"I’ll... kill... you," Yohan mumbled, pressing down even harder.
He gritted his teeth, veins bulging across his face as rage twisted his expression.
"Sure about that?" Kai Lu asked with a smirk, his bloody teeth exposed.
He twisted his body sideways, forcing Yohan’s hands off him, then drove his elbow straight into Yohan’s face.
Yohan stumbled to the side—but recovered instantly, pushing himself back to his feet even before Kai Lu fully straightened up.
"Don’t take it to heart, Yohan. I’m sure she doesn’t mind me killing her. Look here." Kai Lu pointed at the hole in his chest.
The fatal wound beneath his jacket was impossible to miss.
"She tried to kill me earlier too, so I guess you could say we’re even now," he said lightly. "If she hadn’t missed my heart by just a little, maybe she’d still be alive right now."
He chuckled, his gaze locked onto Yohan.
"Funny thing, right?"
Yohan wiped the blood from his mouth, his sanity flickering back for a brief moment.
His eyes shifted to Jenna. He could still see her chest rising faintly.
She’s still breathing.
’That means I can still save her’
All he had to do was give her his healing elixir. As long as she was alive, her health would be restored.
"Seems like I underestimated you," Kai Lu said, pulling out Buck’s biscuit he had picked up earlier.
"Kai, what are you doing?!" the Chairman exclaimed. "You know it’s dangerous to take two different enhancements at the same time!"
Kai Lu scoffed. "I’m not scared of some stupid warning. Do you think I got this far by following rules?"
He tossed it into his mouth and ate it.
Within seconds, his body began to heat up, forcing him to tear off his jacket.
At first, it felt like his body was about to burst into flames, but soon he felt his energy surge as heat poured out of him.
"This is awesome! I feel unstoppable!" he laughed, spreading his arms wide.
Right now, Kai Lu was the only thing standing between Yohan and Jenna—but Yohan didn’t care anymore.
All he wanted was to reach her before it was too late.
"And where do you think you’re going?" Kai Lu’s hand dropped onto Yohan’s shoulder.
The heat from his hand burned against Yohan’s skin.
Yohan glanced at the hand, then back at Jenna lying on the floor while Chloe cried beside her. She could give up the ghost at any moment.

His mouth hung open as he tried to keep walking forward, almost mindlessly.
"Let go," he muttered.
Kai Lu smirked. "Make me."
Yohan grabbed his arm, just below the wrist.
"Okay."
CRACK.
The sound was sharp and merciless. His bone
He crushed it with nothing but sheer strength.
"Huh?"
Kai Lu stared blankly as Yohan simply walked past him.
He clutched his arm, dropping to his knees as agony ripped through his shattered bone.
Even with the pain-numbing effects of the cookie, the sudden damage was impossible to ignore.
But the shock came faster than the pain.
’He broke my arm just by grabbing it?!’
Kai Lu’s eyes widened.
’Was he always this strong?’
He forced himself to his feet and took out the rest of his cookie. He threw it inside his mouth and then forced his broken deformed hand back into shape.
It looked like a painful process but after he finished he was able to move his fingers freely.
’This would work for now but I have to finish this quickly and go see a doctor because I already accumulated too many injuries’

He wasn’t too worried seeing as Yohan didn’t even seem concerned about him.
He was bent over Jenna’s body.
He gently pulled out the knife and placed it by her side,
The blood that was flowing earlier had stopped like magic, so he immediately suspected that she had eaten from the other half of the pain-numbing cookie he had given her.
He let out a sigh of relief,
’No wonder her condition is very stable even after getting stabbed like that’
That means he didn’t have to worry too much.
’But why isn’t she waking up?’ he wondered as he took out his healing elixir and poured a bit inside her mouth.
"Chloe, could you help me look after her?" Yohan asked, gently stroking her shoulder.
She was clearly shaken up only managing a small nod.
By the time Yohan got up to his feet a circular blade was cutting through the air. It was a surprise attack from Kai Lu aimed directly at his throat.
Yohan only caught a glimpse of the blade before he leaned backwards and dodged the attack.
He could already tell something about him was different as he continued to dodge all of Kai Lu’s strikes.
It wasn’t just that he could predict his movements, this was something else.
He finally grew tired of dodging and caught Kai Lu’s hand midair. With his other free hand, he planted a very solid punch on his abdomen.
His fist sunk deep into his body, even with Kai Lu’s body having the same defense mechanism as Buck it didn’t matter.
His compressed muscles and sleek skin couldn’t withstand the force behind Yohan’s blow.
"Ahhk..." Kai Lu held his side as he collapsed to the ground.
"H-How?" He mumbled through the pain, his mouth foaming. He was certain Yohan wasn’t this strong when they fought before.
Kai Lu wasn’t the only one surprised, Freddie and his uncle were just as shocked.
"Are you seeing this?" Freddie asked.
"How... How is he doing all this?" The Chairman mumbled in disbelief.
For them it was even worse, they had just seen him struggle against Buck, but now he was dog walking Kai Lu who was under the influence of two different enhancement items.
The only person that wasn’t shocked by this was Yohan, because only he knew that for the first time he wasn’t trying to hold back.
He couldn’t even help himself at this point because he actually wanted to kill Kai Lu.
"I’ll make you pay for what you did to her,"
