Chapter 238: Planet Eldara

This was a world of riches, where hundreds of thousands of cosmic vessels regularly docked in the spaceport above the planet’s atmosphere.

As one of the strategic planets of the Human race, even though it was only a core planet of a mere minor region’s starfield, entities from other star fields, and even those from foreign minor regions, regularly visited this world.

In one of the docking bay areas, a dark grey ship with a ferocious appearance parked. Soon after, a single figure exited.

For an otherworldly creature, he had an ordinary appearance.

His face was fair, and his hair and eyes were black. He had a masculine, youthful appearance and crimson tattoos marking his face.

He was adorned in metallic armor with a purple sheen.

"Wowowowow!" A high-pitched voice squealed aloud, catching the black-haired young man off guard.

A fatty humanoid figure with green eyes like gems, purple skin, and antennas on its forehead rushed toward the black-haired youth.

He was adorned in yellow, regal attire, seemingly of noble status, and a team of guards desperately followed behind.

"This... this... this..." he uttered chaotically. His gaze shifted from the youth to the cosmic vessel behind him and back to the youth several times.

"Is this the limited edition Drakthar vessel?! I haven’t even heard of one for the last seven cosmic cycles...! Heh, heh, how much? Just call a price!" In a high-pitched voice, he giggled with drool escaping his fat lips.

"Ahh..." The black-haired youth was slightly taken aback.

He came from a humble background, from a world of little significance in a vast star system.

From where he came from, even fourth-worlders were considered relatively powerful, and he had struggled to finally achieve otherworldly ascendance.

This cosmic vessel was part of the ancient legacies that were hidden away in his little world at some unknown point in its history.

He could not acquire an answer to this mystery even after threading the river of time.

Scratching the back of his head, he awkwardly said, "I don’t really plan on selling it though."

"Hmph! If the young master wants it, why aren’t you-!"

Before the guard could continue rambling, the fatty young master raised his hand and interrupted, "If my brother here does not wish to sell it, it’s only because you do not see my determination. No matter the price, we can talk it over a meal..."

His voice was still chirpy, and he excitedly invited the black-haired youth to a meal. The latter could sense the sincerity in his words, and he had no reason to refuse.

"This is my first time to Eldara, so I have not seen the Humanitarian base before; however, we can talk over a meal sometime after," the black-haired youth said.

His words, though, did not seem to go through to the fatty young master who stared at him in a daze, or maybe, behind him...

In a nearby docking bay, an area where many otherworldly gazes were drawn towards, a cosmic vessel with a specific star emblem etched across its body, radiated with the remnant cosmic mysteries of the Star Threading Pathway.

Before these onlookers could react, space buzzed with intensity.

The entire spaceport trembled, and a radiant azure light swept through them.

Below, the atmospheric clouds parted ways under the assault of an astral stairway that led to that particular cosmic vessel.

The fatty young master’s eyes were almost about to fall out of his eye sockets, "T-T-T-This... this... this..." He tapped the black-haired young man and asked, "Are you seeing what I’m seeing?"

The black-haired youth was even more confused than the fatty young master, so he didn’t even know how to reply.

"This is the highest-level welcoming ceremony on planet Eldara. I assume, only the sentinel can wield the power of the blue waves," the fatty young master caught his bearings and explained, "The sentinel has an origin and status even greater than the planet leaders. Rumor has it, with the blue wave, he can even confront Dimension Lords!"

The black-haired young man finally began to understand, saying in a solemn tone, "So whoever they’re welcoming must be a Dimension Lord..."

"Not just that," the fatty young master shook his head and replied, "The sentinel comes from the Humanitarian upper echelon, so no ordinary Dimension Lord can get him to welcome them so grandly."

The duo was not the only ones who observed with bated breath. And soon after, the cosmic vessel opened from below, and two figures slowly materialized.

Leren stood a half foot behind Anon’s angelic figure.

