My Seven Wives in One Body and Me, her Manager-Chapter 124: Inter-Branch School Competition
The next morning, Dennis and Daisy headed to school while Diana and Dulcia went out to scout for furniture for the new house. Donna and Daphne headed to a thrift store to donate the unused clothes they had packed yesterday, while Deborah and Dahlia tidied up the apartment—specifically their weapons and lab equipment. As Dennis walked through the school gates,
"Good morning, Senior Dennis, Senior Daisy!"
A few tenth graders they passed greeted them. Dennis and Daisy simply smiled and nodded back, which clearly made the younger students’ day. As they ran into other tenth graders, those students also greeted the pair, asking all sorts of questions as they walked along. Then Dennis noticed a crowd in front of the school building and saw Jason and Kimberly being swarmed by tenth graders as well. Dennis and Daisy immediately approached them.
"Hey, bro," Dennis greeted.
"Yo, dude," Jason replied.
They all walked into the school together, since they were now in the same class. They headed up the stairs to their classroom, and upon entering, they saw Gary and Olivia already sitting in their seats. The four of them immediately approached Gary and Olivia.
"Yo, dude," Jason said.
"You guys finally made it," Gary replied.
"Yeah, just now," Dennis said.
"So, how’s the house? Everything good?" Olivia asked.
"It’s all set, we went for it. It’s perfect for us, even though the price was a bit over our budget, but it’s no big deal, right honey?" Daisy answered.
"Something like that," Dennis added as he sat down in his seat behind Gary.
Daisy sat next to Dennis, while Jason and Kimberly took the desks next to them.
"So, aren’t you guys also buying a house?" Gary asked Jason and Kimberly.
"Well... but we’re buying in the west area, near my family. The plan is for Jason and me to move there after graduation and start building a family," Kimberly answered.
"Yeah, exactly. But Kim and I are still going to be hunters; we’ll just live out there, right Kim?" Jason asked.
"Right. As long as we don’t have kids yet, we’ll work as hunters," Kimberly replied.
"That means after graduation, we’ll all be doing training at the hunter guild, just like Ivan and the others," Dennis muttered.
"Yep, that’s right. We’ll be heading there too," Olivia replied.
"Living in a dorm in the south for a year... shouldn’t be a problem," Jason said.
"That’s the way it is... I mean, we could technically commute, but it’d be exhausting," Gary replied.
"It’s only for a year. After that, we can go back to our respective homes even while working as hunters. We just have to request our territory assignments," Daisy said.
"Exactly, so it’s not an issue," Gary replied.
"By the way, what time did you guys head home from Brad’s reception yesterday?" Dennis asked.
"Hmm... probably about two hours after you, man. We were the last to leave with Ivan and the rest once all the guests had gone," Gary answered.
"Did you see the video, dude?" Jason asked.
"Yeah... I didn’t even want to watch it," Dennis answered.
"For sure. I didn’t want to see it either since I saw the whole thing go down right in front of my eyes," Gary said.
"Elisa’s parents looked absolutely horrified watching Bella. Yesterday was a total disaster," Jason added.
"But at least it happened at the very end of the reception, right? Not during the vows. All the important parts were already over," Dennis replied.
"Yeah, exactly. So it wasn’t that big of a deal. You could say the reception was a success and they looked happy," Gary replied.
"Well, that’s what matters most, isn’t it? One person shouldn’t be able to ruin everything," Jason added.
Then Dennis, Gary, and Jason turned to look at Daisy, Olivia, and Kimberly, who seemed completely absorbed in their own world next to them. Kimberly had even moved to the front just to be closer to her two friends.
"And they still seem to be having a blast talking about what happened yesterday, even though they were chatting about it until late last night," Gary replied, listening in on his wife’s conversation with her two friends.
"Women, dude... women," Jason replied, shaking his head.
"That’s just how it is; you’ve just got to accept it," Dennis added, leaning back and relaxing.
Then the school bell rang, and everyone in the class immediately took their seats. A female teacher named Julia, who taught the twelfth grade, entered the room and began her lesson. Dennis listened to the lecture while leaning back comfortably. Daisy, sitting next to him, placed her hand on his thigh, and Dennis grasped her hand. They listened to the lesson in peace, until their heads suddenly became noisy.
"Hey... we don’t need a new L-shaped sofa like this, do we?" Dulcia asked inside Dennis and Daisy’s heads as they received the telepathic signal.
