My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 33: How Did You Meet? Fighting
With a faint smile, Stella Sinclair pulled a golden business card from her purse.
Master Sinclair’s expression tightened. "Where did you get this?" he asked sternly.
Stella lowered her head slightly, replying respectfully, "The Lockwood Heir gave it to me personally."
She didn’t dare to look Master Sinclair in the eye, afraid he would see the panic in her heart.
Master Sinclair glanced at the card, and his expression gradually softened. He suddenly burst out laughing, his voice loud and full of vigor. "Stella, let’s go. Come to the Lockwood Family with Grandpa! I’d like to see if they dare to not release her!"
Stella, joy hidden in her eyes, obediently followed by Master Sinclair’s side.
She saw the shock in Jade Sinclair’s and Jean Quincy’s eyes and felt a touch of smugness.
’Mother’s business card is so useful!’

When Jane Lawson learned that Master Sinclair had brought Stella Sinclair, she sneered dismissively. "Let them wait."
Five minutes later, a Lockwood family servant came in holding a golden card.
"Ma’am, Master Sinclair asked me to give this to you."
At first, Jane Lawson assumed it was an unregistered golden card and didn’t even glance at it. "Hah... Is the Lockwood Family short on money?"
But the servant’s face showed a trace of hesitation. "Ma’am, this is Young Master Lockwood’s business card!"
"It doesn’t matter whose card it is... Whose card did you say it was?"
Jane Lawson stared blankly at the servant’s solemn expression, then immediately snatched the golden card from his hand.
The back of the card was imprinted with the family crest of the Main Branch of the Lockwood Family. Flipping it over, the name "Arthur Lockwood" seemed to be branded onto it, glinting with a metallic luster.
This was the unique business card of the Lockwood Heir, Arthur Lockwood.
’How could the Sinclair Family have this?’

In the living room, Master Sinclair appeared calm and composed, but a stone hung heavy in his heart until Jane Lawson walked out with a smile on her face.
"Mr. Sinclair, you’re here? My apologies, my apologies. I was busy just now and couldn’t get away. I’ve made you wait."
Seeing her demeanor, Master Sinclair breathed a silent sigh of relief. He dispensed with the pleasantries and got straight to the point. "My granddaughter..."
"Oh, Mr. Sinclair, it’s all a misunderstanding! The young ones were just joking around, I didn’t expect my people to take it so seriously. Don’t you worry, I’ve already spoken with the Martial Affairs Bureau. It’s all a misunderstanding. I’m sure Miss Sinclair has already been released..."
Jane Lawson cut Master Sinclair off with a laugh, her tone as relaxed as if their two families were one and the same.
Master Sinclair nodded, intending to leave, but Jane Lawson asked probingly, "This must be the talented Eldest Miss Sinclair of Kingsford, yes? It’s true what they say; you’re even more impressive in person. The Sinclair girls are all so beautiful! I wonder, do you have a boyfriend?"
This was the first time the matriarch of a great family had asked her such a question. Stella froze for a moment, then a shy blush crept up her cheeks. "Not yet..."
Master Sinclair naturally knew what Jane Lawson was implying. He snorted coldly and stood up, leaning on his cane.
"Stella, it’s time to go back!"
Jane Lawson didn’t dare to delay them. She personally saw them out and had a servant prepare a generous gift. "Mr. Sinclair, this is for the two children, to help calm their nerves!"
After the Sinclairs left, Jane Lawson’s face immediately darkened. "To the hospital—"

In the car, Master Sinclair looked at the business card in his hand, then patted Stella’s hand with a smile, sighing with emotion. "With a sister like you to look after her, I can rest easy even after I’m gone."
Stella offered a few modest replies, but her gaze never left the golden business card in Master Sinclair’s hand.
"Stella, how do you know Young Master Lockwood?" Master Sinclair asked casually as he chuckled and handed the card back to her.
Stella smiled faintly and replied lightly, "The young master of the Guthrie Family introduced us."
Master Sinclair nodded in understanding. He pulled an unregistered golden card from his pocket and handed it to her. "This is your reward from Grandpa. Take it!"
Stella took the card, said her thanks, and couldn’t stop the joy from overflowing in her eyes.
Although she was the esteemed Eldest Miss Sinclair, her mother, Hailey Gordon, was very strict with her spending and would never give her so much money at once. In Veridia, an unregistered golden card could have a limit of up to eight figures, meaning she could buy a great deal of luxury goods.

