No Substitutes for the Bigshots' Dream Girl Anymore!-Chapter 33: Being Intercepted
She stood at the classroom door, the sun shining from behind her, capturing everyone’s attention almost instantly as she appeared.
It’s important to remember that the old Hannah Winter, with her mind exclusively focused on George River, would never show up for such an elective. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
For a moment, everyone started whispering, and those who knew that Jenny King shared a dorm with Hannah started asking her about the situation.
Watching Hannah’s face that had always made her jealous, added to the grudges she held from the day before, Jenny didn’t plan to say anything nice. "How could she be? She moved back to the dormitory the day before yesterday, because she was abandoned after being played around with," she said, "She is nothing more than a cast-off shoe."
"Oh my, really?" A gossipy girl seemed somewhat incredulous, glancing at Hannah who was standing in the far corner, "She doesn’t seem to be that kind of person."
"What do you know!" exclaimed Jenny, "People aren’t always what they appear to be. Guess what I encountered last month when I went to the hospital for a checkup?"
The girl was curious, "What happened?"
Jenny King: "I saw her walking out of the gynecology department, holding her stomach."
Without needing Jenny to say much more, the girl had already drawn her own ten thousand-word long conclusion and was expressing both disgust and disbelief as she looked at Hannah in the corner.
Who could have thought that their class would produce such a person?
A black sheep!
By Jenny’s words alone, the girls’ view of Hannah had changed, perhaps because it was easier for jealousy to arise between girls.
Several girls did not shy away from looking at Hannah with strange glances, while the boys in the class seemed interested in Hannah’s arrival.
After all, who wouldn’t want to look more at an attractive person, especially in a physique class where the clothing accentuates one’s figure?
After demonstrating the last move, the physique teacher stood up straight, "Alright, today’s class has ended. Please remember to review today’s lesson in your free time, there will be an evaluation next week."
Having said that, the teacher picked up his water bottle and left the classroom.
Only after the teacher had left did the classroom gradually become lively again, with everyone forming small groups, chatting, and glancing at Hannah, who was in the corner.
Hannah didn’t plan to waste time arguing with these people, she packed her things and directly left the classroom.
But just after she had walked away for a few steps, some boys followed her and blocked her way.
"Can I help with something?" Hannah asked, tucking her hands into the pockets of her jacket and lazily looking up at the boys in front of her.
The girl standing in front of them was fair-skinned, unadorned, Sweat wetting a few strands of her loose hair on her forehead, her eyes showing indifference, but even so, her beauty was so breathtaking that it was hard to look away from her.
The boys were practically transfixed.
Indeed, the beauty of the drama school, stoic and stunningly beautiful, lived up to her name.
While she may indeed be wooden, her beauty was more than just authentic.
Ethan Evans, the leader of the boys, was a bit restless. He brushed up his front bangs, "Ms. Winter, I was wondering if you have some time tonight. I didn’t understand some of the key points the teacher mentioned in class, and I wanted to ask for your help."
Having said this, Ethan flashed what he believed to be his most charming smile.
While Ethan wasn’t exactly the most handsome guy in the drama school, his symmetrical facial features and playful charisma when he smiled aligned perfectly with some girls’ fantasy of a roguish boy.
In school, he had attracted many girls, but his standards were high. He wasn’t interested in any of the girls that were simply pretty, instead, he had set his sights on Hannah Winter, the most delicate and beautiful girl in the school.
