Chapter 134: PRS 35 Liona

Liona, who saw the tension between her father and mother, frowned in surprise. Her small eyes watched their movements closely. But after reading their minds, she understood that her mother was jealous while her father, who knew nothing, did not try to ask questions to explain this misunderstanding and apologize.

"Ugh, adults are really complicated," Liona grumbled to herself in frustration. "If there’s a problem, why not just talk about it nicely? Instead, they’re acting like children, keeping quiet. Communication is the key to relationships. If this continues, the problem will never be solved and will only get bigger. How stubborn!"

Scolded by a baby who was not even six months old, both of them felt ashamed and realized their mistake. They glanced at each other, then decided to talk privately outside the room because it was impossible for them to discuss this sensitive issue inside the room where Liona was there to read their minds. Their three children were also still studying outside, so the possibility of them hearing it was also quite high. Privacy was still important.

Understanding the meaningful look his wife gave him, Laus immediately went outside with quick steps, following Lura with a feeling of uneasiness.

The two of them went to the production house so they could freely discuss Lina’s problem and resolve the misunderstanding between them without anyone disturbing or eavesdropping. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

On the way to the production room, Laus couldn’t figure out why his wife was so angry. He kept thinking about what he had done wrong, but couldn’t find a definite answer. This made his head feel very dizzy, as if something was pounding inside.

Once they arrived at the quiet room, Lura boiled water on the stove with slightly rough movements, showing that she was still upset. Laus, who saw that his wife was still silent and not talking to him, could only sit and wait anxiously. He didn’t dare to start the conversation first.

After making coffee for her husband and sweet tea for herself, the aroma filling the room, Lura began the conversation in a cold tone. "While I was away from home yesterday, tell me clearly what happened. Don’t hide anything."

Hearing his wife’s opening sentence spoken in such a demanding tone, Laus felt a bad feeling in his heart. His heart began to beat faster.

"I’m dead! Does Lura know about Lina and what happened that time?!" Laus thought anxiously as he swallowed hard. Cold sweat began to dampen his temples.

Seeing his wife’s impatient face and piercing gaze, Laus cleared his throat several times to moisten his suddenly dry throat before answering. "Look, Sri... I mean Lura," he said nervously.

He told his wife everything that had happened in detail, without trying to hide anything because he knew that lying would only make things worse. He told her how Lina had come, how he had felt unaware of himself, and how lucky it was that nothing more had happened.

Lura’s expression changed constantly as she listened to her husband’s story, between sadness, disappointment, and anger at Lina’s actions towards her innocent husband. Her hand holding the teacup trembled as she tried to contain her anger.

"How could you let that woman get close to you?" asked Lura, her voice trembling. "Why didn’t you reject her from the start?"

"I wasn’t aware of it, Lura. Really! It was as if someone was controlling my body," replied Laus with a voice full of regret. "I’m really sorry."

Fortunately, the two of them hadn’t gone any further, so Lura was still able to open the door of forgiveness for her husband. Even though her heart still ached, she knew that her husband wasn’t entirely to blame for what had happened.

"I think we should go to Kyai’s house," said Lura after a long silence, sighing deeply. "Because according to Liona, Lina will act again, and this time her actions will be even more reckless. She might use more dangerous black magic. We can’t take this threat lightly."

"Liona said that? Our baby is truly extraordinary," Laus murmured, both amazed and worried.

Laus, who felt that it was indeed necessary for the safety of his family, agreed wholeheartedly with his wife’s suggestion. "Okay, we’ll go to Kyai’s house tomorrow morning after the children leave for school," he replied firmly. "We can’t put off this matter any longer."

The misunderstanding between the two ended with a satisfactory explanation. After finishing the drinks in their glasses while chatting more casually, the two immediately returned to the main house after making sure that the production house was closed tightly and locked properly.

Liona, who had been watching from a distance as her parents reconciled and no longer ignored each other, felt extremely happy and relieved. The weight on her heart lifted. She fell asleep immediately after being given a bottle of milk, while Lura gently patted her bottom with love and tenderness. She slept soundly that night.

****

Deep in the wilderness of province T, in a very old and seemingly terrifying wooden house, a woman wearing a black kemben was solemnly performing a flower bathing ritual.

After bathing in seven colors of flowers, the water feeling cold enough to pierce her bones, Lina was brought in by Grandfather Sura and sat in the middle of the room where several incense burners were lit around her, creating thick smoke that filled the room with a pungent smell.

Lina sat cross-legged on a mat sprinkled with fragrant kantil flowers. With her eyes tightly closed and full concentration, the woman recited the mantra that Grandfather Sura had given her to memorize so that the ritual she was performing could be carried out perfectly and bring the desired results.

The wet cloth clinging to her body and the cold, piercing night breeze that entered through the gaps in the woven bamboo walls did not disturb Lina’s concentration at all. She was determined to perform all the rituals properly so that her goal of obtaining Laus could be achieved immediately. Nothing would stop her this time.

