Chapter 175: Chapter 175: A Minor Injury, No Need for Elixirs!

Seeing his master practically ready to abandon him for Ning Xuan, Mo Wu’s excitement vanished.

The voice inside him immediately spoke up. "Relax, what hasn’t that old master of yours seen? Besides, I can’t get out right now... *cough cough*... I mean, I *won’t* come out. You’re still here, aren’t you? Just take what he has!"

Hearing this, Mo Wu breathed a sigh of relief. His aura intensified as he looked at Ning Xuan, taunting, "Too scared?"

Ning Xuan didn’t say a word. He simply took a step forward, answering with his actions. He had just detected the entity inside Mo Wu’s body and knew it had also sensed the anomaly within his own.

It discovered one of my Divine Veins!

As his heart clenched, Ning Xuan felt a mix of relief and caution.

Thankfully, I only used the Qilin Divine Meridian. If I’d revealed any more, that thing might have acted on its own. There’s always someone stronger, a higher heaven beyond the heavens. I’ll have to be more careful about using my Divine Veins until I’m powerful enough.

However, the fact that this Mo Wu was suppressing his Cultivation Realm to its absolute limit presented a perfect opportunity. Ning Xuan’s excitement surged once more.

The moment Ning Xuan took that step, Mo Wu let out a low roar from across the way. "Take this!"

BOOM!

His punch thundered through the air. It was a straightforward strike, devoid of any fancy techniques and relying purely on physical strength, yet it packed enough power to easily kill an average practitioner at the fifth layer of the Heavenly Realm.

Ning Xuan’s eyes lit up.

This is the kind of opponent I need!

BANG!

He threw an equally direct punch in response.

The two fists collided, and the void seemed to shatter like a boulder dropped into a placid lake. A violent tremor rocked the air, sending ripples spreading in every direction.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

The ripples shattered the space around them as they expanded, their power devastating and shocking to behold.

Both men stumbled back three steps. The difference was that Ning Xuan’s body remained as steady as a mountain from start to finish, while Mo Wu’s shoulder trembled slightly.

The Mo Family martial artists’ eyes went wide. In a contest of pure physical strength at the same Realm, even their Young Master—the number one prodigy of the Mo Family—was half a step weaker than Mo Wu! Yet now, Mo Wu was at a slight disadvantage.

This Ning Xuan is terrifying!

"Hahaha, excellent! *This* is the kind of opponent I need!" Mo Wu, not the least bit discouraged, grew even more excited, his body rumbling with power.

Element Force surged wildly through him as his muscles pulsed at a terrifying rate. Beneath his skin, the bulging veins looked like tunnels for a frenzied, fiery serpent of energy searching for a way out.

After the initial test of physical strength, Mo Wu planned to use a punch of pure, refined Element Force to prove his superiority. He would make Ning Xuan understand that at the same Realm, he was invincible!

The surge of Mo Wu’s Element Force was undeniably frightening; the entity’s methods were formidable. Against this punch, any other opponent—not just one at the fifth layer, but even a peak cultivator at the twelfth floor of the Heavenly Realm—would have been utterly outmatched.

Unfortunately for him, he was facing Ning Xuan.

Facing Mo Wu’s incoming fist, Ning Xuan stepped forward and threw another punch of his own, seemingly no different from the last.

"You’re asking to die..." Mo Wu’s eyes narrowed, feeling insulted. He had unleashed his Element Force with such great fanfare, yet Ning Xuan still dared to counter with only physical strength. It was absolute arrogance! As he roared in fury, he almost withdrew his Element Force.

Just then, the voice inside him screamed an urgent warning, "Unleash everything! Now!!!" By the end, the words had become a desperate roar.

Mo Wu had never heard that tone from it before. He obeyed on pure reflex, and a wild torrent of Element Force erupted from him.

Just as he began to worry this punch might actually kill Ning Xuan, Mo Wu’s expression changed dramatically. In that same instant, he sensed a terrifying wave of Element Force erupting from Ning Xuan’s fist.

It was like a river bursting through a dam—its momentum vast and unparalleled. If his own Element Force was a swarm of spirit serpents converging, Ning Xuan’s was a true dragon bursting forth from the sea.

The instant their fists connected...

BANG!

BOOM!

Mo Wu shot backward like a cannonball.

SPIT!

He sprayed a trail of blood across the sky.

"What?!"

After a moment of stunned silence, the Mo Family martial artists all cried out in shock, their eyes practically popping out of their heads.

Though Mo Wu’s strength was only at the fifth layer of the Heavenly Realm, no one in the Mo Family dared to underestimate him. Among the younger generation, he and their Young Master were considered equals. When it came to trading punches, he had never lost—not just at his Realm, but in the entire Heavenly Realm!

But now... he was defeated. Utterly. They couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

Then, Ning Xuan spoke, his voice laced with disappointment.

"Is that all?"

It was a soul-crushing remark.

A smile blossomed on San Wu’s little face. Back in the Mo Family, Mo Wu’s arrogant servants had bullied her relentlessly. She remembered Mo Wu himself being somewhat friendly, so she had once gathered the courage to ask him for guidance, only to be completely ignored.

I still remember the look in his eyes.

"Serves you right for being so high and mighty! Now you know what’s what! Go, you big bully!" San Wu couldn’t help herself, shaking her small fists as she cheered for Ning Xuan.

The faces of the Mo Family members, who had been filled with righteous indignation and were about to intervene, instantly turned sickly green. It was one thing for the girl to be an ungrateful traitor, but to be so brazen about it... It was outrageous!

The elder in the brocaded robes roared, "You little wretch, have you forgotten your own surname?!"

"Listen up, you old fossil! My surname is Ning, and my name is San Wu!" she retorted. Perhaps Ning Xuan’s display of power had given her confidence, but this time she didn’t back down, meeting the elder’s glare head-on.

The elder and the martial artists behind him were stunned. Had they heard correctly? The girl actually dared to talk back?!

"You... you... you deserve to die!" the elder raged, his face contorting as he prepared to strike.

"Stop!"

It was Mo Wu who spoke, having already climbed to his feet and wiped the blood from his lips.

"Mo Wu, she..." the elder began, but Mo Wu cut him off ruthlessly. "I’m not deaf. I heard her. This is a fair fight between Ning Xuan and me. If you dare distract him, I swear I’ll kill you."

The elder’s lips twitched, but he didn’t dare utter another word.

"Very good! You truly are a worthy opponent. Let’s go again!" Mo Wu declared. Though young, his voice was filled with an unshakeable confidence. "If you win, not only will all the Heavenly Crystals we have be yours, but you can also take Mo Xiaoxiao and leave safely. I promise, from this day forward, the Mo Family will never bother her about her identity again!"

Ning Xuan asked, "Are you sure you can make that decision?"

"I can!" His reply was filled with absolute confidence.

"Good." Ning Xuan nodded and tossed a vial of elixir to him. "These are top-grade Healing Pills. I’ll wait for you to recover."

To his surprise, Mo Wu caught the vial and tossed it right back. "A mere scratch like this doesn’t require any elixir."

As he spoke, he fixed his gaze on Ning Xuan and began walking toward him, one step at a time.

Ning Xuan’s eyes narrowed.
