"It was my brother-in-law who gave it to me; I haven’t spent a single penny of the Thorne Family’s money," Finn Thorne spoke up.

"You’re the one who gave him his living expenses?" Melody Thorne looked up at the man’s firm and cold jawline, feeling a pang in her chest. She suddenly felt like she was making a fuss every day for nothing.

This life was completely different from the previous one.

"Of course, I would give it to your brother," Jared Quinn spoke up, but the money was actually disbursed by the housekeeper each month and transferred to Finn Thorne’s account regularly. As for what he used it for, Jared never asked.

"A perfect brother-in-law," Finn Thorne gave a thumbs-up,

Wearing a dark gray tracksuit, with a tall and slender figure and strikingly handsome features, but his hair was dyed in red and green, making him look like a little punk.

Melody Thorne took a deep breath and, meeting Jared Quinn’s gaze, looked away, "Stop giving it to him."

"Sis, are you really related by blood?"

"Shut up."

Jared Quinn turned his gaze to the housekeeper, "Notify all the entertainment venues in Stellaria to ban Finn Thorne from entering. If he shows up, send him away."

"Brother-in-law, you don’t have to be so serious," Finn Thorne howled miserably, feeling hopeless.

"You’re coming with me to the Thorne Family," Melody Thorne grabbed the car keys.

She hadn’t even confronted them about the Thorne Group’s issues, and they had already come looking for her.

The car quickly stopped outside the Thorne Group’s headquarters.

"What are you doing? Stop! You need to report to see Mr. Thorne," the receptionist shouted.

Melody Thorne sneered and closed the elevator door, "Everything here belongs to the Thorne Family. I can enter whenever I want."

"Sis, what exactly are we doing here?"

Melody Thorne stared straight ahead, "If you can’t take back the Thorne Family, you might as well stop calling yourself my brother."

Finn Thorne looked at Melody Thorne, realizing she wasn’t joking, a knot forming in his chest.

"Uncle," Melody Thorne pushed open the office door and walked in.

Terence Thorne’s face immediately turned dark upon seeing them, "Who allowed you to come in here?"

Melody Thorne walked over and slapped an envelope onto the desk, "It’s been a long time, Uncle. Today, Aunt called saying she wants to clear out the Thorne Family villa, so I’m here to congratulate you. You’ve finally fulfilled your wish, turning what wasn’t originally yours into your own."

Terence Thorne’s face dramatically changed, "What nonsense are you talking about? This was originally mine."

"Oh, really?" Melody Thorne pointed to the envelope in front of him.

Terence Thorne’s gaze fell on the envelope, and as he opened it and saw the photos inside, his face changed dramatically, slamming them back onto the desk, "How did you get this?"

It was a place where he secretly met with the Adler Family’s people a few years ago. That night, they had planned how to pull everything that wasn’t originally his into his hands.

"I also have recordings here. If Uncle wants to listen, or if you want everyone in Stellaria to hear it, go ahead and have Aunt mess with the Thorne Family’s belongings."

"You’re threatening me?" Terence Thorne squinted his eyes.

"I wouldn’t call it a threat," Melody Thorne pointed to the seat he was in, "I won’t reclaim this position for now, but don’t push me. If you push too hard, it won’t be good for any of us!"

"I’ll leave the photos with you, Uncle. I have backups."

Terence Thorne watched her leave arrogantly, slamming his hands forcefully onto the desk. How could the events of that year have been caught on camera by someone else?

"Sis, what did you show him?" Finn Thorne’s eyes sparkled with an indecipherable light,

"Don’t call me sister anymore," Melody Thorne got into the car.
