Obtaining Legendray Dragon Template At The Start As A Side-Character!-Chapter 34: Three Days Of Training VI
Reinh almost remembered what the content of the group phase of the Trial was in his past life. There were three group phases and three individual phases.
He planned to simulate two of the three group phases for these children so they could learn and become familiar with what exactly they had to do.
About the third phase, there was not enough time, and he also had no plan to waste time on it. He also wanted to see whether the training of these three days would have any results or not.
The first phase was to get the flag. He divided his group into five teams and put one commander for each. He himself would stand in the center and hold a flag in his hand.
All five groups had to try to take the flag from his hand. The group that succeeded would be the winner.
Of course, this was not exactly the same as the real content of the group phase of the Trial, but it was the closest. He increased the difficulty a little so that his group members could train better.
"I don’t need to participate, right?" Aron asked happily while standing beside him.
"You don’t need to. Go stand next to Mr. Cedrik," Reinh ordered him. Then, while holding the flag in his hand, he focused on the five groups.
Aron laughed happily and went to Cedrik, then sat on the ground beside him. Cedrik raised his eyebrows a little. He could not understand what Reinh was thinking to excuse this boy from training.
Of course, he was not supposed to understand. Reinh had other plans for Aron.
"Start." He looked at the commanders of all five groups and signaled that they could begin.
For now, each group would attack separately, and after that they would attack at the same time. The first attacking group was Aren’s group.
Aren stepped forward. Muscular body, a large wooden sword on his shoulder.
"Front line with me! Shields forward! Constant pressure!"
Nineteen people formed a half-circle formation behind him. Three with shields, the rest attackers.
With Aren’s shout, the group moved forward like a moving wall. Reinh did not even change his posture. It was like he did not care at all.
When the first shield user got close, the flag in Reinh’s hand moved.
The wooden pole of the flag hit the first person’s throat. His breath stopped and he was thrown backward.
Reinh half-turned, and the end of the pole hit the second person’s knee. A bone sound was heard.
The third person had not even attacked yet when a palm strike hit his chest and he slid on the ground.
Aren roared and brought his sword down from above.
Reinh only took one step to the side. Reinh’s leg hooked behind Aren’s leg—
Before he understood what happened, the tip of the flag was on his throat.
"Ah, I guess we had no chance." Aren took Reinh’s hand, stood up from the ground, and went aside with his group members.
"Can we really take the flag from him?"
"It is not about taking the flag. It is about learning."
"I guess it is our turn." Lioren stepped forward. From the start, he already knew they had no chance to win.
"Spread out. Make angles. Force him to turn." He could only make strategies so they could last longer than the other groups.
This group was smarter. One made a distraction, two came from behind, three from the left.
Reinh finally moved. With one look, he easily saw the weakness of their strategy.
He went directly to the weakest link. One hit to the stomach, one elbow to the jaw, a turn, and the flag pole moved in the air like a snake.
"Grab his lower side—" Lioren tried to give an order.
It was too late. Reinh threw the flag into the air, grabbed Lioren’s body, and pushed him into the path of two others. Three people fell together.
The flag returned to Reinh’s hand again.
"Analysis means nothing in front of absolute power," Reinh said while looking at him.
Lioren nodded in understanding and went aside with his group members.
Selen stepped forward. She held two wooden daggers in her hands. Her eyes were sharp and ready to attack.
"Everyone make distractions. I will take the flag."
The group did not attack directly. They made noise. Dust rose. Sounds increased. Selen disappeared.
From behind. Fast. Silent. She tried to attack, and the tip of her dagger got close to Reinh’s hand.
Tak.
Reinh, without looking, moved his elbow backward. The hit landed on Selen’s stomach. The air left her lungs.
She had not even fallen yet when her wrist was grabbed and, with a turn, she was slammed onto the ground.
The rest of the members jumped forward.
Reinh moved among them like a short storm. The hits were short, exact, with no extra movement.
Ten seconds later, no one was standing. Selen lay on the ground, staring at the sky.
"I expected more from you. Without absolute power, solo play does not work."
Selen coughed and went aside with her group, but she understood that Reinh was right.
Kael stood at the back. A wooden bow in his hand.
"Keep distance! Rain attacks!"
Wooden arrows flew. Reinh finally took one serious step.
He walked between the arrows. He caught two arrows in the air. He threw one back. The arrow hit Kael’s shoulder. He was shocked.
Before the second shot, Reinh was already in front of him.
The flag hit the bow and it broke. Reinh’s hand grabbed Kael’s collar.
He had nothing to say to this one and directly threw him aside, then signaled to his group members to go out.
"And now the last one," he murmured coldly.
Neria whispered, "Confuse him..."
Some people crawled forward and moved dust into the air. Reinh’s eyes closed.
The first strike went exactly where no one had moved yet.
The second, to the back, and the third, to the left.
It was like he knew where everyone was.
The dust cloud moved away. Neria was the last one. A light shield was in front of her.
Reinh got close. The tip of the flag touched the shield. The shield broke.
Neria sat on the ground, out of breath.
"What happened? How? This is impossible." She felt like she just saw a dream.
What exactly just happened?
