My Mage System (BL)-Chapter 340: *Having their own child*
When he saw the surprise in his eyes, he said to him, "She would like to do the same thing to you that she just did to me. She promised us that she would be fine, and she is really worried about you. She said that your regeneration ability can’t work because one of your energy reserves is blocked and that she could help you make it work normally again... I wish I could check if what she told us is true, but you are way too powerful for me, so I can’t see anything at all with my system."
Elias then exclaimed, frowning and worried for him, "Miguel, why didn’t you tell me that it was so serious?"
Miguel coughed to hide his embarrassment, and he said to Elias honestly, "Well, you were so happy to spend some time with Kevin, and I also wanted to meet him and his family... I’m fine, don’t worry, I told you, I just need to rest..."
Willow then flew away, and Miguel had no choice but to catch her because, after all, she was still a baby and a little clumsy. But as he looked at her and thought she was really adorable, he saw her spread her wings, and he quickly said, "Wait, wait, baby girl, are you sure there won’t be any negative effect on you? You’ve just been born; you shouldn’t be doing that kind of thing yet."
And as Willow continued to spread her wings and cover him with them, she rubbed her head against his hand, and he heard her in his mind, "I’m sure there won’t be any negative effects on me... but if you want to thank me after this, you can help Grandpa Mykael hunt magical beasts for me, and I guess I don’t need to ask you to look after my dads; you two wouldn’t be here if you weren’t already part of our family."
Miguel smiled at her and finally placed her on his chest. He felt a sense of well-being spreading through his body, and more importantly, he felt that the blockage of his soul force reserve had been lifted.
When Willow’s wings returned to their normal size, Miguel thanked her and gently stroked her. Then he looked at Elias, who was looking at him with concern, and he said to him, "Willow has really managed to lift the blockage of my soul force reserve. I won’t have to rest anymore."
Elias could see that Miguel was already starting to regain some color, so he also began to stroke Willow and said to her, "Well done, baby girl. You are very brave."
Elias, in turn, took her in his arms and whispered close to her ear, "Thank you for helping my husband; every time I see him like this, it breaks my heart."
Willow rubbed her head against his neck and said to him, "You are both good men, and after hearing your story, I feel truly honored to have met you."
Elias then laughed heartily and said aloud to her, "You know, baby girl, the fact that legendary and divine creatures are born with an already developed mind is the most confusing thing to me. I don’t think I will be able to get used to it."
Miguel laughed in turn and said to her, as he stroked Willow, "That’s right; a baby is supposed to chirp, and you’re not supposed to worry about other people. Even though you’re still the cutest creature I’ve seen in a long time."
Axel, who was watching them interact with Willow like real doting dads, couldn’t help but ask them, "Have you ever thought about having your own child?"
Elias had passed Willow back to Miguel, who was cuddling her again. He was looking at them with a tender look that didn’t escape anyone. Then he looked at Axel before replying, "Unfortunately, with Miguel we never shared the mark of the Union and our bond of Dual Cultivation had been broken when Miguel died. By the way, even though it is a very powerful bond, it wouldn’t have allow us to have children, so we made up our minds."
Colin then said to him, because for once Elias and Miguel didn’t seem to have grasped the meaning of Axel’s question, "Masters, Axel was born of the union of a God and a legendary creature, and Cassandra was born of the union of a God and a divine creature. Perhaps that potion from the Goddess of Love could work on you two too, don’t you think so?"
Miguel then widened his eyes and looked at Elias, who, just like him, only seemed to realize that what Colin had just said was perhaps possible.
Both of them had long ago given up hope of having children. The Warrior Spirits had become their family, and they had never talked about it together again because they had accepted it long ago, and they were already very happy to be together.
Elias then asked him through their telepathic link, "Do you want to try?" But he quickly added, "Even if we try and it doesn’t work, I don’t want you to be sad. After all, you’ve always been someone special, and you’re not a legendary creature, nor a divine creature; you’re still a human being."
Miguel then said to him, "If you’re willing to give it a try, then so am I, and maybe I’ll be able to adapt the formula for me..."
Elias asked him, "Do you want me to go see Esme now?" 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
Miguel gave Willow back to Axel and thanked him. Then he took Elias’ hand and smiled at him, saying, "Not now, my dear husband. We have waited so long; we can wait a little longer. Let’s enjoy this time together as a family."
Elias kissed his hand and thanked Axel and Colin for having opened their minds to this possibility. He told them that they would go to see Esme, the Goddess of Love, to see if it was possible.
As they got up to go to the kitchen to eat dinner, Elias stopped dead in his tracks, and Kevin froze as well.
Miguel swore immediately and put his hands on either side of Elias’ head because it was much more difficult to connect to his mind than to those of the other Warrior Spirits, but he absolutely had to see the vision that Elias was having.
As for Axel, thanks to the link he shared with Kevin, he too had access to his vision. He saw a long golden scepter topped by a pentagram that looked like the mark Kevin had on his chest, and he saw Diana brandishing it, with golden beams coming out of it, exterminating everything in its path.
