My Wife is a Hidden Big Shot-Chapter 210 - 204: You’re Just Like Your Master
The hospital where Elias Lennox was staying was very close to The Martial Alliance. When Aurora Sinclair and Leigh Miles arrived, they found several vehicles from The Martial Affairs Bureau parked at the entrance, one of which was Kevin Whitlock’s motorcycle.
"The freestyle fighting tournament is really popular right now. I’m thinking of signing up myself," Leigh Miles said, her gaze drifting toward a nearby skyscraper. She was getting antsy, and rumor had it the prize money was huge.
Aurora Sinclair reached out and tapped her on the head. "Don’t go looking for trouble."
"Fine..." Leigh pouted. ’Aurora’s just as old-fashioned as our master.’
The two took the stairs to the fifth-floor internal injury ward.
Leigh asked, confused, "Haven’t Elias’s internal injuries healed yet?"
The last time Aurora had injured him, Leigh had left him plenty of internal injury medicine—enough for a full recovery.
Aurora was also puzzled. ’With his skills, he shouldn’t have been hit by a car.’
They hurried to Elias Lennox’s VIP room, only to stop in their tracks. The entrance to the ward was packed with people, from fans of *Battle for Glory* to members of the media. Hospital security had cordoned off the area, prohibiting any visitors.
"Jeez, no wonder Elias told us not to use the main entrance."
Leigh stared at the pile of flowers, fruit baskets, and various fan gifts haphazardly stacked on the floor and shook her head in dismay. ’What a waste!’
Aurora led Leigh straight to the nurses’ station. She showed them her phone, and a young nurse with a broad smile asked, "Are you two Elias’s sisters?"
Aurora nodded.
The young nurse then took a keycard and led them on a detour through the staff-only corridor to enter the VIP ward.
"Here you go."
The two thanked her and knocked on the door.
"Come in..." a voice called out.
Aurora Sinclair turned the doorknob and pushed the door open.
Her gaze fell upon a familiar face by the window.
"What are you doing here?" Leigh exclaimed.
Kevin Whitlock was just as shocked. ’Elias has been going on and on about his junior sisters bringing him dinner tonight. Could he have meant these two?’
’Elias is from Sunstone, too?’
Aurora’s attention turned to the hospital bed. Elias Lennox’s left arm and abdomen were wrapped in bandages, and an unfamiliar young woman was feeding him fruit.
"You know him?"
Elias swallowed the fruit in his mouth, his gaze darting between Kevin Whitlock and Aurora with a curious, playful expression.
"We’ve met," Aurora said, nodding to Kevin. She then looked at Elias and asked, "Was he the one who hit you?"
Elias sheepishly rubbed his nose. "It was more like... I hit him..."
The young woman beside him immediately spoke up, her face full of apology. "I’m so sorry, it was all my fault."
She recounted the story of the accident for Aurora and Leigh.
She had been walking while looking at her phone, not watching where she was going, and was nearly hit by a car. Elias had pushed her out of the way, colliding with Kevin, who was passing by on his motorcycle.
Both men were injured, but Elias was hit so hard he coughed up blood on the spot and passed out.
Upon hearing this, Leigh immediately walked over and took hold of Elias’s wrist, her brow slowly furrowing. "Elias, didn’t you take the medicine I gave you?"
"I did, but it was so bitter..." Elias replied guiltily.
One look at his expression and Leigh knew he hadn’t been taking his medicine on schedule. Her face hardened. "Lie back down!" she ordered.
Elias immediately lay back down obediently, a grin on his face. "You’ll never find a boyfriend if you’re this fierce, you know!"
Leigh glared at him, then pursed her lips and pulled a small wooden box from her bag. She drew out an incredibly long silver needle. "What was that you just said, Elias? I didn’t quite hear you..."
The menacing glint of the silver needle made Elias swallow hard. "I... was joking... Hahaha..."
To Kevin’s astonishment, Leigh deftly placed several needles into Elias’s torso.
The woman standing nearby watched, her eyes lighting up.
’Is that a supermodel’s body?’
’He’s so ripped.’
Seeing Aurora watch Elias’s bare torso without the slightest hesitation, Kevin grew even more displeased.
