NTR GACHA-Chapter 158: Not Dead But Injured
Chapter 158: Not Dead But Injured
’’You shall die here Demon King,’’ the devil commander mocked.
Leo chuckled darkly as his eyes glowed blood red, his body rapidly healing as the mana from the strange realm surged through him. With a surge of power, he hurled a fist into his enemy’s face.
’’I am the new Demon King, and you will not defeat me!’’ he exclaimed with a roar.
The impact echoing in a deafening boom. Leo watched as the devil crashed across the landscape before slamming into the side of a mountain. He chuckled when feeling the power flowing through his veins as he dashed forward.
As the enemy was climbing to his feet, but it was too late as he started punching the stronger monster with dozens of powerful punches that caused booms to echo out. Not long later, he started getting one over the commander.
He unleashed a Supernova Punch, his fist igniting with blinding energy as it slammed into the enemy’s chest. A cataclysmic explosion erupted upon impact, obliterating the creature in an instant.
The sheer force sent him hurtling across the battlefield as the devil was reduced to nothing but ash. He let out a breath of relief before slumping down as the exhaustion set in and the injuries finally took their toll.
Leo was resting up against a tree as he watched a horde of monsters and devils rushing toward him. Without waiting, he started casting Thunderbolts and Fireballs into them, causing explosions to erupt.
Flames and electricity killed hundreds of enemies, but he didn’t relent and continued spamming magic into the swarm. Ten minutes later, the battlefield was quiet as far as he could see bodies littered the ground.
Following that, Leo pulled out some blankets, crawled under the tree to hide from the outside world, and then fell asleep after getting comfortable. While sleeping, thousands of devils appeared on the battlefield.
They searched high and low, but the earth-toned cover concealed him flawlessly. Perfectly camouflaged, he remained hidden, using the precious time to recover and regain his strength.
Hours passed as Leo slept and the devils were going wild looking for him, but their best trackers couldn’t find him. By the time he woke up, he realized what was going on and found it amusing.
He pulled out some food and ale before relaxing some more. Thanks to his spot, he could see the army camped outside the destroyed fortress, causing him to think. ’Maybe I could attack them and take out their leaders. That would be fun.’
Following that, Leo climbed out of the tree and killed a group of devils that was patrolling the area. Once they were done, he continued traveling around the area slaughtering any enemies he came across.
’I’ll check on my level tonight. It should have increased,’ he mused while using Fireball to turn an armored devil into cooked meat. freeωebnovēl.c૦m
Leo summoned a massive Thunderbolt, pouring so much mana into it that his own body began to burn from the sheer intensity. Gritting his teeth, he unleashed the crackling storm of energy, sending it hurtling toward the enemy army gathered outside the fortress.
The moment it struck the ground, a deafening explosion erupted, lightning ripping through the battlefield in a blinding surge of destruction. The sky itself seemed to roar in response as chaos consumed the enemy ranks.
A storm descended on the shocked devil as he dashed in and started killing more creatures while looking for the enemy commanders. Ten minutes later, Leo found a man and a woman standing there staring at him with black eyes.
’These are the commanders,’ he thought as his smile grew wider.
The male devil went to speak but Leo vanished and appeared in front of them while hitting them with a California Smash that sent the creatures crashing into the fortress walls, which brought it down.
’Not dead but injured,’ he thought with glowing red eyes.
Moments later, the woman appeared while letting out a wild scream as she rushed toward him and started attacking. Leo dodged all the attacks before hitting her with a devastating Supernova Punch.
A deafening explosion shattered the air, ripping through the scene as the man materialized, landing a fortunate punch on Leo’s chin. His lips curled into a smirk, amusement flickering in his eyes.
Without a second thought, he unleashed a Thunderbolt of unimaginable power, the crackling energy surging through the air and blasting the devil into oblivion. The force of the strike reduced him to nothing but smoldering ash.
