Leah is hugging Cleo’s left arm while giving him a light peck every now and then when she notice a glare coming from a shabby looking food stall. It belong to a silver haired woman who looks like a hamster due to its cheeks stuff with food. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

’What’s with that bitch?’ says Leah inwardly. ’Don’t tell me she’s interested in Cleo?’ Leah added while tightening her grip on Cleo’s arm.

Cleo felt Leah’s grasp getting firmer and stronger. He looks at her and saw that she is staring at someone. He then trace the source and saw a silver haired woman.

’What’s with this weird tension and who is that woman?’ wondered by Cleo.

"What’s wrong Leah?" asked by Cleo wondering what’s with the staring contest all of a sudden.

"Hmm? Oh nothing let’s go Cleo." answered by Leah while she pull his left arm.

The pair then arrived at their location. Cleo read about their target for today. Minotaur are territorial in this world and mostly they are isolated. The most you can see a group of Minotaur are when they are fighting each other or one of them is already dead.

They traverse deep into the forest killing monster they encounter along the way. It won’t give them exp anymore however it still worth it because they might drop a fragments or equipment.

After two hours of delving deep into the forest the pair of red heads notice that for the past hour they didn’t encounter a single monster. A gust of wind flew at their direction carrying a strong scent of fresh blood.

The pair followed the scent stopping when they saw a monster that’s twice as tall as an average height of a human. It has a muscular human body however its head resembles a raging bull with a ring on its nose. It carry a huge morning star that has blood dripping on it. Under the towering presence an unrecognizable lifeless body due to it being crushed and mutilated can be seen.

"GRAAAAWWWRRR!!!" The towering monster senses the pair then release a huge roar.

"Get ready Leah!" commanded by Cleo. Judging by his expression they successfully found their next target. The Minotaur.

"Conjure Sword!" chanted by Leah. A mana imbued sword slowly appeared on her off hand.

"Just like we strategized! Sword Wave!" ordered by Cleo while activating one of his skill.

"Sword Wave! Sword Throw!" followed by Leah.

Three projectile launch from their direction. Two blue crescent shape wave and a huge curved sword.

"Don’t give it an opening!" before the three projectile hit Cleo activated Sword Dash.

One of the crescent shape projectile hit the Minotaur in its left arm. In retaliation the Minotaur charge forward with a slightly lowered head.

*CLANG*

Cleo and the horn of the Minotaur clash which result in Cleo getting thrown out in a nearby tree. On impact he coughs up blood.

"Cleo! Sword Recall!" witnessing the clash Leah recall her curved sword to prepare for another attack. "Sword Dash!" Leah added after she retrieve her curved sword.

The attack successfully connects however she didn’t have time to dodge the counter attack from the Minotaur’s morning star. Leah tried to block with her Conjured Sword however the impact breaks it. Like Cleo she was sent out flying to a nearby tree as well.
