My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 215 - 209: Aurora Sinclair Loses Control
Aurora didn’t answer, turning around to continue treating Indie Lowell’s internal injuries.
Marshall Lowell suppressed his anger, his expression dark as he watched her. Only after they had clashed did he realize how unfathomably deep her strength ran. She wasn’t just a little stronger than him; she was in a different league entirely.
When their palms met, his entire arm had been jolted numb, his meridians nearly rupturing. The Power within him had crumbled before hers.
She must have been holding back, intending only to intimidate him, not to deal a crippling blow.
No wonder Sunstone chose to help him become a Martial King, and not the Lockwood Family.
His gaze shifted to the Morgan Family’s promising Young Master, and a knot formed in his chest.
About half an hour later, Aurora finally withdrew her hands. She swept an indifferent gaze over them and said coldly, "Bring him over."
Hugo Lowell was in better shape than Yves Sherwood had been. After all, his own strength was considerable, and with the Lowell Family’s excellent martial healing techniques, they had mostly suppressed the Power Aurora had driven into his body.
Seeing her father’s weakened state, Indie couldn’t help but ask, "Aurora, how is he?"
"He’ll be fine."
Aurora glanced at the man on the gurney, raised a hand to press several acupoints on his body, then gave him a light pat. The incredibly domineering stream of Power was expelled from his body, shooting straight toward the opposite wall. After a loud BANG, another hole appeared in the meeting hall’s wall.
The members of the Lowell Family stared at each other, stunned into silence.
"There."
Aurora withdrew her hand and stepped aside. Alvin Morgan came forward and handed her a cup of tea.
Marshall Lowell hurried over, his concerned demeanor a stark contrast to his earlier coldness.
Hugo Lowell circulated the Power in his body for a few cycles. A look of joy spread across his face, and he gave a slight nod.
The Lowell Family finally breathed a collective sigh of relief.
He was an eighth-dan Grandmaster, the Lowell Family’s most promising candidate to become their second Martial King. They couldn’t afford for anything to happen to him.
"This is a warning. Do not interfere in Sunstone’s affairs," Aurora said coldly, preparing to leave with Indie and Titus Miles.
Marshall Lowell watched their departing figures, then glanced at the other family members. His voice, laced with Power, suddenly rang out.
"Wait—"
Aurora’s expression darkened, and she moved swiftly to block the force of the palm strike aimed at Indie.
Marshall Lowell withdrew his hand, clasping it behind his back. He looked at Aurora with a dark expression. "Sunstone has never interfered in the affairs of the Great Families. I must ask you to abide by this agreement."
After receiving a pointed look from his father, Third Master Lowell braced himself and said, "As a daughter of the Lowell Family, Indie Lowell has disrespected her parents and kinsmen, forsaking her ancestors. She is hereby expelled from the family. According to ancestral law, she must return the family’s martial arts before she is allowed to leave..."
The moment he finished speaking, Aurora moved to stand in front of Indie. Her fists clenched, and her domain of Power washed over the Lowell family.
Marshall Lowell struggled to resist her Power and shouted, "Aurora Sinclair, these are the rules of the Martial World! Your Sunstone has its heritage, and the Lowell Family has ours. Anyone who leaves the Lowell Family must return what they have been taught. If you continue to obstruct us, I will go to Arcadia and demand an explanation!"
Aurora’s eyes narrowed. She started to move forward, but Indie grabbed her arm.
"Aurora..."
She shook her head. ’Marshall Lowell is making an example of me,’ she thought. ’He’s doing this to stop other family members from getting any ideas about defying him and leaving the family as I have. I’m not walking out of here today.’
Hugo Lowell’s heart ached. With a conflicted look in his eyes, he said, "Indie, if you just come back, you can be spared the agony of having your cultivation destroyed."
But Indie knelt before him without hesitation and knocked her head against the floor three times. "Father... take care—"
Marshall Lowell’s expression was ice-cold. He struck with lightning speed, hitting her directly on her Energy Sea Acupoint. Her body was sent flying as she sprayed a mouthful of blood.
Aurora moved with incredible speed to catch her, but the impact still forced her back several steps.
Marshall Lowell had not held back with that strike. Indie was already clinging to life by a thread.
"Aurora—"
Indie’s gaze was unfocused, and blood gushed uncontrollably from her mouth. She was barely breathing.
Aurora reached out to probe Indie’s meridians. Her two main meridians were completely severed, and all the subsidiary ones had been destroyed.
Her cultivation was utterly destroyed.
She immediately pressed several of Indie’s major acupoints, then looked up at Marshall Lowell, her lips pressed into a thin line. Gathering Indie in her arms, she turned and bolted, her speed astonishing.

The car sped straight toward the Warner Family’s research center.
After placing several needles, Emil Warner, beads of sweat on his forehead, shook his head with a grave expression. "She’s too badly injured. I’m afraid she won’t make it through the night... unless we get her to Sunstone immediately..."