In another room, just like Lina, Grandpa Suryo was also performing a ritual in the silence of the night to summon the master who had given him abundant strength and wealth. His voice murmured softly as he recited ancient mantras.

Although he often stayed in this very old and shabby wooden house for rituals, his wife and children lived in a luxurious three-story house that he had managed to build from working as a shaman for decades.

Not to mention the dozens of hectares of rice fields he owned and the hundreds of cows and goats on his farm, which were the main sources of support for his family’s very comfortable life. All of this was the result of his agreement with supernatural beings.

At midnight, when it was pitch black, the second ritual ended perfectly. Grandpa Sura invited Lina to enter the bedroom, which had been decorated like a bridal chamber with red cloth and flowers, to perform the ritual of union with her master, so that the demon could fully absorb Lina’s soul energy before giving her the power to control the person she loved most.

Sitting on the bed, her body trembling, Lina was a little surprised and frightened to see a large, dark figure with long, sharp fangs and eyes glowing red like fire coming into the room that had been prepared for her. The figure was terrifying.

In order to get the Laus she loved so much, Lina suppressed the fear in her heart and tried to smile even though her lips were trembling. She had to be strong.

"Don’t be afraid, Lina! This is for Laus! Soon, Laus will be yours completely! He will love you and leave Lura!" she suggested to herself loudly while closing her eyes.

Lina’s mind, which was now completely filled with Laus and her burning obsession, saw the ugly demon as the man she loved, so she went through with the night of union with a heart full of joy even though her body was trembling with fear. The illusion was very strong in her mind.

Lina consummated the union until dawn, her body growing weaker and weaker, before the sun fully rose and the first light appeared. The figure that had been rough and merciless with her since last night disappeared into the black fog, leaving a woman lying limp on the bed with empty eyes.

Grandfather Sura, who watched his master disappear with satisfaction, felt very happy because he felt a great power flowing into his body like an electric current, and his inner vision was also sharper than before. The ritual was very successful.

"So, it was that baby who had been watching me with her inner eyes since yesterday," thought Grandpa Sura, who could now clearly see Liona, who was still fast asleep between her parents on their bed.

Feeling that the baby seemed to be a major obstacle for him and could thwart his plans, Grandfather Sura immediately entered his private room, planning to get rid of everyone who could be a hindrance to him in the future. He had to act quickly.

After safely dropping off his two children at school and delivering the customers’ chip orders to several stores, Laus immediately left with his wife and two other children for the Amanah cottage where Kyai and his family lived peacefully.

Kyai, who had sensed Lina’s dangerous intentions since last night, was not too surprised to see Laus and his family visiting so early in the morning. He had been waiting for their arrival.

However, there was one figure who had caught his attention and made him very curious because the aura emanating from her body was very different and strong. This was no ordinary baby.

The baby in Lura’s arms, although she looked like a normal baby with chubby cheeks and round eyes, had a very different impression. Her aura was clean and strong.

"How old is your baby, Lura?" asked Kyai gently with a friendly smile.

Lura could guess that Kyai could see the special qualities in her daughter because the owner of the Amanah cottage was no ordinary person. He had great knowledge and sharp insight.

"She’s almost six months old, Kyai. And our daughter is a little special," Lura replied honestly, hugging Liona more tightly.

Kyai nodded in understanding after hearing Lura’s last words because he had also realized this clearly, even though he did not know exactly what made the baby special. What was clear was that it calmed his heart a little after the bad premonition about Lina had come to him last night. There was special protection for this family.

Laus and his family immediately entered Kyai’s house after being welcomed warmly. Once they sat down in the simple but clean living room and exchanged pleasantries about each other’s news, he immediately expressed the purpose of his visit today seriously.

"Pak Kyai, we have come to ask for protection and guidance," said Laus with a trembling voice. He then recounted everything that had happened, about Lina, about the ritual, about the threats they faced.

"Do not be afraid! Fortify yourselves with strong faith and piety," said Kyai firmly but reassuringly. "God willing, the evil that Lina planned will return to her. What she did is a grave sin and she will get her comeuppance."

"You have two special children, the eldest Lano and the youngest Liona. Although both of them can protect you with their abilities, your faith must remain strong. Never forget to pray five times a day because it can protect you from all evil that comes your way. In between your busy activities, don’t forget to recite zikr and surrender everything to Allah sincerely. If you have free time, try to read the Quran every day, even if it’s just one verse, so that your hearts are calm and you are protected from bad things that people with evil intentions may direct at you and your little family," Kyai added patiently while giving them some advice and telling them to surrender and entrust everything to Allah SWT, the Almighty.

After listening to the Kyai’s wise words for nearly an hour, the couple’s hearts felt more at peace and stronger. In their hearts, they sincerely vowed to practice the teachings the Kyai had shared so that their family would remain under His protection and be spared from all harm.
