My stepsisters are sexy demons, and I must protect them-Chapter 89: The high school hero
Chapter 89: The high school hero
«Wow! You really took down Tony Caspada and his bootlickers in an instant?!»
«You’re seriously amazing! If I had a boyfriend like you, I wouldn’t be afraid of anything anymore!»
Hakuto hasn’t even set foot inside Aurelio High yet—the school he’ll attend for just a few days to spend more time with Rika, Yuzu, and Chantal—and already, his name is the stuff of legend.
Yuzu’s hunch was right: before they even made it home, Lucrezia had already shared it in strict confidence with her friends... who then, in equally strict confidence, told their other friends... and so on.
In no time, the name Hakuto Tendo had spread like wildfire among all the teenagers in Rome.
And now, he finds himself surrounded by a crowd of admirers—almost all of them girls, of course.
Rika, Yuzu, and Chantal have gone full jealous mode.
They’ve formed a protective circle around him—like bodyguards around a celebrity—to keep that horde of girls at bay.
Right at the front of the crowd stands Lucrezia, even more fired up than the rest.
«Let the blonde through. She’s got the Big Bro Ticket,» Yuzu says with the seriousness and professionalism of a real bodyguard, placing a hand on her ear as if talking through an earpiece.
As soon as Yuzu opens a small gap in the circle, Lucrezia slips through instantly.
She launches herself at Hakuto and wraps her arms around his neck in a tight hug.
«Thank you... really, thank you for what you did yesterday... No one’s ever had the guts to stand up to that thug like that. You’re my hero, Hakuto...» Lucrezia whispers sweetly in his ear.
«Come on, it was nothing...» Hakuto murmurs—slightly embarrassed, but clearly happy to be thanked.
Then, Lucrezia pulls her head back a little.
She rises up on tiptoes and...
—SMACK!
She kisses Hakuto on the lips.
Hakuto’s eyes go wide at the unexpected gesture, while Lucrezia keeps hers gently closed, lost in the moment.
She holds his cheeks with both hands, pulling him slightly closer. fɾeeweɓnѳveɭ.com
A short, innocent kiss—just a few seconds—is enough to drive Rika and Chantal absolutely mad.
They never liked the idea of the Big Bro Ticket to begin with—and never even took it seriously, thinking it was just one of Yuzu’s usual jokes.
«We’ve been busting our asses to protect you from this army of horny girls, and that’s how you repay us? Throwing yourself into the arms of the first one who shows up?! If you’re so eager to flirt around, then go ahead!» Chantal snaps.
She releases her grip and stepping away from the protective circle she formed with Rika and Yuzu.
«No, wait, Chantal, I wasn’t—»
But Hakuto doesn’t have time to finish. It’s already too late.
With the circle broken, dozens of girls charge at him, swarming him like a human avalanche.
Hakuto’s arm sticks out from beneath the pile, flailing helplessly in search of rescue.
But Chantal and Rika just stare down at him from above, arms crossed and eyes full of disdain.
«Let this be a lesson, stupid Hakuto!» Rika grumbles.
Yuzu simply watches the scene with a nervous smile—it’s all her fault.
«Oops... I really messed up this time...» Yuzu murmurs, as she scratches the back of her head.

«Damn it... Because of Rika and Chantal, I’m gonna be late to class on my first day... What a great first impression...» Hakuto mutters while scrubbing his face vigorously in the school bathroom.
His face has turned bright red—not from blood, but from the lipstick left by the army of girls who had swarmed him.
Hakuto rinses off his face in the sink.
When he lifts his head, he sees a girl reflected in the mirror—leaning casually against the doorway behind him.
He freezes for a second, both from the surprise—classes have already started, so he wasn’t expecting to see anyone wandering around—and, more than anything, from how stunning she is.
She’s probably his age. Long, straight black hair, a neat fringe resting just above two striking eyes—one green, the other blue.
The tips of her hair are dyed pink, matching the color of her gym tracksuit, which clings tightly to her chest and hips, leaving little to the imagination.
A black choker wraps around her neck.
Hakuto pretends not to notice her.
He keeps washing and rewashing his face until all traces of lipstick are gone.
«You’re pretty popular for it being your first day,» she says with an amused tone.
«Let’s not talk about it...» Hakuto mumbles. «Anyway, do you know where class 3-B is? My sisters probably told me, but with all the chaos, I forgot. I’d like to avoid being even later.»
«3-B? So we’re in the same class,» she replies.
«Then why are you in the boys’ bathroom instead of class...?»
She shrugs.
«I wanted to skip the first-hour quiz, that’s all. At this school, if you’re more than ten minutes late, they make you wait until the end of the period to enter. And by pure bad luck, I showed up fifteen minutes late. So now I have to wait it out. Same goes for you, Hakuto Tendo.»
Hakuto isn’t surprised at all that she knows his name—by now, everyone does.
«So, what do people usually do while waiting to get into class?» Hakuto asks.
She gives him a sly grin that suggests trouble.
«Come with me.»
He follows her without hesitation.
They climb the three flights of stairs quickly, reaching the school’s huge rooftop.
Trailing just a step behind, Hakuto can’t help but keep his eyes glued to her butt—not nearly as voluptuous as Rika’s, but clearly toned and well-shaped, accentuated by her tight tracksuit pants.
«Oh, right. I haven’t introduced myself yet. I’m Elisabeth Azuralis. Nice to meet you,» she says.
Elisabeth sits on the ground, her back against the wall.
One leg stretched out, the other bent, eyes gazing at the sky.
«Elisabeth Azuralis... That doesn’t sound very Italian. Anyway, nice to meet you. I’m—well, you already know,» Hakuto replies, forcing a sheepish smile.
«Yeah, I’m not Italian. I come from... let’s just say, very far away,» she says vaguely.
Then she pulls a cigarette pack from her tracksuit jacket.
She brings it to her mouth, pulls one out with her lips, and offers the pack to Hakuto.
Hakuto just shakes his head.
«I see,» she murmurs, lighting her own.
With smoke drifting from her lips, she glances toward Hakuto.
«Does the smell bother you?» she asks, puzzled.
«My dad used to smoke at home. I got used to it,» he replies, staring at her mismatched eyes with quiet fascination, careful not to make it obvious.
«I see... Anyway, you were really gutsy to teach those thugs a lesson. For years, I’ve heard people say things like, "One day I’ll make Tony and his crew pay!" but no one ever actually did anything. Can’t blame them though—no one wants to die. It took Hakuto Tendo to finally put them in their place,» she says, exhaling another puff.
«The way you said that makes me sound like some kind of hero or school savior.»
She glances at him from the corner of her eye.
«Well, in a way, you are. One of his guys goes to this school, and you have no idea the mess he causes—everyone’s afraid to run into him in the halls. But today, thanks to you, he’s in the hospital, probably fuming... and yet you seem pretty calm for someone who’s become a target of one of the city’s most dangerous punks.»
Hakuto gives a small smile.
«Believe me, I’ve got much bigger problems right now than a bunch of delinquents...»
«Yeah, I can imagine...»
Then her smile deepens.
«...a bunch of bullies must feel like nothing compared to what comes from N’Raeth.»