He glanced at the food container on the table, snorted coldly, and said, "If there’s nothing else, I’m leaving." Then he strode out of the room.
As he walked, he sent a text to Alvin Morgan: [The girl you’ve set your sights on is now making soup for another man.]
DING—
Message failed to send.
Kevin’s face darkened as he glared at the small exclamation point next to the rejected message, a flash of annoyance in his eyes.

Meanwhile, the body discovered in Maple Leaf Valley was confirmed to be that of an ordinary E-level agent who had been in charge of the nighttime blockade.
Alvin Morgan stared at the three victims sketched out on the whiteboard, drawing a large question mark in the very center.
"Sir, Agent Zhang’s autopsy report is in. Cause of death was neurotoxin poisoning. The medical examiner found a needle mark on the back of his neck, but the weapon is missing. It was likely committed by an acquaintance."
As Beta Morgan spoke, a hint of worry crossed his face.
From the first assassin who targeted his boss to Agent Zhang now, it was clear The Martial Affairs Bureau had been thoroughly infiltrated by hostile forces.
’If this person is a high-ranking official in The Martial Affairs Bureau, the consequences will be unimaginable.’
"How did Aurora’s exam go?"
Beta Morgan froze, unable to process the sudden change in topic. He stared blankly at Alvin Morgan.
’Why the sudden jump to Aurora Sinclair?’
’Are his paternal instincts acting up again?’
’But I didn’t even say anything...?’
Seeing the look on his boss’s face, Beta’s expression tightened, and he quickly pulled out his phone to call Benjamin Morgan.
At that moment, the dean’s office at the Academy of History was practically under siege by several professors from the Academy of Arts.
They were all talking over each other, demanding that Aurora Sinclair join their project team.
Erin Archer’s head was pounding. ’Having such an exceptional student is its own kind of trouble.’
Gregory Sherman stated forcefully, "Dean Archer, my project is a national-level initiative. I urgently need a talent like her—someone who understands traditional Chinese painting, ancient art restoration, and has a high Combat Power."
If Joyce Guthrie hadn’t secretly told him that Aurora Sinclair was a Great Martial Master and a disciple of Master Flora Guthrie, he would have missed out on such a talent.
His current project had hit a bottleneck, and he desperately needed someone who was skilled in ancient painting restoration and also possessed high Combat Power.
There were very few people in The Martial Alliance who possessed both these skills. Many scholars disliked violence, just as many warriors had no taste for the arts and letters.
As a result, joint projects between the two associations were rare, which was one of the reasons the restoration of some Ancient Martial Inheritances progressed so slowly.
Erin Archer rubbed her aching temples. "Professor Sherman, it’s not that I don’t want to help you. That girl said she doesn’t have time for your project."
"Didn’t she apply for an attendance exemption?" Gregory Sherman shot back, his expression clearly saying, ’Don’t try to fool me.’ 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
Erin Archer sighed in resignation. ’News certainly travels fast.’
She had no choice but to call Aurora and have her reject Professor Sherman directly. To her surprise, Aurora actually agreed, but said she could only join the project team after she returned.
Gregory Sherman was naturally delighted. His face bloomed into a wide smile, and he readily agreed to wait for Aurora’s return.
After hanging up, Aurora sent a message to Flora Guthrie: [I’m in.]
[Master: Work hard once you’re in. It’s a good project, and the scholarship money isn’t bad either.]
[Aurora: How much?]
[Master: You’re just like your master! (angry emoji)]
Seeing Flora Guthrie staring at her phone, Joyce Guthrie perceptively walked over and began massaging her shoulders. "Master, will Aurora be joining our project team?"
Flora Guthrie subtly straightened up, moving away from her touch, and said flatly, "She won’t be joining us."
"Why not? Aurora is so talented..."
But Flora Guthrie just gave her a cold glance before walking over to her workbench and putting on her glasses.
Joyce Guthrie pressed her lips together, a cold glint flashing in her eyes.
’In that case, I won’t be holding back anymore.’
After leaving the studio, Joyce looked at the lights outside and whispered into her phone, "It’s time to move..."