The duo expressionlessly descended the otherworldly staircase a moment after, seemingly not caring for the multitude of gazes that landed on them.

Soon after, the many phenomena disappeared, almost as if they had not appeared in the first place, and everything returned to normal.

The black haired young man glanced at the fatty young master, saying with a deadpan expression, "Both of them were otherworldly knights."

He did not continue with his words, but it was obvious what he meant.

He was practically asking, ’Are you sure you didn’t exaggerate what you had said earlier?’.

However, the fatty young master did not seem to hear him. Instead, he inhaled exaggeratedly, seemingly in deep thought.

There was a hushed silence that had quickly spread across the entire baying area, only broken by the regular influx of ships.

Some of the more knowledgeable began placing the pieces together.

After all, for a few days after his otherworldly ascension, Anon had stayed within Earth’s time flow, so for the otherworldly creatures across the cosmic space, over a thousand years had passed.

At this time, word had long spread.

Some generals who attended the banquet mentioned to their warlord disciples, and warlords intermingled and interacted with each other... Some warlords mentioned it to the knights, and by this time, even the most ordinary cosmos forger with a relatively decent network of information would be in the know.

That appearance, coupled with that level of welcoming ceremony, and only a mere otherworldly knight... everything matched.

"My brother," the fatty young master chuckled.

He said with a myriad of emotions flashing through his emerald gem-like eyes, "That mere otherworldly knight, the angelic-looking one, is the sole entity across the cosmic space who succeeded in otherworldly ascension with a second world cultivation."

His words were spoken in an almost casual, matter-of-fact manner. Hearing these words, the black-haired young man reacted with a pair of dull eyes.

After all, even if he was from a backwater part of the Human Domain, wasn’t this too much?

Back then, he subconsciously understood that it was impossible and improbable for him to succeed in otherworldly ascension even with a third-world cultivation base.

He later came to understand that those who could succeed in this act were cosmic pinnacle geniuses numbering only a handful every few cosmic cycles.

Second world cultivation and otherworldly ascension?

He had limited knowledge, but a joke like that could not fool him.

.....

Augmented by the Human species, planet Eldara’s pulse released a wave of blue radiance that permeated the entire starfield, which gave the starfield its name.

With the blue waves permeating the entire starfield, to attack planet Eldara was akin to attacking an entity as large as the entire starfield, which held close to a thousand star systems...

Even if this was not enough to defeat a Dimension Lord, as a strategic planet of the Human race, there resided a sentinel, perpetually stationed to protect the entire planet.

Seraphis...

He sat atop white clouds with an ethereal presence enveloping him, and a face that radiated an aura of divine serenity.

Gracefully seated in a meditative pose, he was draped in flowing, red, silken robes that appeared to undulate like the blue waves permeating the star field.

His silvery blue hair fell like starlit water, framing a face of sharp, delicate features and piercing eyes that gleamed with a compassionate light.

He had high cheekbones and a serene expression conveying tranquility, while ornate jewelry encircled his neck and arms, each piece shimmering with an essence containing mysteries similar to the Blue Wave Star Field.

As he wielded the power of the blue waves, no one actually perceived his presence.

In the floating capital of planet Eldara, spanning a surface area of many millions of kilometers squared, palaces made up of dark gold attempted to ascend into the starry void; however, stellar chains embedded into the obsidian earth kept them within the bounds of the capital.

An army of a hundred thousand stood in the skies.

These were all otherworldly knights, either originating from across this minor region of a thousand star fields, or from as far as other minor regions.

Joining a strategic planet of the Human species came with a myriad of benefits.

So much so that the planet saw thousands upon thousands of otherworldly creatures attempt to register in the Humanitarian base every cosmic cycle, with a minority ever succeeding.

Before the astral stairs, a group of enigmatic planetary leaders enveloped in otherworldly auras stood in wait.

The world was swept away by a hushed silence as they all awaited his appearance.
