"Melody Thorne, who are you calling a mad dog?" The agent next to Luna Lancaster immediately put on a sullen face.

"Did I say you guys?" Melody Thorne looked a bit innocent. "I was just talking about a barking mad dog, I didn’t even mention the dog’s name."

A burst of laughter erupted around them. 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

Luna Lancaster glared at the people around her. "What are you laughing at?"

"Looks like I really didn’t rest well last night. I just had a hallucination and heard a dog barking again." Melody Thorne’s arm rested on Nina King’s shoulder as they walked towards the dressing room.

"Seems so," Nina King felt a warmth in her heart. After experiencing two years of low points where she had no friends at all, this was the first time she felt genuinely warm.

"Have you been reading the news lately? I heard many artists are particularly shameless, making agents work like slaves, completely treating them like nannies without any dignity, even making them hold umbrellas when there is no sun,

making them run dozens of miles in freezing cold weather to buy ice water, and all their commercial ads and TV dramas need the agents to accompany and exchange favors."

"I saw that, and I think I just saw them," Nina King nodded convincingly.

The two of them disappeared into the dressing room, while Luna Lancaster and her agent’s faces grew increasingly grim, especially her agent.

In this line of work, if they come across someone with a good temper but no opinion, naturally everything has to follow the agent’s arrangements. But if they encounter someone with a bad temper and an untouchable family background, like Luna Lancaster, they have to treat them like royalty,

being ordered around all day and night, worse than a servant.

Luna Lancaster turned back and caught her agent glaring at her resentfully. Angrily, she pinched her a few times. "What? You want me to serve you?"

"No... no," the agent didn’t even dare to dodge because she knew the more she dodged, the more Luna Lancaster would lay hands on her.

Everyone on set tacitly turned their heads away.

After finishing her makeup, Melody Thorne walked out of the dressing room, seeing Luna Lancaster looking at her with displeasure.

"Director Irving, there are a few scenes today that we don’t need to shoot together. How about we film separately and only do the last scene together?" Luna Lancaster spoke up.

However, this kind of filming really tests acting skills, especially in historical dramas where actors have to act opposite the air.

"Well..." Director Irving glanced at Melody Thorne, a bit worried. After all, Melody Thorne had just graduated from school and hadn’t even received her diploma yet. This kind of scene requires experienced actors. Can she handle it?

"Then let’s film separately. I’m not in the best condition today and keep hearing the sound of dog barking. I’m afraid filming together would affect my performance," Melody Thorne said.

Luna Lancaster bit her lip in anger, eager to see how much acting skill Melody Thorne had.

The scene wasn’t much, just Luna Lancaster’s character, the princess, coming to find her, asking her to persuade King Lyndon to come back for the unification of the four kingdoms for the dawn citizens.

One was outside the house, the other in the courtyard, and so they could perform one by one.

Melody Thorne stood inside the bamboo house set, looking at the newly drawn portrait of King Lyndon in her hand. The man under her brush came to life, handsome and cool. She looked at the portrait with satisfaction, as if seeing King Lyndon himself, her fingertips lightly brushed over his distinguished face.
