Originally, the guards were almost dozing when the roaring sound woke them. Looking up, they jumped in fright, as such high speed intimidated them, scurrying away.
Lu Xiaoyu thus broke through the barrier, drove into the gate, and East City’s sidemen, equally alarmed, dared not obstruct.
Upon entry into East City’s territory, Lu Xiaoyu continued to speed inside. East City’s City Guard promptly reacted, dispatched several trucks in pursuit but were stopped.
But Bing Xiaotao wouldn’t allow them to stop, directing Lu Xiaoyu to keep driving.
