Overlord Tamer: All My Pet Monsters Have God Potential-Chapter 57: Verified Source :)
Chapter 57: Verified Source :)
Yasmin put the lock of her blue hair behind her ears, her eyes on John as she nodded. "His control is commendable."
"But that alone is not sufficient, and you should know that," Tavros said, his voice indifferent. "Tamers would eventually acquire that level of control as long as they continue to stay in practice and train."
Azelis was speechless and shook her head. "If you are talking about his combat ability, then he indeed falls a bit short of Rakin and others who had received tailored combat training since young."
"But..." Azelis turned to look at John and smiled. "He will surpass them in that as well because his combat style is unrestrained and flexible. I am also wondering which type of weapon he would forge with Blood Alloy Sculpting."
Hearing "Blood Alloy Sculpting," Yasmin and Tavros were visibly startled.
"You let him pick that Soul Technique?" Tavros frowned and then smiled. "It looks like you want him to fail."
"Blood Allow Sculpting requires solid visualization alongside control...and whatever he makes can also result in a weak tool," Yasmin nodded. "That wasn’t wise, Azelis."
"We’ll see. He wanted it, and I trusted him. And so, I believe he’ll show it’s worth it," Azelis said before turning to the duo. "Anyway, you two can go now. No need to cast an evil eye on my apprentice."
"And don’t even think about playing tricks to do something stupid to John," Azelis’s eyes turned icy.
Tavros turned around and waved his hand as he casually spoke, "You think too much. Your apprentice can’t do much against Rakin and others without having properly trained Pet Monsters and a solid combat arsenal. Eight days are not enough, especially considering the Soul Technique you handed him."
Yasmin turned to Azelis and shook her head. "Whatever the case, I bid good luck to your apprentice."
Azelis stuck out her tongue at the back of these oldies and landed several meters away from John.
’He should be done soon...still, to progress this fast even in Bronze-stage nexus is wonderful,’ Azelis couldn’t help but grin.
She took out a badge and infused spirit energy, which acted like a mobile phone connecting to another person.
"I want a full course meal of top Bronze-rank Monsters’ meat and veggies. Don’t forget a bowl full of fruit."
*Grrr...*
John opened his eyes, but his ears had opened before Azelis made an order, causing his stomach to growl loudly.
"Is that for me, teacher Azelis?" John blinked.
"Of course, my dear apprentice," Azelis chuckled. "Eat well and rest. You must be tired of training from morning to night. I’ll be here for two days, so I’ll guide you in the first Geno Ability of your Monster Geno Art, and then we’ll go about training your Blood Allow Sculpting."
"Two days here? Awesome," John cheekily smiled. "Also, I am ready to evolve my Pymon. I went out last night, and I luckily met a mysterious person who could tell what my pets were. He even told me a recipe to evolve my Pymon, so I want to use it."
"What?" Azelis frowned. "You can’t trust random strangers like that."
"No, no," John shook his head. "The other day on the airship when we were returning, I heard a Silver-rank Tamer Aurelia of this sect had her Snow-Pawed Reaper Leopard evolve into a new evolution species with Emperor-rank potential."
"Aurelia’s Snow-Pawed Reaper Leopard evolved?" Azelis was stunned. She knew about that leopard who failed in evolution. Aurelia was desperate and tried an unauthentic recipe of evolution, and failed.
"Yeah," John nodded. "And she has been telling people that a mysterious person called Sage Kindred did that in Tamer’s Market. I think many people know about him by now, and I suspect the person I met was him because he addressed himself as Sage Kindred."
"He accurately told what Pet Monsters I had with a glance," John said with a cheeky grin. "He said I am a talented lad, and gave me a recipe as well as prophecy."
"Prophecy?" Azelis raised her eyebrows.
"Yeah, he said I would get an awesome Pet Monster if I went to the southeast, but he didn’t specify it," John said as he scratched his head. "So I guess I can just go to any random wilderness in the southeast and try my luck. Not now, of course."
"Hmm..." Azelis fell into a thoughtful state. "Sage Kindred, huh? It looks like I’ll have to find out more about this person. I’ll go and verify this news properly. Only then will I let you use the recipe. You wait for food and eat it."
"Got it."
Azelis left, and ten minutes after that, the food cart arrived with ten dishes and a few bowls.
"Enjoy," the middle-aged man said with a smile.
"Thank you," John said with a grin and rubbed his hand...and then he went to wash his hands before unveiling the dishes and started eating.
"Fuck.." John couldn’t help but moan at the deliciousness, especially after not eating for the whole day.
By the time he finished eating, Azelis returned, her expression still amazed and filled with lingering shock.
"It looks like the rumors were true," John said with a teasing chuckle.
"Mhm..." Azelis nodded, a bit dazed. "There’s even a video recording of him evolving three Monsters yesterday night."
Her eyes lit up. "If he told you the recipe, then let’s try it. Tell me, what resources do you need to evolve your Pymon?"
"I’d need three Silver-rank resources, and with this recipe, he’ll evolve and rank up both," John said and then listed the resources.
"Good. I’ll bring them to you right away, and then we’ll conduct the evolution."
Azelis left again.
"But wasn’t I supposed to sleep now?" John muttered as she left with a wry smile.
Well, he wasn’t really sleepy that much. The massive increase in his stats required him to practice physically to get used to it, so John got up and began practicing tai-chi as well as other moves he knew from Earth, getting the hang of his newfound powers.
Due to not getting used to such fast Speed and high Strength, he almost lost control a few times, but it wasn’t long before he stabilized himself and became fully in control.
It felt wonderful to feel this much power and be in control.
’I wonder how it would feel if I punched or slapped someone with my current power? Maybe I’ll go to the sect’s Arena tomorrow and fight a bit.’
