"Timmy," Leon Rivers glanced at Jared Quinn and noticed the man showed no intention of stopping him; it was obvious that Melody Thorne was free to know.

Only a few people were aware of this matter.

"Timmy was born when, four years ago, the old man suddenly fell seriously ill. Many hospitals had no solution, saying the old man could only hold on for another year at most. But the old man dearly wanted a grandson. Unfortunately, Jared had no woman by his side, let alone touched one, so..." Leon Rivers hesitated a bit, feeling somewhat embarrassed.

He didn’t notice that each time he spoke, Melody Thorne’s gaze on him was tense.

"So what?" Melody Thorne clenched her hands tightly.

"So, I came up with a solution for Jared," Leon Rivers said with a hint of pride.

"What solution?" Melody Thorne felt a lump in her throat. In her past life, she only learned from Ivy on her deathbed that Timmy was actually her child. Even though she now already knew, she still didn’t understand what had happened back then.

Leon Rivers thought she was genuinely concerned about Timmy’s existence, so he continued without noticing, "So, I thought of a perfect solution for Jared."

"What solution?" Melody Thorne gritted her teeth.

"For having a child, it simply involves cooperation between a man and a woman. Jared is a man, so, naturally, he had to find a woman. Time was pressing, and coincidentally, a woman contacted me, saying there was a girl willing to donate the YY body inside her, so I used it."

Melody Thorne: "!!".

"However, that girl seemed pretty good. All these years, she never came to ask for money or tried to blackmail me," he added.

"Did she know you?" Melody Thorne’s face grew colder as she looked at Leon Rivers.

"She... probably didn’t know me," Leon Rivers scratched his chin. "The woman who brought her for the donation covered her face. I just took what I needed and left."

Melody Thorne: "!!!".

She now understood; she remembered four years ago, she fainted while out with Ivy. When she woke up, Ivy deceived her, saying they had been drugged by some unknown people but were luckily unharmed.

Back then, Ivy was undoubtedly planning to frame her once the child was born, ruin her reputation, so the old Mr. Quinn wouldn’t consider her as a daughter-in-law for the Quinn Family anymore.

Mrs. Quinn always believed that Ivy was the right choice, so she would have won.

But she surely didn’t anticipate that the child would turn out to be Jared Quinn’s.

"So, sister-in-law, you don’t need to worry about this matter; unless that woman returns, oh no, even if she does return, she won’t take your place. Jared only has eyes for one woman..." he trailed off.

"Bang!" Melody Thorne uncontrollably grabbed a wine bottle and hurled it at Leon Rivers.

Leon Rivers’ face changed drastically as he quickly dodged to the side, avoiding it. The bottle shattered against the wall.

All the men in the private room, including Jared Quinn, turned their incredulous gazes towards Melody Thorne.

Melody Thorne couldn’t hold it in anymore, especially seeing Leon Rivers dodge her; both he and Ivy were the culprits. She grabbed whatever she could from the table and kept throwing it at Leon Rivers.

"Sister-in-law, sister-in-law, I’m just telling you the truth! Is there a need to be so violent?" Leon Rivers dodged, already hit several times by Melody Thorne. "Jared, Jared, stop her."

There are so many people here; he needs to save face somehow.