Following that, Leo leveled the fortress and killed the remaining devils before continuing until reaching a tunnel that led to a lower floor. While standing at the entrance, he looked down and knew there were powerful enemies there.
’’Let’s refresh myself,’’ he muttered as dismissed it.
Moments later, the chilly breeze brushed against his skin, which made him smile before re-summoning the armor just as he stepped on the staircase that led to the next floor and the next batch of enemies.
Days passed as Leo relentlessly hunted down every devil he could sense, his determination unwavering. But then, he discovered that a Devil General was blocking his path to the king, a challenge that piqued his interest.
When the enemy commander revealed that he would have to defeat ten others before facing the king, Leo’s patience snapped.
’’Ten?’’ he muttered, his irritation flaring. ’’How tedious.’’
Without wasting another moment, he incinerated the man who had to give him such frustrating news, his flames turning the traitor to ash in an instant. With no other choice, Leo pressed on, each step bringing him closer to his inevitable confrontation with the king.

While Leo was causing chaos in the devil realm, it already had a ripple effect on Valoria, causing the devil king to recall everyone. When Astra and Veladra heard this, they were shocked.
The red-skinned woman commented with a curious tone. ’’Do you think master is the cause behind it?’’
’’I don’t doubt it Vel,’’ the Demon Queen answered while going through some paperwork. ’’Only Leo can fight devils without worrying about their taint like normal warriors.’’
Veladra nodded just as a general entered the room, saluting Astra before speaking with urgency. ’’The fortress is complete, and the enemy has been spotted in the distance.’’
Both women’s eyes widened at the news. Without hesitation, the white-haired woman stood, her voice steely and commanding. ’’Prepare the imperial army. We’ll march to the castle and hold the line until the king returns.’’
The general agreed with a nod as Veladra stood up and spoke with a big smile. ’’I’ll go ready, my soldiers. They’ve been dying to fight.’’
Astra giggled. ’’Yes, you can defend the wall against the first attack,’’ she said, which made the red-skinned woman’s excitement to surge.
With that, the two women exited the castle, their steps resolute. Roxy, Luna, and Bella, who greeted them with warm smiles, soon joined them. Astra returned the gesture before asking them three. ’’Would you like to come help us?’’
They agreed, and the five women climbed into a nearby carriage, ready for the march ahead. Surrounding them were demon soldiers, their ominous presence casting a heavy air over the scene.
Alongside them were Leo’s knights, their stoic faces betraying little emotion. The knights spoke little to anyone except the women, their disdain for the men evident as they pointedly snubbed them with cold indifference.
When Veladra saw this, she questioned. ’’Why are they ignoring the men? Did Leo say something?’’
Roxy shook her head before replying. ’’If I remember correctly, they hate all other men apart from Leo.’’
’’Interesting,’’ the red-skinned woman answered as the carriage fell into a peaceful quiet as they traveled along the road.
After half an hour of silence, Bella asked in a worried voice. ’’When will the Alliance attack?’’
The Demon Queen glanced at the redhead as she replied. ’’I’d say a week or two. They’re gathering their forces on the other side of the river.’’
’’Are they coming from the other crossing?’’ Veladra asked while sharpening a sword that appeared out of nowhere.
’’According to the scouts, smaller armies are heading to the two other routes into the empire,’’ Astra revealed, her gaze unwavering. ’’But the wildlife should take care of them.’’
She smirked slightly, her amusement clear. ’’Leo caused the monsters to guard the border after slaughtering too many of them and then demanding their loyalty. It’s quite amusing, really.’’
The image of Leo forcing the monsters to protect the borders added a dark humor to the situation, but Astra’s expression remained unyielding. ’’We were lucky he did that, as we’re outnumbered by the Alliance. I just hope he will get back in time.’’
Everyone agreed with a nod as the journey to the new border castle that would hold back the enemy armies that were on the way to the Demon Empire to try to take down Leo and conquer the land.