Meanwhile, Jade Sinclair and Tanner Sinclair took the Quincy Siblings to pick up Aurora Sinclair.
They finally breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing her. Jean Quincy even rushed over to hug her while sobbing, a display that could give Leigh Miles a run for her money.
For the first time ever, Aurora Sinclair didn’t dodge; she was just at a bit of a loss.
Tanner Sinclair patted her head. "It’s good that you’re out. You must be hungry, right? Let’s go eat first!"
At the dinner table, Jean Quincy recounted the story of how Stella Sinclair knew the Lockwood Heir, finishing with an envious sigh. "Our eldest cousin is so well-connected!"
Aurora Sinclair’s eyes flickered.
Jade Sinclair shot Jean Quincy a glare. "You have the nerve to say that! If it weren’t for Stella this time, Aurora would still be stuck in there! You two need to thank Stella properly..."
Jean Quincy pouted, while Aurora obediently nodded her head.
Just then, the phone in Aurora’s pocket started vibrating.
She took it out and glanced at it. The screen displayed the name "Morgan." Jean Quincy leaned over to look, asking curiously, "A friend of yours?"
Aurora nodded and swiped to answer the call.
Alvin Morgan’s slightly deep voice came through the phone, as pleasant as the sound of a cello.
"Aurora, where are you?"
Although the voice was quiet, Jean Quincy, who was closest, heard it and was instantly shocked.
’A male friend?’
Aurora looked at Jean Quincy and asked, "Where are we?"
Jean Quincy was still stunned by the fact that Aurora had an unknown male friend. "The Linton Garden Restaurant," she said, dazed.
Aurora repeated like a parrot, "The Linton Garden Restaurant!"
Hearing the extra female voice on the line, the serious expression on Alvin Morgan’s face finally softened a bit. "Come to the lab tonight."
Beside him, Beta Morgan finally breathed a sigh of relief. Just moments ago, his master had heard that Aurora had been taken away by the Kingsford Martial Affairs Bureau for fighting a young master from a branch of the Lockwood Family. He had been on the verge of going to get her himself!
If he had gone, Aurora’s name would have likely been known throughout all of Kingsford by the next day.
"Okay," Aurora replied.
Beta Morgan’s mouth twitched. He suddenly felt a pang of sympathy for his master. He’d been worried sick, only to get such a cold response.
"See you tonight, then!" Alvin Morgan hung up.
Aurora silently put her phone away, only to turn and see Jean Quincy staring at her with a face full of avid curiosity.
She even leaned close to her ear and whispered, "Who is ’Morgan’?"
Aurora thought for a moment, then replied with two words: "A friend."
"What kind of friend? How did you meet?" Jean Quincy’s eyes sparkled, her face a picture of gossip.
But Aurora’s reply was a concise single word: "Fighting."
Jean Quincy: ...
’This violent, straightforward girl!’

That evening, Alden Quincy reported the day’s events to his parents.
For the first time during a family dinner, Mrs. Quincy was warm and pleasant to her third daughter-in-law, whom she usually looked down on.
"It’s been a long time since I’ve seen your father! Jade, come to my room after dinner. I have two stalks of high-quality ginseng here for you to take back to him!"
Because Stella Sinclair knew the Lockwood Heir, Jade Sinclair’s status in the Quincy Family had risen considerably.
After dinner, Mr. Quincy specifically called Jade Sinclair into the study to talk about the Quincy family’s business.
"Jade! Your husband probably hasn’t told you, but we ran into some trouble with our business in Rhovan a while ago. The Lockwood Heir gave an order that all our goods are to be strictly inspected. Could you ask when this inspection will end?"
Jade Sinclair was overwhelmed by the favor. In the past, Mr. Quincy would never have allowed a daughter-in-law to interfere in the Quincy family’s business. This was an exception.
If she handled this well, her husband, Alden Quincy, would be given more and more important responsibilities in the future.
"No problem, I’ll go back and ask tomorrow!"
"No need to be in such a hurry. Just ask the next time you visit your family. This is an inkstone I collected many years ago. Take it back for your niece!"
Meanwhile, after watching the surveillance footage of Aurora Sinclair kicking Glenn Lockwood into the air, Alvin Morgan casually said to Beta Morgan, "The Quincy Family can be let off the hook."
Before Jade Sinclair even had a chance to speak with Stella Sinclair, the Quincy Family’s problem was resolved the very next day.
Mr. and Mrs. Quincy came to value Jade Sinclair even more.
