By the time Yang Chen returned to Emperor Garden, it was already almost four in the morning.

But the lights in Emperor Garden were still on.

"Thank you, drive safe," Yang Chen said to the driver who brought him back.

The guard saluted Yang Chen and then drove off.

Yang Chen walked to the door, patted his pockets, and found he hadn’t brought his keys.

As he was about to knock, Chen Siyan flung the door open and, upon seeing Yang Chen, excitedly shouted, "It’s my brother, he’s back!"

The two people inside immediately ran out.

"You drank so much. How did you make it back?" Ye Xin asked worriedly.

Yang Chen laughed and said, "No worries, someone gave me a ride."

As he spoke, his gaze fell on Wei Xueqing.

Wei Xueqing looked thrilled and excited, "You’re back."

Yang Chen looked at the two suspiciously and asked, "What are you two whispering about? Something you can’t share with me?"

"Nothing!" Yang Chen replied with a mischievous smile.

To Chen Siyan, this look was anything but "nothing," and she angrily said, "You’re up to no good, aren’t you!"

"No!" Yang Chen steadfastly replied.

"I don’t believe you!" Chen Siyan huffed angrily.

Yang Chen shook his head with a laugh and looked at Ye Xin, "Why aren’t you guys asleep yet?"

Ye Xin, holding onto Wei Xueqing’s arm, said, "We haven’t seen each other in a month, we have so much to talk about, of course, we can’t sleep."

"Yeah! I’ve been worried sick during this time," Wei Xueqing also held onto Ye Xin’s hand.

The two of them looked as close as sisters.

Yang Chen helplessly said, "Whatever you have to say can be said tomorrow, it’s almost four in the morning. If you don’t sleep, you’ll have dark circles tomorrow."
