Chapter 322: What Elshen taught me

Anon’s Boundless physique had a Dark Soul, God’s Eye, and Boundless Body.

When he previously exchanged secrets with Maarsha, his Dark soul devoured wisps of her energy, whereas his God’s Eye deciphered the most fundamental structure of her soul.

His Boundless Body mimicked her soul and energy signatures, and he assumed her identity.

On the other hand, his ungodly nature had nurtured a little devil in Maarsha’s heart.

Just as he could return from death through the heart of someone he influenced, he forcefully manifested through Maarsha’s heart, altering her existence by mimicking Elshen’s body and soul structure.

Maarsha’s identity as Elshen was completed after sacrificing his Region Dominating Blades and the Banner of Void Spirits.

Because Maarsha was never going to survive this confrontation, he knowingly abandoned these treasures to sell the act.

This way, he ’attempted’ to kill himself before Maarsha, as Elshen, confronted the Lady of Dazzling Lights along with her followers.

Multitasking like that was not difficult for an otherworldly creature, much less an abstract soul.

After the act was sold and her purpose was served, he actively gave up control over her heart, which was a death sentence for her.

Once his power disappeared from Maarsha’s heart, her unfathomable soul had to face the pressure of four dimensions.

That did not bode well for a mere unfathomable soul.

Only destruction awaited, and destruction came.

Meanwhile, the Lady of Dazzling Lights had returned to the Palace of Light with Anon.

An otherworldly creature was essentially a gathering of stellar cosmic energy infused with their spirit, consciousness, will, perception, and thoughts.

Anon’s God’s Eye deciphered this energy, and his Boundless Body allowed him to mimic these concepts.

He not only mimicked the otherworldly physique, but he also mimicked the consciousness, perception, will, and thoughts.

When coupled with the God’s Eye, the inherent trait, Boundless Body, was too overbearing.

Naturally, his willpower had not reached the Fourth Level.

If Maarsha had a Level Four Willpower along with an abstract soul, it would’ve taken much longer for his God’s Eye to decipher such a will and allow his Boundless Body to mimic it successfully.

Outside the throne room, the scenery of the Palace of Light unfurled before his eyes.

Maarsha’s cold expression was perpetual.

Naturally, the Palace of Light was not like the usual mortal palace.

This was much like the City Lord’s Manor, where the avatar of the Human Lord resided.

An entire cosmic void was contained within the palace.

This was a blinding void washed over by kaleidoscopic colors.

The expanse had no end in sight, and distance was meaningless.

The cosmic consciousness could not descend into the complex dimension of a Primary-Level creature, so the limit of speed was different within this space.

Faster, he could move much quicker in this space.

And yet, this was useless.

Within the palace of light, one could only move through the use of coordinates.

Outside of the princesses and the prince, there were only a handful of individuals who had the coordinates to the throne room of the Boundless Light Empress.

Maarsha’s memories were completely intact.

With a thought, his body appeared to disassemble into particles of light.

It was only a single thought, but faster than a second thought could form, he materialized in a completely different space.

Even with Maarsha’s memories, he was greatly shocked.

One must understand that he had an abstract soul with a Willpower that was on the cusp of the Fourth Level.

He could form thoughts rapidly.

His mind could produce millions of thoughts in less than a second.

But he had crossed an immeasurable distance before he could give birth to a second thought!

This was speed that transcended time and space.

Distance was insignificant.

Once one had the coordinates, one was essentially already present.

He sighed with amazement.

Even though there was his wife, Astaria, who was a Pinnacle-Level Dimension Lord, Anon still found this Primary-Level creature very impressive.

He looked around.

This was Maarsha’s own small world.

Though it was, in and of itself, much larger than Planet Eldara, comparatively speaking, it was only a spec of dust in the Palace of Light.

Within this world, there were many creatures.

These were mortal creatures, and there were otherworldly creatures too, but they were only some insignificant Cosmos Forgers.

Squinting his eyes, he glanced toward a particular location in the small world.

His speed was not easily describable, and at a moment’s notice, he appeared before a sea of blue waves.

Standing on the seashore, Maddison’s hands were clasped behind his back.

There was an imperceptible smile playing on his lips as he looked back and asked with an almost amused voice, "Why is my sister frowning whenever she sees me?"

The smile disappeared as he continued with a flat voice, "Is it that Elshen could stimulate your soul to this extent?!"

The true meaning behind his words needed no explanation.

Assuming Maarsha’s form, Anon snickered coldly.

What was a little humiliation?

’Those words appeared to’ve triggered him.’ He thought, chuckling inwardly.

In fact, this was something he wanted from the very beginning.

The Celestial Heart Atavistic Empire was known for its righteousness and justice, but it harbored a wealth of soul-stirring events within the Palace of Light.

The Elven race possessed a unique ability to share a greater consciousness, deeply rooted in their connection with the World Tree.

This sharing of a greater consciousness enabled individuals to exchange insights about cosmic principles, enriching both parties involved.

As ideas were bounced back and forth, both participants reaped significant benefits, particularly the less insightful member.

However, achieving this shared state required the completion of certain acts.

In accordance with Elven tradition, this act was typically reserved for Dao companions, and engaging in it between a parent and child was scorned upon.

Nevertheless, the advantages of sharing a greater consciousness with the Boundless Light Empress were immense for any of her children.

At first, the thought of engaging in this act had never crossed the Empress’s mind. As the ruler of an Atavistic Empire, she was reluctant to partake in such a distasteful practice.

However, the arrival of Prince Maddison transformed that perspective.

Now, sharing a greater consciousness had become a common occurrence among the members of the Palace of Light.

And it was Prince Maddison himself who spearheaded these actions.

This was the main reason for his fury when Anon suggested that Elshen and Maarsha had exchanged secrets.

After all, Maarsha was "his property."

Now that he found himself in Maarsha’s realm, the reason was naturally apparent.

But Anon was elated.

Prince Maddison was his target from the very beginning.

This path was more humiliating than being a lackey for the Lady of Dazzling Lights; yet, the benefits far outweighed any sense of disgrace.

One had to understand the ungodly nature.

As Maarsha approached Prince Maddison, her violet eyes shimmered with a peculiar crimson hue.

In Maddison’s eyes, Maarsha’s movements appeared slightly more seductive than before.

And this sensation only escalated as she made her way to him.

"May I show you what Realm Father Elshen taught me?" Anon had no choice but to say these words to stimulate Maddison’s soul.

Anyway, he did not care how he achieved his objectives; once he did.

And indeed, Maddison felt an intense wave of frustration and anger after hearing Maarsha mention Elshen again.

However, the more stimulated his soul became, the easier the ungodly nature’s influence would latch onto his heart.

They had not even begun the act, but reason was slowly slipping away from Maddison’s eyes.

Logic was slowly shrouded by the mysteries of an ungodly power, signifying the beginning of the end.
