Noble Pampering: Demon CEO's Relentless Entanglement-Chapter 727 - 723: She Has More Than One Sugar Daddy
"By the way, Eva," Sunny seemed to remember something, "did you mention what I asked you to tell Sophie Smith last time?"
"Mention what?" Clearly, Eva Miller hadn’t taken Sunny’s words to heart.
"You silly girl!" Sunny couldn’t help but complain a bit, "I meant asking Sophie to return to the entertainment industry."
A few years ago, Sunny was eager to promote Sophie. With her good looks, excellent acting skills, and such a big supporter like Asher Land behind her, she could easily become famous across the country if she wanted. However, Sophie naturally preferred a quiet life and didn’t want to get too involved in the entertainment industry’s drama, so she remained neither hot nor cold.
"Sister Sunny, Sophie probably won’t agree," Eva said somewhat helplessly. In college, her dream was to become a big star with Sophie, basking in the applause. But now, Sophie’s mind was long away from the entertainment scene.
"Regardless, you should still bring it up. Living alone and raising a child isn’t easy; she needs to earn some milk money, right?"
"Don’t worry yourself over that," Eva chuckled lightly, "even if she doesn’t go out to work, she still has money. She doesn’t rely on just President Land."
Eva spoke freely, but she meant no harm.
In recent years, Nolan Davis had been exceptionally caring towards Sophie. In Eva’s view, Nolan’s kindness to Sophie seemed to match, if not surpass, that of Asher Land.
Still, Eva knew that no matter how much better Nolan treated Sophie than Asher, Sophie’s heart would never belong to him.
...
A red Bentley stopped at the bustling school entrance, and a tall woman stepped out of the car.
The woman was wearing a simple white shirt and light-colored jeans. Even in flat shoes, her legs were still slender and straight.
A pair of sunglasses covered most of her face. She looked around, and seeing no one recognizing her, she was relieved as she walked towards the campus.
In a brightly colored classroom, a dozen children were intently engaged in a craft class.
"Miss Smith, are you here to pick up Alexander?" The kindergarten teacher saw a silhouette outside the window and came out.
Sophie removed her sunglasses, and her delicate, charming face was striking in the sunlight, so beautiful it was hard to look away.
"Yes, Teacher Lee, something came up at home today, so I wanted to pick up Alexander early, if that’s okay..."
"Of course." Even before Sophie finished speaking, Teacher Lee readily agreed, "Alexander is so smart; he’s already completed his craft assignment, so leaving early won’t affect anything."
Teacher Lee went into the classroom and brought Alexander out. When Alexander saw Sophie, he blinked his eyes and gave a cute smile.
"Mommy, you’re so early today."
"Granny Garcia said she wanted to see you and made a lot of delicious food. She asked me to bring you over." Sophie affectionately looked at the innocent child in front of her, smiling gently.
"That’s great, I miss Granny Garcia too," Alexander climbed into the car and then deliberately sat upright, always trying to act grown-up despite his young age.
"Buckle your seatbelt," Sophie reminded him, and he obediently complied.
Seeing Sophie concentrating on driving, Alexander had something he wanted to say, but he swallowed it back.
