Chapter 221: <Tamer>

"You chose me? Ha." Grey scoffed, narrowing his eyes at the woman in front of him.

"Who do you think you are?"

"That’s a little harsh," she replied, her expression falling into an exaggerated pout. "The moment I saw you in that darkness, and your face, I fell in love. So, please don’t leave me."

"..." Grey blinked, completely flabbergasted. Did she just fall in love with me at first sight?

Taking a slow breath to steady himself, he asked, "Are you, the Diamond Soul Grimoire?"

"Mm-hmm," she giggled, locking eyes with him. "What else could I be?"

"I see... I see." Grey nodded slowly, his expression settling into calm. His eyes sharpened as he asked:

"So, are you willing to be tamed by me?"

"Yeah," the woman replied, her voice smooth as silk.

She gracefully folded her legs, drawing attention to her flawless figure, her tight qipao hugging every curve. Her black stockings clung to her long, slender legs, accentuating the shape of her thighs with every subtle movement.

Her chest rose softly with each breath, the fabric of her outfit doing little to conceal the full swell of her breasts.

It was the kind of sight that could melt most men on the spot.

But Grey simply shook his head. ’She’s a Grimoire, not even a real person, probably. This body could be completely fake.’

As if hearing his thoughts, the woman narrowed her eyes.

"This is my original body. What do you mean, ’fake,’ brat?"

Grey stiffened. "Wait, this is your original body?"

His eyes widened in disbelief. "No, hold on... you can read my mind?!"

"Yeah, everything that happens in this place can be read by me—your thoughts included," she said with a nod. Step by step, she walked up to him, her long, slender legs gliding forward, her hips swaying in a slow, rhythmic motion. She stopped just in front of him and leaned in to whisper:

"So, will you do it or not?"

"Yeah, sure," Grey replied with a confident smile.

He was certain he could handle whatever this woman threw at him. He had plenty of tricks up his sleeve, and if push came to shove, he could always have the main body purchase something that would give him a direct advantage.

The moment he accepted, a bright red light flashed, and Grey opened his eyes, once again surrounded by darkness.

Just like that, he had tamed the Diamond Soul Grimoire with surprising ease.

[You have tamed a Diamond Soul Grimoire]

[You have gained the title <Tamer>]

<Tamer>

Your mere presence radiates dominance. The likelihood of making any creature more submissive increased several fold.

It was a non-exclusive title, Eryke and the other clones can use it too.

Even so, at this moment, the nine were staring at him as if he were a god. Their gazes brimmed with awe and fanaticism. The two younger girls and the mature woman even blushed.

’This charm effect... is far too terrifying.’

The speed at which he tamed the grimoire completely stunned the other nine.

"Is... isn’t this basically cheating?"

"The only person who ever tamed a Diamond-ranked Grimoire in a single day was a Grand Book Master. But he did it in seconds, does that make him stronger than even that guy?" the mature woman murmured in disbelief.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." Grey shrugged with casual indifference.

He figured his spiritual htz must’ve spiked because of the new title. It had instantly boosted his spirit energy output to absurd levels.

But even without the title, Grey believed that his stacked skills would’ve let him reach this level eventually. He was confident that given time, he could tame any grimoire.

Still, even he hadn’t expected to tame one this easily.

Wasn’t this shit supposed to be hard?

This <Charm> skill was perfect for him.

Just then, the mature woman asked: "Do you know what class the grimoire is?"

"It’s a Diamond Soul Grimoire," Grey replied nonchalantly. "As for its name, I don’t know."

The mature woman froze.

The other eight glanced at him too, and a trace of pity flickered in their eyes.

Noticing their strange expressions, Grey frowned: "Why are you all looking at me like that?"

"Did you know the Diamond Soul Grimoire killed its previous user?" the mature woman said, her voice laced with disbelief.

"Really?" Grey tilted his head, his face the picture of innocence.

"Yeah, really and that was a Grandmaster, no less. You think you’re stronger than him?" she asked, her voice tinged with challenge.

"I don’t know." Grey raised his hand in surrender. "But I feel like she wouldn’t kill. Would you?"

A bright red light suddenly flashed as the Diamond Soul Grimoire emerged from his body, hovering gently in the air and nudging him softly, as if pledging her allegiance.

"Also, do you have a name?" Grey asked, curiosity flickering in his eyes. Every Grimoire had a name, some of them given by their previous owner, some of them known instinctively from birth.

"Yeah, I have one. Lilith, the Soul Goddess. Hmph," Lilith replied, her tone dripping with disdain.

"Lilith, the soul goddess?" Grey wondered, puzzled in his heart because this woman didn’t look like a goddess at all!

"Yes, dear. Now give me a kiss." The giant book floated closer, nearly face-planting in front of him.

Grey felt the heavy weight pressing against his face—around sixty kilograms and about two feet tall. Definitely one huge book. He frowned.

"How fat are you?" fгeewёbnoѵel_cσm

"That’s not how you talk to your woman, dear," Lilith replied softly, her voice surprisingly gentle.

"Alright, alright." Grey sighed, trying to move the Grimoire off his face, "Get off me and tell me about your abilities."

"Well..." Lilith purred in a sultry tone, "for that, I’d need to kiss you first."

"How are you even going to kiss me in your Grimoire form?" Grey shouted, tilting his head in frustration.

"I’ll do it like this," Lilith said sweetly.

The tip of the floating Grimoire suddenly tapped against his forehead.

A blinding red light burst out, flooding the dark space with intense radiance.
