Chapter 577: Chapter 428: Alice’s Ultimate Battleship (6K)

When Vivian woke up from her dreams, Shen Sui was sitting by the bed peeling an orange.

"Good morning, Vivian." Shen Sui sensed Vivian’s presence and said with a smile.

Outside the window, the bright morning light poured into the room through the window.

Under the blessing of magic, the room’s temperature was very warm, completely insulating it from the winter chill outside. But Vivian wasn’t in a hurry to get out of bed; she tugged at the quilt, wrapping herself tighter, evidently planning to stay in bed longer.

"You’ve already slept for over ten hours, and you still want more?" Shen Sui stuffed the peeled orange into Vivian’s quilt, the sudden cold feeling made Vivian reluctantly crawl out of bed, take a bite of the orange, and mumble, "I’ve been busy for hundreds of years; can’t I just rest properly for once? Not sleeping for a few years is already quite good."

"Enough already." Shen Sui rolled his eyes grumpily and said, "If An Hai finds out that his sister has been staying at my place for a few days without leaving, do you believe he’ll visit me tomorrow?"

"What?" Vivian smiled mischievously, "You want to sleep with another’s sister but won’t allow them to come knocking?"

However, Vivian had indeed rested enough, and after shooing Shen Sui out of the room, she began changing clothes.

After eating the breakfast meticulously prepared by Qishala, Vivian finally officially announced her return.

"Speaking of which." Shen Sui suddenly spoke to Vivian, who was preparing to redecorate his room, "Alice over there has made a ship, are you interested in enchanting it?"

"Enchant?" Vivian blinked and said, "Are you planning to turn this ship into a cosmic-level battleship?"

Normal enchanting work didn’t require Vivian to do it; even Shen Sui herself, Alice could complete it.

"That’s the plan." Shen Sui intended for the ship to be Alice’s base during adventures in other worlds, because Alice couldn’t always borrow Vivian’s Candlelight Illusion powers to create a logical avatar to enter other worlds. "After all, she will need to venture into other Soul Card Worlds in the future."

Vivian immediately understood Shen Sui’s meaning: "You’re planning to pass your work onto Alice?"

"Should be possible, right?"

"It’s not impossible." Vivian said, rubbing her chin.

She had already dealt with the major troubles and challenges, even when she really had to handle other issues, sending Alice wasn’t impossible. Not to mention, while introducing the recent situation at the dining table earlier, Shen Sui mentioned the Treasure Card Magic Guidebook he made for Alice, which could summon Qishala to assist in battles.

"Only you, who understand these varied Soul Card World environments, can make this battleship adapt better to the environments." Shen Sui said.

Vivian’s mouth twitched: "Do you know how difficult it is to make a battleship adapt to all worldviews? Just dealing with those in the Fantasy World would be fine, but within these Soul Card Worlds, there are even Science Fiction Worlds, and all the way to Interstellar Worlds too. Do you want this battleship to be capable of interstellar travel?"

Hearing Vivian’s words, Shen Sui was very pleased and replied like a demanding boss: "Yes, yes, exactly like that!"

Vivian sighed and said, "How can this be done? Even if I can set up such a magic array, won’t the battleship need to have a good enough base to endure such magical engravings? Alice can’t possibly make the battleship entirely out of floating phoenix wood, can she?"

Shen Sui said nothing, but just looked at Vivian with a smile that seemed to indicate his amusement.

Vivian was very familiar with Shen Sui’s expression.

"She’s not really done it, has she?" Vivian said, her eyes wide with disbelief.

Shen Sui nodded slowly.

Vivian rubbed her forehead: "This little girl..."

Despite her vast experience, Vivian was a bit incredulous when she saw Alice built a battleship out of floating phoenix wood.

"Where did you get so much floating phoenix wood?" Vivian liked using floating phoenix wood as a base material when crafting items, and when Alice engaged in such wasteful behavior, she glared at Shen Sui in annoyance.

Shen Sui coughed twice and said, "You know, my situation was a bit special at that time; those materials were not truly rare to me."

Vivian knew Shen Sui’s uniqueness too and sighed, "Even so, it can’t be wasted like this. Only you could let Alice be so prodigal."

Nevertheless, Vivian wasn’t boasting; she said that if certain conditions could be met, she really could accomplish it.

If Alice’s battleship was really made entirely of floating phoenix wood, Vivian indeed had a way to make it adaptable to all Soul Card Worlds.

Possessing capabilities for sailing, flying, and even interstellar travel; shrinking small enough to fit within a storage ring; adaptable to all Soul Card Worlds’ environments; and additionally equipped with a degree of defensive capability.

But with such high demands, even the floating phoenix wood would be pushed to the limit.

Since Alice’s ship was almost finished, Vivian had to temporarily abandon her room renovation project and focus her main energy on designing the enchantment scheme for the battleship.
