Leo was standing on a balcony that overlooked the demon capital. He was thinking about his night with the goddess, which put him a good mood. While relaxing, Astra and Veladra appeared with worried expressions.

’’What’s wrong?’’ he questioned.

’’The Alliance has sent an army north who are currently raiding the land,’’ Astra revealed. ’’And our troops aren’t ready to move yet.’’

He effortlessly dodged their strikes, sidestepping a deadly lunge from a poisoned knife that whizzed past him. Without hesitation, he spun and kicked the woman squarely in the stomach.

The force of the blow sent her hurtling into the air, her body flipping uncontrollably as the others watched in stunned disbelief. In an instant, he shot upwards, his speed unmatched as he went to attack.

He quickly landed a Supernova Punch that sent the leader crashing across the ground before slamming into the fortress walls. Seconds after that, Leo watched as a swarm of demon soldiers rushed out and jumped on the injured enemy.

Following that, they rushed toward the remaining demi-humans and killed them, as they couldn’t fight back. While standing there, he sensed Astra flying toward him, causing his eyebrow to raise.

’What is she doing here?’ he mused.

The beautiful Demon Queen landed in front of him with a big smile while she watched her soldiers butchering the enemy soldiers. He approached the pale-skinned woman and spoke, ’’What brings you here?’’

’’I wanted to reward you right now,’’ she responded. ’’Seeing you fighting turned me on and are you not my husband?’’

Leo’s smile grew wider. ’’Yes I am, and I still need to claim you for myself. Let’s get a room in the fortress while they clean up the surroundings,’’ he suggested.

Her cheek went bright red, but she nodded in agreement. Following that, a demon commander approach before kneeling as he spoke, ’’Come this way my king and queen. We have the perfect room for you both to relax in.’’

They followed the man as Astra looked confused, causing him to question, ’’What’s wrong?’’

’’The border demons have shown no respect to the royal family in years,’’ she revealed with a surprised expression. ’’Even my father had problems taming them, but here they are looking at you with sparkling eyes.’’

Leo chuckled when hearing that before explaining, ’’It’s only because they saw me kill those powerful demi-humans with ease. If I was weak, I bet some of them would try to kill me, and that includes you.’’

They started laughing as they stepped through the now opened gate. Leo watched as demons looted the dead before burying them. The captors rounded up the survivors and planned to sell them into slavery.

The sight of the leader falling, combined with Leo’s commanding presence, caused the remaining demons to pause in stunned silence. His gaze hardened as he ordered, ’’Let the people go.’’

The demons hesitated, clearly surprised by the unexpected mercy, but after a tense moment, they complied, releasing the captives. Once the enemies vanished from the fort, Leo gathered his thoughts and addressed his soldiers.

Astra nodded in agreement, her smile steady and confident. With a graceful motion, she led Leo and the rest of the group through the fortress, her presence commanding as they made their way toward the top.

As they reached the highest level, the commander ushered them into a vast room, an entire floor reserved for their use. With a respectful nod, the man left them alone, giving the two of them much-needed space.

Leo relaxed, taking a moment to appreciate the quiet after the chaos of battle. His gaze drifted over the room before landing on Astra, who was already in the process of making tea by walking toward the kitchen.

The warm, inviting aroma filled the air, and for a moment, the weight of their mission seemed to fade. Her movements were methodical and calm, which was peaceful. Leo couldn’t help but watch, intrigued by the ease with which she handled herself.

The Demon Queen had a quiet elegance that drew him in, and the simple act of brewing tea caught his attention more than he expected. Once Astra was done, she joined him at the table while pouring a cup.

Leo chuckled when hearing this before taking a sip of the tangy tea, which was delicious and he soon felt the mana rushing through his body. This caused Astra to comment with a big smile, ’’Looks like you like it master, now what’s the plan?’’

’Should I head south or continue to get stronger?’ he mused. ’Maybe I can capture more monsters as the Alliance will have a surprise in store for me.’

’’I will go tamed more monsters to build up an army while the girls train and you oversee the empire,’’ Leo replied while pulling out some food.

He offered some to the white-haired woman, who accepted with a big smile. The two of them started eating while admiring the afternoon sky.
