I guess I overestimated your tastes."
