My Wives Are Beautiful Origin Beings-Chapter 26: How do you know about Origin Beings?
Chapter 26: How do you know about Origin Beings?
Amanda asked, "Are you one of the origin beings?" But this time, she didn't get any answer; instead, her barrier broke, and she found herself strangled by Elena.
It happened in an instant that Ren couldn't even see or move. But before he could make any move to save Amanda, he felt an invisible pressure descend upon him and found himself kneeling on the floor.
"Don't try to move," Cristina shouted, her blue eyes now the same golden shade as her hair. A short, white horn in the middle of her forehead; the usual, cheerful Cristina's face filled with anger.
On the other hand, the same could be said for Elena; the only difference is, she has shorter hair than Cristina.
"How do you know about ORIGIN BEINGS?" Her voice was cold and loud, while her nails dug deeper into Amanda's neck.
Amanda didn't feel much pain in the neck, but the internal pain caused by Elena's voice—she thought her soul would be cracked if this happened again.
"Stop it," Ren roared. He tried to move, focused on his resonance, but it didn't work.
"Then there's only one option," Ren said.
At the same time, a hammer came out of a vortex with a phoenix sign in the middle and flew towards Elena.
Seeing the weapon, Christina stopped using her power.
Elena also noticed the weapon; as the weapon reached near her, she stopped it using her index finger.
"This is some interesting weapon you have," Elena said, holding the weapon in her right hand.
Holding the weapon, Elena tightened her grip on the hammer, wanting to test the limit of it.
"Sis, stop," Cristina said.
"Why?" Elena said, but she was curious why her sister stopped her.
"Look at the sign, Sis."
Elena looked at the phoenix sign on the weapon's handle.
"It's just a sign. What about it?"
Christina sighed, "Sis, that's why I always tell you to know about our society's affairs and politics, but you always say they are worthless."
"Yeah, yeah, I get it; now tell me what it is,"
"This clan's matriarch is part of our society, although they both are weakened like us. I should have already guessed they are also from another world by their power."
"They are also from the first order line in our army,"
Elena loosened her grip around Amanda's neck, and her appearance also returned to normal. Now, she knows that they are from the first order; no matter how angry she was, she can't kill these people, because they were the people that once stood with them when no one wanted to fight beside them. They lost many of their family, tortured; even then, they choose loyalty. These are the people they both will be forever grateful to.
"Just kill me. After all, that's how all of you are," Amanda said; tears started falling from her eyes.
"You all will kill anyone without any reason, even if that person is from your family; that's how you all are raised."
"Power, destruction—is that all you want, right?"
"Tell me, how many worlds you've destroyed? How many families you've destroyed?"
"I saw my brothers and sisters die in front of me; don't even know if my mother is alive or not, and the worst of all, I can't even do anything to find her."
Elena and Cristina just stood there silently, their head bowed; they knew this was the fate they had to bear—countless worlds, beings, and families destroyed because of that war.
"Why are you silent? Answer me! Where were you when all of my family members died? What did you give us in return for our loyalty? You all fled from the battlefield, leaving all of us to die."
"Now, because of you, we have been hiding for thousands of years."
Seeing her crying like a child, Ren hugged her.
"Stop it, Amanda," Ren's heart shattered seeing her crying like this; it reminded him of that day when they all lost everything.
"We are sorry," Elena and Cristina both said at the same time.
Amanda stood up, her eyes moist, looked into their eyes, and shouted.
"If you are truly sorry, then leave Alan alone! I don't want that child to suffer because of you."
"We can't," Cristina muttered angrily. "If you want to blame us for everything, try to kill us, curse us; feel free to do so, but don't overstep your boundaries."
"Why can't you leave him? You definitely know if you stay with him, he'll definitely involved in this war. Why are you risking his life? Why all of you are sel—"
"Amanda, stop,"
They all looked behind them to find the source of the voice.
It was an old man with a face similar to Amanda's.
He walked towards the girl and kneeled in front of them.
"First Order Vice-Commander Allucard greets the empresses."
"You know us?" Elena asked.
"Yes, empress. Only me and my wife, the commander of the first order, knew about your existence."
"Also, please forgive my daughter for her rudeness. She doesn't know the whole truth."
"What truth are you talking about?" Elena asked.
"I know your father and mother are not cowards; they never fled from the battle, they never abandoned us. Something must have happened to them, and my only guess is they vanished just like how my wife vanished. So, don't blame yourselves for that day."
Their conversation continued, oblivious to the fact that two people heard everything, and it was Alan and Anna.
"Anna, did you see that? How fucking cool Elena was? It was really cool to stop the hammer in one finger; it reminded me of a certain movie."