Aurora’s entire body trembled, her emotions in turmoil. It sounded as if her very bones were creaking.
Seeing this, Alvin Morgan immediately pulled her into an embrace, whispering, "I’ve already arranged for a plane. We’ll head to Sunstone right now..."
"Leigh Miles..."
"She’ll be here any second."
Aurora struggled to control the Power that was about to erupt from her body. She clenched her jaw, her entire frame trembling.
The color of her irises flickered, shifting between black and gray, a sight that horrified Beta Morgan and Emil Warner.
’She’s a remnant of Project A...’
Alvin covered her eyes with one hand, shooting the others a warning glance. He held her tightly with both arms, as if trying to lend her his strength. "Aurora... hold on..."
Aurora chanted the Heart Calming Scripture over and over in her mind, trying to suppress the bloodthirsty impulse raging within her.
A few minutes later, Leigh Miles finally arrived, but she had no idea where to begin. She burst into tears on the spot. "Senior Sister... I can’t treat this."
Aurora’s irises turned completely gray, the rims of her eyes blood-red. The Power inside her erupted, completely out of control.
A series of CRACKS and BANGS echoed through the room.
Every glass object in the operating room shattered instantly. Alvin Morgan was thrown back, crashing heavily against the wall.
"AHHH—" A guttural roar tore from her throat.
Aurora’s hair flew wildly as she spread her arms wide. An immense wave of Power exploded outward, sending a concussive blast through the room. Everyone was knocked back, their insides churning, and they coughed up blood.
The operating room shook as if hit by an earthquake, and cracks began to spiderweb up the walls from the floor.
"Stop her, quickly!" Leigh Miles yelled.
Just then, a figure blurred through the doorway and pressed several major acupoints on Aurora’s back.
She faltered for an instant, then spun and threw a punch carrying irresistible power. Elias Lennox barely managed to dodge.
The two clashed violently in the dimly lit operating room. Elias kept dodging, but Aurora’s attacks grew faster and faster.
"Senior Brother, look out...!" Leigh Miles screamed.
But he was still hit. Aurora’s punch caught him in the chest, sending him stumbling back a dozen steps until his back slammed into the wall.
Aurora lunged forward, aiming another punch at his head. Elias rolled away just in time, and her fist smashed into the wall, leaving a bloody crater in the plaster.
The color of her irises flickered, as if she were fighting for control. Clutching her head with one hand, she gasped out two words: "Run away..."
But her lucidity lasted only a moment before she lost control and lunged at Elias again.
This time, risking severe injury, Elias pulled a small aerosol can from his pocket. As Aurora came at him, he sprayed its contents directly in her face. At the same instant, her fist connected squarely with his abdomen. He was sent flying like a rag doll, crashing hard against the wall before sliding to the floor.
A bloodthirsty glint shone in Aurora’s eyes. Clenching her fists, she stalked toward Elias, one step at a time.
The killing intent radiating from her was suffocating, utterly despair-inducing.
Suddenly, a figure rushed forward, wrapping his arms around her.
"My Lord—" Beta Morgan screamed.
"Aurora, wake up..."
Her powerful fist slammed into Alvin Morgan’s arm. The sickening CRACK of bone breaking drained the color from everyone’s faces.
Alvin didn’t let go, his arms locked around her in a death grip.
Aurora’s strength was immense; she easily threw Alvin off her. She lunged, grabbing him by the collar and hauling him to his feet, her bandaged fist poised to strike.
Beta Morgan lunged forward and grabbed her arm, only to be sent flying by a backhand blow.
Then, with one hand, she seized Alvin Morgan by the throat.
Alvin’s face instantly flushed crimson. He clawed at her hand with both of his, the veins on his neck bulging one after another.
Leigh scrambled to her feet and threw herself at Aurora, wrapping her arms around her waist. "Senior Sister, don’t...!"
With one hand clamped firmly around Alvin’s throat, Aurora used the other to forcefully pry Leigh’s fingers off her and fling her aside.
Turning back to Alvin, she shoved him to the ground, straddled his chest, and seized his throat again, her gaze locked on his.
Pain filled Alvin’s eyes as he choked out, "Aurora... It’s me... Alvin..."
Aurora’s pupils constricted, and she froze, as if a word had pierced through the haze in her mind.
"Are you... going to kill me?"
The hand at his throat began to tremble, its pressure wavering, as if she were at war with herself.
Alvin held her gaze, repeating over and over, "It’s me, Alvin..."
"You said... you would protect me..."
The haze in Aurora’s eyes gradually cleared. Her fingers finally loosened from his throat, and she reached up to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth. "Alvin... Morgan... protect..."
Swallowing the blood that filled his throat, Alvin raised a hand to her cheek and managed a gentle smile. "Aurora... you’re tired... Just sleep for a while..."
Aurora blinked. The gray in her irises deepened, and the chaotic Power roiling around her began to subside. She slowly lowered herself, resting her head against his chest. Listening to the sound of his heartbeat, she closed her eyes...
