Meanwhile, the Silver Colossal Dragon had already slain another middle-stage level 8 beast, and was now hunting down the last remaining late-stage level 8 beast.

On both the high and middle-level battlefields, the Dragon Palace forces were dominating, but the level 7 colossal beasts were struggling.

In the darkness, a female orca swayed its tail as it glided through the water. A layer of pitch-black light shimmered on its silently moving body, not only concealing its power fluctuations, but also eliminating any water movement caused by its swimming, making it appear both eerie and formidable.

Behind it, half of a level 7 beast’s corpse slowly sank to the seafloor, blood gushing into the surrounding water.

The water within a dozen kilometers was boiling and murky from the roaring and fighting, with the explosions of various innate abilities shaking the entire ocean.

The Black Thunderbolt Domain surrounding the Serpent Beast shattered instantly under the dazzling golden-blue light of the dragon’s claw. The Serpent Beast immediately coiled its body tightly like a snake, wrapping itself in layers to protect its head.

The rear half of the Serpent Beast's body exploded, sending flesh and blood flying in all directions as a hundred-meter-long section of its body was blown apart.

From the twenty-meter-wide wound, golden red blood gushed out like a high-pressure fountain, dyeing the murky water within a hundred meters in a blink of an eye.

The Serpent Beast let out a pained scream, and its remaining body transformed into a streak of black lightning, surging at an incredible speed into the trench several kilometers away and diving headfirst into the blue micro-world.

Before the Thunder Emperor could pursue it, the micro-world beneath the trench began to tremble violently. A powerful spatial fluctuation erupted, and the entrance slowly closed.

The Serpent Beast had chosen to fuse its domain with that small world.

Standing at the edge of the trench, the Thunder Emperor gazed coldly at the sealed micro-world below. Golden flames burned on its body, and thunderbolts crackled, evaporating the surrounding water and creating rings of white vapor that spread outward.

After reaching the late stage of level 9, colossal beasts that sought to touch the laws of the universe had several paths. For instance, they could deeply cultivate their innate abilities, pushing one to its extreme and comprehending a law.