It seemed Dulcia and Diana were browsing inside a home furnishing and hardware store. Then Diana’s voice piped up.
"We do. the current one is too small; it won’t fit all eight of us," Diana answered.
"But it’s expensive. Do you even have the money?" Dulcia asked.
"Hmm... it’s enough. The price isn’t actually that bad," Diana replied.
"It’s too soft. We’ll all get lazy, plus it’s way too big for our living room at the house," Dulcia countered.
"Stop complaining already. We’re just looking for now, we haven’t made a decision yet. The important thing is to take the brochures and have my minion photograph them," Diana shot back.
"Fine, fine... just make sure we discuss it first. Don’t just go buying things on a whim," Dulcia replied.
"Hey... we’re done donating the clothes! There are tons of nice outfits here—can we buy some?" Donna shouted from the thrift store.
"Just buy them," Daphne replied.
"Wait, Daphne, what are you carrying? That’s so many books. Are you buying all of them?" Donna asked.
"Oh, these? No, I’m just looking," Daphne answered.
"If you’re just looking, why did you grab all the books? What are you doing?" Donna replied.
"I grabbed them because these are all my favorites and now I’m confused about which one to buy," Daphne replied.
"You really... you’re hopeless... totally hopeless. So, can I buy the hoodie and the shoes? Answer me," Donna shouted, sounding annoyed.
"Whatever!" Diana and Dulcia shouted back at the same time.
"Hey... can you all shut up? I’m trying to clean our apartement," Deborah yelled.
"Exactly... be quiet," Dahlia added.
Eventually, the voices of the other six filled Dennis and Daisy’s heads, talking about all sorts of things, debating, and occasionally arguing. Dennis and Daisy turned to look at each other and smiled. Dennis squeezed Daisy’s hand and she leaned against his arm while they tuned into the lesson in front of them and listened to the chatter of the other six scattered all over the place in the city.

During lunch break, as Dennis, Daisy, Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly were leaving the classroom, they were stopped by Steve, who had come looking for them.
"Can the six of you follow me?" Steve asked.
"What’s up, sir?" Dennis asked.
"The inter-school matches between the North, East, West, Central, and South branches of Emerald Military Academy are coming up. I want to discuss that with you. Can I have just five minutes of your time?" Steve asked.
"Sure, sir. You guys are all okay with that, right?" Dennis asked.
"We’re good," Gary answered for the rest of them.
"Alright, follow me to the faculty lounge," Steve replied.
They immediately walked behind Steve toward the lounge to discuss the annual tournament between the public branch schools to see who would represent Emerald Military Academy at the city level.
"So it’s that time again," Dennis muttered as they walked.
"Looks like it. And this time... I’m using my own strength," Daisy said.
"You’re much stronger than you used to be," Dennis replied.
"Yep... it’s all thanks to you training me. Thanks, honey," Daisy replied cheerfully.
"You’re welcome, honey," Dennis replied.
Then Dennis used his Analyze skill on Daisy to see his wife’s current status after her several training sessions in the Dimensional Training over the last ten months. Dennis had intentionally given Daisy specialized training so she would grow stronger than the others.
****************************************************
Name : Daisy Larson.
Race : High Human.
Class : Samurai.
Power : 22,500
Health : 12,000 / 12,000.
Stamina : 11,500 / 11,500.

"Hmm... she’s gotten way stronger. Even if she’s not quite like her sisters, she’s far ahead of Gary, Olivia, Jason, and Kimberly, who average between 12,000 and 15,000. That training in the Dimensional Training Room definitely paid off," Dennis muttered in his head.
[Correct, Master. Your wife is now the number two on your team.]
"I don’t have to worry anymore. Before, I was a bit concerned because if her six personalities were outside her body, she’d obviously be weaker. I didn’t want anything happening to her, which is why I worked so hard to train her in the Dimensional Training Room," Dennis said inside his head.
[You aren’t worried anymore, right? She is certainly ready now to join any match and face any enemy.]
"Are there any enemies out there as strong as me or my wife?" Dennis asked.
[According to the data I’ve gathered, the teams from the North, West, and East aren’t worth noting. The one to watch out for is the team from the South. When the city was at the center of the darkness ten months ago, their territory took the brunt of the attacks. They clearly gained a lot of levels by successfully surviving against the Rank E to S enemies that appeared there.] 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
"Hmm... that makes sense," Dennis muttered in his head.
Then they entered the faculty lounge. Steve led them into a meeting room to speak more privately.
