Chapter 130: Chapter 130: You Piece of Shit, See if Your Dad is Dead Yet?

The Bloodwing Bird couldn’t dodge in time, and Ning Xuan couldn’t grab it either. The Element Force Giant Hand struck out fiercely.

HUM!

At the last moment, the arrow whizzed past the Bloodwing Bird’s neck. A spray of fresh blood spattered all over Ning Xuan’s face. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

Startled, the Bloodwing Bird let out a mournful cry as three more arrows pierced through the clouds, sealing off all its escape routes.

"Come here!" Wu Pianpian’s voice suddenly came from the side. Ning Xuan and the others turned to see her lying comfortably in a Flying Boat that shimmered with a metallic luster.

Without any hesitation, Ning Xuan jumped onto the Flying Boat with the three women.

THUD! THUD! THUD!

Behind them, three arrows penetrated the Bloodwing Bird’s body, their incredible force undiminished. Ning Xuan grabbed one of them, its fletching still quivering. Amidst mournful cries, the Bloodwing Bird plummeted diagonally.

Ning Xuan’s voice was cold. "Go down and take a look!"

Before the Flying Boat could move, more arrows pierced the clouds, howling as they descended. Wu Pianpian took a swig of liquor, watching with cold detachment.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

The overbearing arrows struck the Flying Boat, sending sparks flying with an incessant clang of metal. After a slight wobble, the Flying Boat stabilized and began to descend slowly.

BAM!

Below, the sound of the Bloodwing Bird crashing like a downed aircraft echoed as it shattered a giant tree before plowing through a dozen more like a battering ram. The archer, seeing that three arrows had failed to penetrate the Flying Boat, held their fire. However, Ning Xuan sensed a powerful aura lock onto them and begin moving rapidly toward the fallen Bloodwing Bird.

"Senior Sister, this Flying Boat is of amazing quality," Ning Xuan complimented with an awkward laugh, recalling how she had just pushed him.

"It’s powered by Heavenly Crystals. We’ll settle the bill later," Wu Pianpian said. She produced a suit of armor and looked at the doll-like girl. "You need to wear this. It has extremely strong shielding properties."

The girl didn’t respond, merely looking at Ning Xuan. Only when he nodded did she sweetly reply, "Okay!" She then held out her hands, naturally expecting Wu Pianpian to help her put it on.

Trying to find something to talk about, Ning Xuan asked, "Senior Sister Pianpian, what is this?"

Wu Pianpian pretended not to hear him. Beside them, Yun Wangshu chuckled. "This must be a Puppet Battle Armor from Bi Luo Palace. It’s incredibly powerful."

Ning Xuan was puzzled. "Aren’t puppets inanimate objects? Why the extra step of putting armor on one?"

"If you can’t say anything smart, then don’t say anything at all. No one’s going to think you’re mute," Wu Pianpian’s voice cut in coldly.

Yun Wangshu covered her mouth to stifle a laugh.

"Senior Sister, here are one hundred thousand Heavenly Crystals. Please, calm your anger." The girl had earlier snuck Ning Xuan the Storage Ring from the Galaxy Sword Sect elder, and the number of Heavenly Crystals inside was staggering. Deciding to be generous for once, Ning Xuan gave half of the Heavenly Crystals he had obtained from the Bi Luo Palace in the Lower Realm to Wu Pianpian.

Just as she finished fitting the Battle Armor on the girl, Wu Pianpian’s slender, jade-like arm draped over Ning Xuan’s shoulder. Her hand moved like lightning to collect the Heavenly Crystals as her face broke into a radiant smile. "We’re brothers now, so cut the formalities! I’m not a petty person!"

Ning Xuan nodded vigorously. "Right, right, right! Senior Brother is truly magnanimous. I accept this... ’bosom’ brotherhood!"

Wu Pianpian pulled Ning Xuan closer. "That’s more like it! Remember to call me Senior Brother from now on!"

Ning Xuan corrected her with a solemn expression, "No, it should be *Eldest* Senior ’Chest’!"

Beside them, Yun Wangshu felt that something wasn’t quite right.

"Haha, greetings, Eldest Senior Brother! Greetings!" Wu Pianpian beamed, directly rewarding Ning Xuan with a bag. "Here, a gift from your Eldest Senior Brother!"

The bag contained Heavenly Crystals.

