No Substitutes for the Bigshots' Dream Girl Anymore!-Chapter 32: Counterattack
Her footsteps were light, but even so, the sound of high heels tapping against the ground echoed throughout the room, as if pounding beside the ear.
Hannah was silent, raising her hand.
Jenny instinctively jerked her neck back.
Hannah only chuckled softly, playing with the toothbrush Jenny had tossed back into the cup. "Just got the wrong one?"
Jenny couldn’t help stepping back, leaning against the cold tile behind her.
Feeling the chill seeping in from her fingertips, she couldn’t help but shake her voice, but she still projected an air of pretense. "There are so many people’s belongings here, is it strange to make a mistake? This trash, I hate touching your stuff because it disgusts me!"
Hannah didn’t respond, her gaze shifting from Jenny’s face to her hand. With a light toss, she precisely throws the toothbrush into the trash bin behind Jenny.
"Things touched by you also disgust me." She smiled faintly, her voice soft yet frosty.
Jenny was immediately angered, throwing the towel in her hand on the ground, seizing Hannah’s hand. "Hannah Winter, are you instigating this?"
Hannah: "Yes, and you even know it, so why ask?"
Jenny was furious. "Stop pretending, I know exactly what you are!"
Hannah snorted and yanked her hand away. She swept up Jenny’s rinse cup, kicked open the toilet door, and passed her the water she scooped from the toilet. "I see your eyes aren’t great. I’ve got the water for you, brush your teeth."
"Hannah Winter!" Seeing the cup of water in front of her, Jenny almost vomited, especially at the sight of Hannah’s smirk, shaking in anger.
She raised her hand to slap Hannah, but before her hand could even touch her face, her wrist was caught, then she was drenched from head to toe.
Jenny stood staring in disbelief at the person in front of her, her eyes threatening to devour Hannah. Through gritted teeth, she spat out each word: "Hannah! Winter!"
"Jeez, you have a bad mouth, you’d better brush your teeth right now." Hannah frowned, waving a dismissive hand as if Jenny was infected with a horrible stench.
Then, completely ignoring the furious Jenny, Hannah washed her hands and left the balcony.
As the balcony door closed and Jenny took a shower, you can hear her cursing from behind the two doors.
Hannah came out to see that May Hoffman was sitting on the bed, watching her uneasily.
Hannah waved at her and smiled.
May just tugged at her mouth awkwardly and ran back to her own bed, drawing up the curtains.
By the time Jenny has taken three showers, scrubbed herself until she was red, and has come out of the toilet, the dormitory lights were turned off. Although she was eager to settle the score with Hannah, she knew now was not the time.
All she could do was to kick Hannah’s bed in frustration. However, the bed didn’t move, and instead, she stubbed her toes. In the end, she had to hobble back to her bed.
It was early the next day and they had a physical education class. Hannah, for once, appeared at the classroom door.
She was dressed in the uniform, with a ribbon tied around her waist, showing off her perfect waistline. With a bare face and hair casually tied up at the back.
