Liam Spencer lay on his side and gently pulled Maya Spencer into his embrace, his large hand resting on her chin, softly stroking her, urging her to fall asleep quickly.

Maya nestled in his arms, feeling his tenderness, and soon closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Liam watched the girl sleeping in his arms, mischievously moved a bit, teasing her.

However, Maya immediately furrowed her little eyebrows.

Seeing this, Liam immediately stopped his antics, and placed a gentle kiss on her face, holding her as they fell asleep.

When the two woke from their dreams, it was already the next morning.

As Maya slowly opened her eyes, she found herself facing Liam, lazily nestled in his embrace.

She looked at the man still beside her, a particularly sweet smile curving at her lips, then lifted her arms to hug his neck, snuggling deeper into his embrace.

Feeling the girl’s affection, Liam held her tighter and teased her by whispering in her ear.

"Hehehe..." Maya let out a few silly laughs when tickled.

She thought to herself how wonderful it was to open her eyes and see him.

At this moment, Liam’s phone rang. Holding Maya with his left hand, he retrieved the phone from under the pillow with his right hand, discovering it was his grandfather calling.

Maya saw him suddenly frown, lifted her head, and asked, "Who is it?"

"Grandfather."

Hearing it was Old Master Spencer calling, Maya hurriedly pushed Liam away and whispered, "Answer it."

Then Liam threw off the blanket, grabbed the phone, and walked to the floor-to-ceiling window to answer the call.

After a brief exchange of words, they hung up, and Liam lay back in bed, pulling Maya into his arms again.

Maya asked, "What did grandfather say?"

Maya suspected if the old man was urging for marriage again, since every time he contacted Liam, it was basically for that reason, and now their relationship was heating up, he must be urging them again.

Liam looked at the girl’s clever eyes, nipped her nose, and asked, "What do you want grandfather to say?"

"Anyway, every time he just pushes for marriage, there’s nothing else," Maya replied nonchalantly.

"Maya, do you want to marry your third brother?" Liam cupped her face, pressing his lips to hers as he asked.

Maya looked at the man with his serious expression, and pursed her lips, giggling secretly.

She hadn’t realized that when marriage was mentioned again, she wasn’t the least bit repulsed, but rather quite happy.

Liam saw her silly smile and didn’t press the question. He feared she’d react negatively, so he patted her and said, "Get up, accompany me to the other villa."

On the bed, Maya watched Liam suddenly get up, noticing he didn’t mind the previous question, she couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed.

But she quickly recovered, guessing that Liam was likely afraid she’d say no, so he didn’t wait for her answer.

With this in mind, Maya didn’t feel upset anymore, and immediately got up to change clothes, following him to the villa.

In the car, Liam had many phone calls, leaving no extra time to chat with Maya. Maya didn’t mind, sitting quietly in the passenger seat listening to him busily.

"Not being around for a few days, quite a few people wanting to talk to me." After finishing another call, Liam rubbed Maya’s head, explaining.

"It’s okay." Maya smiled at him.

"Maya is becoming more and more well-behaved." Liam liked it when she didn’t argue with him.

"That’s because you haven’t annoyed me; you’ll see how fierce I can be if you do."

The two chatted casually; Liam increasingly enjoyed this kind of conversation with her. He had never spoken so much in his life, but being with Maya made him want to say something to her, even if it was just small gossip, trivial chatter, he felt happy.

He looked at the girl’s playful appearance, his right hand kept on her chin, kneading, he liked her soft and tender touch.

Maya felt his affection for her, suddenly grasped his big hand, turned sideways and sat, seriously looking at him, "Third brother, you still haven’t proposed to me."

In an instant, Liam was stunned, his eyes widening, staring fixedly at Maya, immediately pressing the brake and stopping the car in the middle of the road.

Seeing him suddenly stop the car, Maya quickly released his big hand, and hurriedly said, "I’m joking! Just kidding! Don’t get excited."

Maya thought Liam was dissatisfied with her request and thus was startled by her.

"Pfft..." In the driver’s seat, Liam watched the girl’s embarrassed expression and suddenly laughed.

After the passionate kiss, he earnestly said, "Maya, your third brother will keep proposing until you’re satisfied."

Liam’s promise made Maya beam with joy; she bit her lip, holding back a laugh, cradling her face with her left hand, pretending to be calm, before saying, "Drive, drive!" Her words were filled with laughter.
