Lately, Asher Land hadn’t been to the restaurant in the West Garden; he usually had the kitchen send meals directly to him. Why did the old man suddenly have the whim to call him over today?

"It concerns Miss Smith." Nolan Davis spoke unhurriedly. After all, he’d already discussed wanting Sophie Smith with Nathan Land beforehand, so there was no need to hide it now.
