Chapter 1846: Chapter 1846: Hayes Edwards Extras (3)

All he had in his mind was one voiceโ€”he! Hates her! ๐•—๐—ฟ๐•–๐ž๐ฐ๐—ฒ๐•“๐ง๐• ๐•ง๐—ฒ๐ฅ.๐šŒ๐จ๐š–

As a child, Hayes Edwards really disliked Grace Winter.

Hated that she always followed him, and hated others saying she was his sister.

"I donโ€™t have a sister! Iโ€™m the only child in my family!" Hayes didnโ€™t know how many times he had explained this to others, his eyebrows furrowed into a small wave.

All the kids in the neighborhood went to the same kindergarten, so everyone often saw Grace trailing behind Hayes, like a little tail.

Couldnโ€™t shake her off.

"You say sheโ€™s not your sister, then why does she always follow you?" The one speaking was a little boy with a round belly, everyone called him Little Chubby.

Little Chubby was in the senior class, just like Hayes.

Grace was three years old, a junior class kid, but she had been at Rainbow Candy Kindergarten longer than Hayes.

Hayes was getting impatient with the questioning, "How do I know why she always follows me, anyway sheโ€™s not my sister, and I donโ€™t like her!"

It was Little Chubbyโ€™s first time seeing Hayes lose his temper.

At kindergarten, Hayes was like a little prince, delicate and pretty, like a little girl, but when he got angry, he was fierce.

Little Chubby scratched his head, "Why donโ€™t you like her? I think Grace is really pretty."

"If you like her, go play with her, just donโ€™t drag me into it!" Hayes was really annoyed that others always associated him with Grace.

But there was no choice, his mom and Graceโ€™s mom were very close, often instructing him to take care of Grace at kindergarten.

He didnโ€™t understand, what was there to take care of, itโ€™s not like sheโ€™s just a three-year-old!

No wait, Grace actually was really just three.

What did that have to do with him! He was just a five-year-old kid too!

Hayes sat irritably on the other side of the slide, where it was hard to be spotted.

"Hayes Edwards!"

It was Graceโ€™s voice.

As soon as Hayes heard it, he couldnโ€™t stand it, as if no matter where he hid, Grace could find him.

Sure enough, in the next second, Graceโ€™s little head with braids peeked out from behind the colorful plastic panels, "Hayes Edwards, are you sitting here waiting for me?"

Definitely not!

He was sitting here to hide from her!

But before Hayes could say anything, Grace had already sat beside him.

She was still holding that doll with a grin, which didnโ€™t look very new anymore. Once, Hayes heard his mom and Graceโ€™s mom talking, saying that Graceโ€™s doll had been with her since full moon.

She always took it with her, even to the bathroom and shower. Once Father Winter secretly hid it to stop her from relying on it so much, but who knew she cried so hard she could barely breathe.

Father Winter was so scared, he quickly took the doll out.

Mother Winter could only comfort herself, hoping sheโ€™d grow out of it with age.

So for the past three years, Grace was never without the doll.

Hayes thought she was childish, and disliked her even more, "Why are you always following me, donโ€™t you have anything else to do?"

Grace tilted her head, as if slowly processing what Hayes said.

So slow like a little fool.

Hayes thought.

He just wanted to stand up, when he felt his clothes being tugged.

"Hayes Edwards, I brought candy for you."

Grace smiled sweetly, opening her hand to reveal a few rainbow candies, their shells losing color.
