My Super Sassy Dad: Stop Running Away, Mrs. Quinn!-Chapter 228: Isn’t It?
The bedroom door was pushed open, and Melody Thorne walked in, placing the blanket aside and gently holding Timmy in her arms...
...
Early in the morning, at the film set, Melody Thorne was up by five to start her makeup in the dressing room.
It was a scene where she and the emperor watched the sunset together. The emperor, having schemed for so long to win over Willow Bright, was beginning to subtly entice her to conquer the world for him and complete his plot.
"Did you see the news?" Hans Montrose sat beside her, waiting, and showed her his phone. It was full of news about the Adler Family smuggling contraband, and Ivy being released again, but unfortunately, she ended up in a mental hospital.
Some of the fans who previously followed her and Ivy’s situation were divided, with half saying she asked for it, while the other half felt very sorry for her.
"I saw it," Melody Thorne curled up her lips, "She’s harsh enough on herself."
"You think she’s not crazy?" Hans Montrose furrowed his brows.
"Isn’t it obvious?"
Hans Montrose: "..."
"In the entertainment circle, these things are nothing new. She might be pretending to be crazy so everyone knows, just to avoid penalties for contraband. People who are harsh on themselves will definitely be harsher on others," Nina King lit a cigarette and started smoking.
Back in the day, she almost got caught up too. The most unpredictable thing is people’s hearts.
Hans Montrose pondered, "Why not have someone send her abroad?"
At the very least, keep her far away from Melody Thorne, so she won’t get any more ill ideas.
"That’s what I was thinking too," Melody Thorne nodded. If she can’t be locked up, she must be kept far away.
The only thing is, Jared Quinn has to agree. Even though she’s moved to a mental hospital, Harold Chapman’s people are still watching, so Jared Quinn has to agree.
Outside, on the temporary set.
The sun slowly rose, as the emperor passionately held Willow Bright’s hand to watch the sunrise. The brilliant red glow elongated their shadows, making the affectionate pair perfectly matched.
"A-Lyn, why don’t we build a house here? Live in seclusion, watch the sunset every day, and no longer care about the mundane affairs of the world,"
Willow Bright’s eyes were filled with deep longing, yearning to be with the man she loved most for a lifetime.
But King Lyndon, always scheming, immediately agreed, pulling Willow Bright into his arms and tenderly kissing her on the forehead, "Alright, I promise you."
Hearing her favorite man agree, Willow Bright was touched deep inside.
He was willing to give up power, and so was she,
King Lyndon held the woman in his arms, but what was reflected in his eyes was a vast empire. Once Willow Bright had her moment of happiness, he sighed softly.
"What’s wrong, A-Lyn?" Willow Bright raised her head.
"Nothing," King Lyndon said, acting as if he didn’t want her to know, having already started a deeper plot.
"Cut," the director called for a pause.
Hans Montrose released Melody Thorne, his enchanting eyes filled with a slight smile, "I didn’t expect your acting skills to be this good."
Just like him, she got it in one take.
"I got into character quickly because I saw you," Melody Thorne playfully ducked away from Hans Montrose’s big hand trying to ruffle her hair and quickly walked toward the changing room. She promised Timmy to spend the afternoon with him, and before returning to the Quinn Family, she had to visit the mental hospital.
Oh, right, Jared is still locked in the bedroom. She forgot about it when she got up in the morning. Is he frozen into an ice block by now?
Melody Thorne took out her phone but then put it back down, assuming the butler had gone to Jared’s room by now.
