Chapter 163: Secure The Walls

When Leo heard Baal’s advice, he prepared for another clash with the Devil King, who was stumbling around as its aura increased. He shook his head and sent mana to his fists while muttering. ’’Let’s show this thing who is the true powerhouse of Valoria.’’

Without waiting, he dashed forward so fast that it created a sonic boom as he appeared in front of the devil and pummelled its chest with dozens of California Smashes that sent shockwaves that sent everything flying.

He was cracking the enemy’s armor, but the devil laughed before blocking his punches and countering with a solid headbutt that sent him stumbling back. Pain shot through his body as the attacks continued.

Leo fought with everything he had, deflecting most of the strikes that rained down on him. But those that slipped through shattered his armor like glass, the pieces fading into the air as the blows landed.

Gritting his teeth, he summoned every ounce of strength and caught the Devil King’s fist mid-strike. Without hesitation, Leo unleashed a powerful Thunderbolt, sending a surge of electric force straight through the enemy.

The Devil King howled in agony, giving him the opening he needed. In a flash, he closed the distance and unleashed a fully charged Supernova Punch. The punch hit with the force of a celestial explosion, launching the Devil King across the battlefield.

He watched as the devil crashed into the ground with a deafening impact, slamming into a nearby mountain, which shattered and crumbled under the weight of the blow. Moments later, a horde of monsters appeared around him.

Leo smiled before summoning the twenty-one Demon King Knights, who circled him in a protective circle as the creatures lunged. The soldier’s weapons tore through skin and bone with ease.

Blood splattered everywhere as the knights slaughtered the monsters while dodging most of the attack. Whenever they got hit, a part of Leo’s mana would pour into them and heal them up so they could continue fighting.

Leo watched, his gaze unwavering, as his soldiers fought valiantly to hold back the horde, each of them giving their all. But then, his senses flared as the Devil King was climbing out of the crater, fury in its eyes.

Without hesitation, he vanished, appearing in front of his foe in a blink, his fist already cocked for another strike. He drove his fist into the Devil King’s chin with an explosive force, the impact ringing out like a thunderclap.

The resulting shockwave sent monsters flying in every direction, their bodies flung back by the sheer power of Leo’s blow. As the dust settled, the knights surged forward, their swords gleaming as they cut through the remaining creatures.

Moments later, the Devil King appeared in front of him with a smirk and struck him in the chest before lunging for Abaddon while screaming. ’’You traitor!’’

Leo quickly sent the knights back to the realm, so they’d be safe as he hit the ground with a sickening thud. The enemy then followed him and landed a few more attacks before he blocked it and returned the favor.

His fist crackled with raw mana that even hurt him. With a savage roar, he drove it into the devil’s stomach, the force of the blow sending shockwaves through the air and staggered the enemy.

Seconds later, the enemy retaliated with its attack, Leo ducked under the counter-swing, his body moving like a blur. In an instant, he surged upward, his fist connecting with the opponent’s jaw in a thunderous uppercut.

The earth itself seemed to shake as a boom reverberated across the battlefield, the enemy’s snarl growing even more feral with rage. But his anger only made his power flare like a sun and supercharged his body.

’Ignore the pain and continue fighting!’ he internally roared.

Leo’s eyes narrowed as he unleashed a rapid barrage of Supernova Punches, each one an explosion of energy aimed directly at the devil’s chest. Each strike left deep cracks in the beast’s armor, sending ripples of pain through its body.

However, the Devil King’s fury only grew. With a roar, it retaliated, claws slashing through the air, striking Leo with brutal force. Pain exploded through Leo’s body as the claws cut deep into his skin, but he refused to flinch.

Ignoring the searing agony, he gritted his teeth, pushing through the torrent of pain with relentless focus. His body was battered, bruised, and bloodied, yet his resolve still burned brighter.

