Her voice was a bit breathless.

Jared Quinn lifted his head, his large hand couldn’t help but gently caress her belly. For the previous times, to ensure she wouldn’t get pregnant, he had taken the medicine given by Dr. Moy,

"Do you think that because Timmy isn’t your biological child, you can’t see him as your son?" Jared Quinn questioned.

Melody Thorne’s expression turned somewhat indescribable for a moment. How could someone as shrewd as Jared Quinn make such a foolish mistake at a crucial moment? It was simply unbelievable.

Jared Quinn saw her expression and it only confirmed his suspicions further. His coarse thumb stroked her belly, "If that’s what you think, then we can have another, but the Quinn Corporation must be inherited by Timmy. I won’t mistreat our child either."

She stared at Jared Quinn as if looking at a monster.

Jared Quinn’s lips tightened, and his large hand slipped off the fabric on her shoulder, ready to conceive a child with her regardless of her consent. He definitely didn’t believe that once they had a child, Melody Thorne would still think about leaving.

"Go get Harold Chapman and Leon Rivers for me," Jared Quinn’s voice came from outside the bedroom, footsteps growing fainter as he seemed to head towards the study.

Melody Thorne knew that unless something significant happened, Jared Quinn wouldn’t call both Harold Chapman and Leon Rivers over simultaneously.

Could it be that he wanted to take action against Stella Seymour?

Melody Thorne uneasily tidied her clothes, attempting to go to Jared Quinn’s study to hear what they were discussing.

"Madam," the butler intercepted her, "Dinner is ready, please have your meal first."

Melody Thorne glared at the butler before heading downstairs.

Harold Chapman’s expression was serious as he stared at the man sitting at the head. "We discovered some matters in Country C. Last time there was indeed some connection with the Seymour Family, but it’s not certain that Seymour acted to take Madam away this time. It’s unknown who within the Seymour Family might be behind this."

"Her identity is too unbelievable," Leon Rivers rubbed his chin. "If she really intends to return, we might not be able to stop her."

According to their investigation, the Seymour Family also had substantial influence in Country C, comparable to the Quinn Family. If the two families clashed over someone, the consequences could be severe.

It’s unclear what Old Master Seymour is thinking. Wouldn’t it make perfect sense for the Seymour Family and the Quinn Family to become in-laws? Combined, no one would dare to provoke them.
