Melody Thorne felt a sudden sense of panic when she heard Titus Quinn’s voice. Instinctively, she grabbed Jared Quinn’s hand, but he pushed her away, and she couldn’t cling to him any longer.

She didn’t want to become a tool for others to use against Jared Quinn, though she didn’t know why Titus Quinn’s presence unsettled her so.

Jared Quinn went out and closed the bedroom door. Melody Thorne immediately scrambled off the big bed and hid behind the door.

"What exactly happened?" Titus Quinn asked anxiously.
