For a moment, her hand holding the phone was trembling, her face pale.

Liam Spencer saw this and quickly took the phone from her hand, asking, "Ella Turner, what happened?"

"Principal, my brother had an accident, a very serious car accident. He’s in the hospital undergoing emergency treatment now." Ella Turner stood alone at the rescue room door, crying heartbreakingly. In S City, Maya was her only good friend. Besides her, she didn’t know who else she could call.

Liam looked at her trembling form and gripped her hand tighter, taking a deep breath and calmly said, "A car accident. We’re heading to the hospital now."

"Liam, I have a very bad feeling." Maya’s heart inexplicably grew uneasy again, even more so than in the restaurant.

This feeling only arose when her mother passed away. To her, Ella and Ethan were already the most important people, so this feeling greatly unsettled her.

At the rescue room door, hearing Maya’s voice, Ella immediately turned around and rushed towards Maya, the two girls hugging and crying bitterly.

"BOSS." Elijah looked at the two girls crying bitterly, feeling distressed himself, and quickly greeted Liam.

Liam glanced at Maya and Ella, his brows furrowed tightly, staring at Elijah and asking, "Have you clarified the situation?"

"At 8:23, Ethan was in a car accident on a flyover, a three-car collision, his car was in the middle, surrounded by medium-sized refrigerated trucks. He had a colleague with him, the situation isn’t optimistic, perhaps..." Elijah glanced at Ella, hesitating to continue.

"Surrounded by refrigerated trucks?" Liam listened to the report, frowning further.

"Yes! The two trucks belonged to the same company, carrying yogurt, en route for delivery."

"Alright! Ella is emotionally unstable, handle the hospital matters," Liam said.

"Yes, BOSS."

After the conversation with Elijah, Liam looked at the two girls again, seeing Maya comforting Ella by wiping her tears.

Watching the scene, Liam couldn’t shake the feeling that something was amiss. Ethan was previously Lillian Morris’s translation assistant, now Old Master Morris’s translation assistant. From an analysis of his character, Ethan was a calm and stable person. The likelihood of a car accident happening to him seemed minimal.

But the details must wait until he comes out of the rescue room to inquire.

Suddenly, Liam recalled something and turned to instruct Elijah, "Request the video footage from the traffic police during the accident."

"BOSS, it’s already been checked. There were no cameras at the accident location."

"Understood."

This made Liam feel that things were getting increasingly suspicious, yet he couldn’t pinpoint what was wrong. He looked at Maya and Ella again, thinking perhaps he was overthinking it, as car accidents happen every day, they are not unusual.

At the rescue room door, Maya held Ella tightly, standing with her at the door while Liam and Elijah stood by the opposite wall, waiting for results with them.

At 1 AM, the rescue room light finally went out, and Maya suddenly pushed Ella hard, saying, "Ella, Ethan’s coming out, he won’t be in trouble."

Upon hearing Maya’s reminder, Ella’s eyes widened, she immediately turned around, looking towards the rescue room doors.

At this moment, the electric doors slowly opened, four or five doctors came out, gently pulling off the masks on their faces, their expressions heavy.