The battle was far from over as they continued trading blows without getting the better of the other. Leo ducked under one claw swipe and struck the devil’s elbow, only to hear a loud snap, but the enemy attacked with his other hand while ignoring the pain.

Leo barely dodged in time, but the tip of the Devil King’s claws raked across his side, opening a deep gash. Blood spilled, staining the ground beneath him, but he gritted his teeth, ignoring the pain.’’

The mana isn’t healing the injuries quick enough,’’ he muttered while trying to get some space.

With a guttural roar, the devil swung a massive fist toward Leo’s head, and the force of it shattered the air like thunder. He barely blocked with his forearms, the impact sending shockwaves through his bones, but the punch still sent him flying back.

As he slammed into the ground, the earth cracked under him, his body feeling the full weight of the blow. But he was far from defeated. Shaking off the pain, he pushed himself back to his feet, blood dripping down his face, his armor battered and scorched.

The Devil King was already there, claws slashing like blades, leaving deep raking cuts across Leo’s chest. His muscles burned, his body bruised and battered, but his red eyes blazed with unyielding fire.

With a roar of his own, Leo launched himself forward, fists blazing with power. The enemy swung at him again, but this time he ducked in time, feeling the wind from the claws graze his skin.

He countered with a brutal knee to the gut that sent the devil stumbling back, but not for long. In a flash, the beast regained his balance and struck with a vicious elbow to his face, splitting his lip and sending him careening into the earth once more.

They were both drenched in sweat, blood mixing with the dirt and grime, their bodies scarred with fresh injuries. Leo’s heart thundered in his chest as he rose once more, eyes burning with fury.

With every ounce of power left in him, he charged. The Devil King matched him, roaring as they collided with a deafening crash, fists and claws flying. Their bodies were a mess of bloodied flesh, broken bones, and shredded armor, but neither would give in.

While Leo fought, the battle at the border fortress was underway as the Alliance came into range of the cannons. Astra ordered them to fire as Veladra, Bella, and Roxy got ready to cast their spells.

Explosions erupted across the grasslands and sent soldiers flying just as the red-skinned demon cast dozens of Mana Blasts into the horde of soldiers rushing toward the walls just as the cannons fired.

’’Secure the walls!’’ the Demon Queen shouted. ’’They will try to climb up any moment now.’’

Following that, the Demon soldiers stood atop the towering walls, their eyes locked onto the endless wave of Alliance troops surging toward them. With a sharp command, the air ignited with action.

Arrows rained down like a deadly storm, piercing through armor and flesh with merciless precision. Mages raised their hands, chanting in unison as torrents of fire, ice, and lightning erupted from the walls, crashing into the horde below. freewebnσvel.cѳm

Explosions rocked the battlefield, sending soldiers flying, their screams swallowed by the chaos. The battlefield trembled as the Alliance soldiers charged forward, their war cries echoing through the air.

Siege ladders were raised, their iron hooks digging into the towering walls of the Demon Queen’s fortress. With a deep, rumbling groan, the castle’s enchanted defenses roared to life.

Gargoyle statues perched along the ramparts suddenly moved, their stone wings unfurling as they dove, tearing through enemy ranks with razor-sharp claws. From the battlements, ballistas fired bolts the size of spears, skewering soldiers by the dozens.

Magic circles pulsed with crimson light before unleashing torrents of fire and lightning, reducing siege towers to smoldering ruins. Days passed by like this as the Alliance continued attacking.

Amid the chaos of battle, a thunderous explosion rocked the fortress as enemy artillery struck one of the towering bastions. The structure groaned under the impact, cracks spider-webbing across its stone surface before it gave way, crumbling into dust.

As the tower fell, it crashed against the wall, creating a breach—an opening the enemy seized without hesitation. Soldiers swarmed up the rubble, pouring onto the battlements like a relentless tide.

Seeing the imminent threat, Bella and Veladra stepped forward, standing as an unyielding barrier between their allies and the oncoming horde. As the enemies breached the walls and overwhelmed the defenders.