Damn! At least a hundred Heavenly Crystals right off the bat... and she calls herself poor? Then again, I didn’t exactly lose out. I gained a ’bosom buddy,’ after all.

Ning Xuan smiled and bowed. "Thank you, Eldest Senior ’Chest’."

"Junior Brother, Junior Brother, me too! I want to be Eldest Senior Brother too!" the girl’s clear voice rang out from within the Puppet Battle Armor as she began to paw at Ning Xuan.

But then—BOOM!

The Battle Armor was full of mechanisms. The girl had no idea what she’d touched, but an enormous force erupted, sending Ning Xuan flying like a cannonball.

Yun Wangshu was left somewhat speechless. She had clearly seen Wu Pianpian subtly sidestep the moment the girl made her move.

Catching her gaze, Wu Pianpian slung an arm around her shoulders and winked. "You’re... bigger than me. Perhaps I should call you Eldest Senior ’Chest,’ as well?"

Finding the suggestion amusing, Yun Wangshu was about to nod when she caught the mischievous glint in Wu Pianpian’s eyes. Realizing the implication, she shrugged her off and scolded with a laugh, "You’re all a bunch of perverts!"

"Perverts? That’s a bit harsh. We haven’t done anything to you... yet," a voice from outside interjected.

The Flying Boat was already nearing the ground, and someone had spoken with a teasing tone. The three women and the dog looked over to see a youth with shifty eyes holding a large bow, flanked by two others of a similar age. The one who had spoken was to the archer’s left; he had a sharp chin and monkey-like features, his beady eyes bulging as they roved over the two women. Behind them followed six middle-aged men whose breathing was deep and steady, their eyes flashing like lightning whenever they opened.

Wu Pianpian ignored them, looking in the direction Ning Xuan had been sent flying. She then addressed her dog, "You mutt, go see if your dad’s dead!"

The three youths’ faces stiffened. The monkey-faced man spoke again, "Well now, little lady, you have a sharp tongue! But... I like it! Hahaha."

The youth on the right joined in the boisterous laughter, but the one in the middle simply stared intently at Yun Wangshu.

"I’m talking to you, get going!" Wu Pianpian still paid the men no mind. She stowed the Flying Boat and kicked her small white dog, Little White, sending him flying.

"WOOF... WOOF..."

As Little White’s barks faded into the distance, Ning Xuan thought from wherever he’d landed, My dear ’bosom buddy’... you’re a real piece of work.

"Ah, so it was a misunderstanding..." the monkey-faced youth said with a sycophantic smile, his face a mask of disappointment.

"Fair lady, this humble one is Sun Yuhu, at your service," the bow-wielding youth in the center said, recovering himself and cupping his fist to Yun Wangshu. "Might I be so bold as to ask for your esteemed name?"

The monkey-faced youth scrambled to imitate him, turning to Wu Pianpian. "This humble one is Kang Yang, and that is my brother, Chi Shi. Might I have the honor of knowing your name, fair lady?"

Yun Wangshu’s expression was frosty. She gazed in the direction Little White had gone, acting as if she hadn’t heard Sun Yuhu at all. Wu Pianpian also ignored Kang Yang, though she did cast a curious glance at Chi Shi.

Chi Shi immediately straightened his clothes, puffed out his chest, and struck what he believed to be a dashing pose.

"Eat Shit? Sister Wu, how can someone have a name like that? Hehehe..." Although Wu Pianpian had repeatedly told the girl not to speak, upon hearing the man’s name, she couldn’t help but burst into giggles.

Chi Shi’s face turned green.

"So, your surname is Wu? Fairy Wu, you are truly amazing. Your puppet can even talk! As it happens, I too have studied the Puppetry Technique. Why don’t we find a place to... discuss it in detail?" Kang Yang said, completely ignoring his companion’s plight as he stepped toward Wu Pianpian.

"What Puppetry Technique? That’s a Puppet Battle Armor with a living person inside!" Sun Yuhu snapped, recovering from the snub. His gaze flickered as he looked at Wu Pianpian. "May I ask what your relationship is with the Bi Luo Palace, Fairy Wu?"

The Flying Boat was clearly a product of the Bi Luo Palace. At first, he hadn’t been sure of their origins, but combined with the Puppet Battle Armor, he was now eighty percent certain.
